Lampades don't fit into dungeon, too much SM and other such nasty things going on there, they would cry themselves to death.

*Mr.Grey will be expecting you*.

Also, for Stronghold. I want one animal and one animal only-The Roc. I don't care what comes later. (However, Gnolls would be also fine).
And, of course, the Behemoth. Olgoi-Horhoi (Mongolian Death Worm) is way too small to be a Champion creature. Also, since Paokai doesn't have a mythological origin, I would like for it to be replaced by a Roc.

Death Worms are as large as an elephant and much bigger than a human (which is champion of Haven) it has many ways to kill a human, Acid, Poison, Tremors, Teeth, Worm-like Tongues that come out of its maw and worst of all powerful lightning attacks.

That would be enough to make it a champion unit, and if not a elite would do just as fine.

Hecate hates male creatures, so minotaurs and male elves should leave the town before Hecate lets her Lampade and empusa minions into that town :-p

Ultimate lineup (All pictures refer to non-upgraded units):

CORE:

- Gremlin / Wet Gremlin: Gremlins are specialy dangerous creatures, despite their looks. They must not eat after midnight, and they procreate with water.

- Maniac / Berserker: Their electric ball attack is specialy dangerous to ranged enemies

- Troll / Forum Troll: Creature of the Internet. They stalk friendly conversations, and feed of coments.

ELITE:

- Ceantaur rider / Centaur cavalier: Only more dangerous than mad centaur, is a centaur with mad woman on his back!

- Cyclops / Cyclops Watchman: He shoots lasers from his eyes!

- Moth beast / Moth monsteRa: A creature from Japanese legends, this fersome beast will do anything to get it's tiny girls back home to exotic jungle island. It is totaly immune to nuclear radiation waves. So don't even try.

CHAMPION

- Behemoth / King Behemoth: Living on his skull island, his daily routine consists of fighting dinosaurs and other oversized creatures. He is specialy fond of high places.

- Gogira / Mecha Gogira: King of Monsters.

P.S: No I did not misstype the Godzilla or even Gojira. It is intentional.

The Olgoi-khorkhoi isn't really that long, 2 to 5 feet tops.

Problem I see with a worm unit is that it wouldn't make sense on sea battles. Although it would be interesting to see 'land' units that couldn't board a ship.

Told ya. Way to small to be a Champion. Also, Tremors ? They have 3 variations, not 2.

In many other media/games/movies the Death Worm = much bigger than that.

Not all myth monsters should be 100% taken into the game, some could be enlarged, small down a bit or given some new abilities to make them work.

Death Worm is a name many people recognize anway so it could work as giant neutral units.

First off, I can't think of any specific media which calls their giant worm monsters "death worms." Can you name some?

"Death ____" is one of those adjectives you can slap on anything to make it sound more "cool" and important, like "Dire", "Rabid", "Super", etc. I'm not quite sure what separates something like "Death Worm" from, say, "Death Spider"...

As for mentioning that "not all myth monsters should be 100% taken into the game"... well, the very first thing that came to mind was the rather liberal interpretation of "Cerberus" in H6.

Cerberus having two heads instead of three was a HUGE change as its name even means three.

Making the Death Worm bigger isn't anything like that at all...

Many people that know something about cryptids recognize the Death Worm by its name and color (red) and its bizarre ways to kill its victims, its called death worm because it has so many ways to kill you and they bring death.

Of course you can name them Sand Worm, but then people probably take them for the Dune monsters.

Death Worm is fine, Deathcrawlers (which are giant cryptid centipedes) would be fine too. Death Spider is a name with no relation to any myth, so that is different in my opinion.

Speaking of Age of Mythology, that's a major reason I never picked Dionysus as my third god.

they grow heads as they kill units. Same with the scylla, although i prefer the mythological deciption, although its kinda hard to paint while looking menacing
