Ok one last thing (also mentioned in dredknights guide) the RMG often throws an unnecessary index.bin file in the data folder, you have to remove it because it can cause desync if the data folders from 2 PCs are not identical.

I found the following texts at the path :

Class: Veteran<br>Specialization: Warlord<br><br><body_bright>The hero's attack skill increases by +1 for every 7 levels of the Hero.

But actually there is no such hero in the game.

So would you suggest how to identify the valid texts regarding heroes specialization?

MMH5.5 RC5a, ARMG=8P-Square-Iu-(All) for 4 players, 1 human vs 3 AI. Week 4 Month 1.
Warlock with Necromancy

Starting town Dungeon. Governor Sylsai (Overlord with specialty hydra growth). Second town Fortress, converted to Dungeon. Third town Sylvan. Not converted cause limited number reached. (maybe later when possible)

Starting with month 2, encountering Necromancer AI. Two necro heroes in second town area. Back and forth play, avoiding direct confront. Regrouping army, using Town Gate, two main heroes. One warlock, one assassin.

Week 4 month 2. Assasin exploring map. Objective: find necro town. Hero level 14

Warlock (Sephinroth): defending second town area, building some necro army within.

Necro AI sends one of the two heroes from my second town area (Kaspar, death knight) to my third castle area with small army. I am trying to build up to lvl 5 mage guild there to be able to town gate. Following its hero with Sephinroth. On the way to my town Kaspar is converting creature dwellings.
Assassin (Eurina) finds secondary necro town and claims it after small fight: replay3 Necro AI main army hero (Vidomina, necromancer) returning to reclaim its town. Meantime my third town falls: replay4 and is converted by AI to necropolis. With Sephinroth going to my former third town to retake it, Eurina has pushed back main necro AI hero (with status Challenging) without a fight. Eruina is clearing this town area, and building mage levels up to 5 (for town gate). It is day 5 week 1 month 3.
Inferno AI hero (Calid, sorcerer) is entering my second Dungeon area. Eurina is returning with town gate to push him away. Kaspar decides to defend my former third town and loses from Sephinroth: replay5. While pushing back Calid, Eurina is "creeping" with necro troops included into her army, and doesn't seem to have problem with moral: replay6.
My town situation is now two Dungeons with two Necropolis. Map file here. Save file here.

Actual effects of Artifact of Sandals_of_the_Saint£º

A quantity of native Tier4 creatures will be resurrected after combat, the amount of resurrected creatures is equal to 30% + 1% per Knowledge of the Hero. The resurrection costs 12 mana. No resurrection will take place if no mana is available. Undead, mechanical and elemental creatures cannot be resurrected.<br><br><color=purple>Garments of the Saint (1/5)<color=white><br>Mana cost of resurrection will be reduced by -2 if the hero carries at least 3 Garments of the Saint.

But at this path£º

the effect of this artifact is like this:
Adds +1 to the Hero's four primary attributes and +1 to both Morale and Luck.

So we should ignore the above text?
And similar problem exist with other artifacts, can give some clue to avoid such problem?

@Belisarius:

For balancing purposes I'm interested in screenshots from battle sites or hero vs hero battles in first turn (before any creatures have died)
in very late game because it takes very long to get there so I can't get many examples easily. Month 8,10,12,14 or later if you ever get there.

EDIT: Also for 'best of' videos, the H55 video section on moddb is open for submissions (don't require my authorization). Anyone is welcome to upload videos there (with commentary if desired):

@Idongder:

Texts for major and relic artifacts from the seer hut are no longer used. It currently only uses minor artifacts, but I'm not entirely happy about the current system so I might change this in the future (but can't say I will). I think you should make this lowest on your priority list.

This is fixed. Since RC4 it works differently, now you don't need to walk back to town to get the spell, it is integrated in Town management skill you can teleport to every town that has a lvl 5 Mage guild regardless of hero level, so you have to build a network.

No. I am talking about orcs. They are unable to learn 5 adventure spells. You need to choose either learn Town Portal or keep Town Management. But those spells are useful in various circumstances. I need both of them. Why not to make the list of adventure spells similar to the list of warcries so they all fit in one sheet?

Not possible, was mentioned under known issues.

For balance it actually hardly matters, since the buildings required for Town gate are cheaper for stronghold so they mostly skip this short period during which TP is useful anyway.

Always buy talisman 3a, 3b only exists because the AI uses it or for people who want to play H5.5 with no town management at all.

Yes, but Town Management requires Movement Points for teleporting. Town Portal don't.
Maybe it is possible to separate all spells for each talisman? And player will pick spells on his own? If I need Vessel of Shalassa, I will buy talisman with Vessel. But if I need Town Portal, I will buy TP instead of Shalassa or Instant Travel.

I mean that the Stronghold hero needs BOTH spells: the Town Portal spell AND the Town Management spell. Cuz when you are playing as Stronghold against a player with any other faction, then it means that your opponent has BOTH spells. But you have got only one of them. It's not fair. Especially if you take into account the fact that Stronghold already the weakest faction in the game.

Bug report

It seems that the overlord can't take Dark magic skill, instead she (Yrwanna) has Shatter Dark. The skill tree says the opposite (the common sense also). Is it bug or feature? :}

Hello ,
is there possiblity to put overkill to the combat? i mean when 10 dragons kill one peasant they can go streight again? i know this is the most use cheasy tactis in heroes put 6x peasant 1 , and 100 archers to deal with any melle units but it feels wrong..
What are yours opinion about this? it was made allready in some turnbased games panzer general 2 has it i think
