Classic lineup is very good.
Yes its great work on new city look from link on  yout.
But old project has another screen:

Hapily its another and we can get two different towns. Classic lineup and screen and new one.

i'm guessing that's supposed to be an isis statue in the sand? it looks like a nude woman that was whipped and left for dead. pretty disturbing. just saying. otherwise, very nice.

i would brighten the sand significantly, tho. it's much too dark considering the sky and the environment it's in. if you do that and make the shadows darker, you'd have a better townscreen. imo.

Yeah Zeryss gave me this big pack of town screen, screenshots for this project from several stages of development. I just took the ones that looked good chopped them up and combined it all in photoshop. Then i started to get creative when it all looked flat to me. This was my first time trying to add shadows so i'm a bit happy with the look so far. I've started adding little animations to kind of give it some life also. The problem lately is that i have town screen adhd! I'm all over the place working on different projects. When i get burned out on one town i jump to another and the process is all fresh again.

Hi. I am pleased to share with you a revised version of edeksumo's Pavilion Town. We have been working on it for the last month and we enriched it with new heroes, improved balance and correct English.

I compiled an overview of the most important changes in this pdf: Pavilion Heroes.pdf

Version 2.49 can be downloaded here: New Pavilion 2.49.rar (fixed)
(Patch with a fix: New Pavilion fix.rar)
* NOTE: it's incompatible with the old Town version. Furthermore, I recommend using the latest daily build of VCMI, one hero specialty doesn't work without it.

Many thanks to edeksumo and the Acid Cave modding community for bringing this town to VCMI.

I would also like to thank the orignal creators - Wog Forum's New Town Group. If the list I found on Acid Cave is credible, my sincerest thanks and compliments go to you: Corwin, Druin, Efrit, GeNNadiy, Bianor, Bars, Dj_Kolan, Ennin, Garold Fonzen, Khamza, Mantiss, NordStar, Push, Qkat, Riand-In and Supkrovi. As embarrasing as it is, a few quite serious bugs have found their way into the release. I promptly released a fix, so if you downloaded the previous version, please apply the attached files.

Also, if anyone skimmed through new heroes' specialties, you may have raised a brow at the last one. Me and my friends have some knowledge about Heroes 3 balance and are familiar with all regular vanilla Heroes (maybe even too much), but we still couldn't help ourselves to add an experimental Anubian Hero with unique specialty:



In the beginning, we had a brainstorm about all kinds of crazy ideas and some of them were related to Mummies - creatures with a very strong Egyptian theme. This peculiar hero was one of such ideas (a really tame one, in retrospect). He is tricky to play, as the Mummies that he's supposed to accumulate, make it harder for other units to have positive morale.

Some discussion has already developed about his viability and the opinions are really divided. In theory, he has some serious pros and cons, but I'm curious about your take on this. If you already have some impression about him or any other issues, feel free to give feedback here.

Thank you very much! I have really hoped that someone would take this great city and improve on it. Great work! I especially like the idea about the undead specialist. Would it be possible to let him raise mummies directly with necromancy? Also I think mummies had some kind of curse in the original H3, which don't seem to be here anymore. At least my mummies had no special abilities. Would be great to see some kind of curse again for the mummies.

I really hope that you will archieve the return of the Elephants in the future, they are a great unit!

Thanks for your comment wakkler. Glad that you liked our idea. For now, it's only possible to raise Skeletons, Zombies, Wights and Liches with the Necromancy Skill in VCMI. I also consider it a balancing measure. You can't just raise a massive army of Mummies. You have to keep spending a considerable amounts of gold to do it.

And about the issue you described, some neutral creatures's abilities are missing or work incorrectly. I meant to report this to VCMI bugtracker long time ago, but forgot. Thanks for reminding me! Before the changes appear in one of the official builds, have a fixed json: Fixed neutrals.rar
(You need to upack it and put in the folder where you installed VCMI, in "/Config/creatures" directory. Then, Mummies will have a curse, Halflings positive luck and Rust dragons their breath attack.)

Also, really sorry for getting your hopes up about new units. We really want to achieve this, but unfortunately aren't as experienced as Hota or MDT 3D artists, so it will take a long time until something worth showing appears. Don't count on anything sooner than in ~1-2 months. Thanks for believing in us nonetheless, we won't give up easily!

Im not a moddeler, but i can make sprites from models. World of Warcraft has 3 mammoths models. Maybe works for you guys:
