do you know of a way to view loose psk and dds tex through some kinda viewer?
I cant find one, and creating a new package in the unreal editor is beyond me
its probably the only way I'm guessing

AC Mod 1.5 is now live

changelog:
- Added 10 new creatures: Radiant Glories, Efreet Sultans, Juggernauts, Succubi, Nereids, Kappa Shoyas, Cave Panthers, Faceless, Faceless Assassins and Sea Elf Renegades
- Modified growth buildings to include alternative creatures
- Moved Efreeti to Academy and Air Elementals to Stronghold
- Replaced Darkness Elementals in Dungeon with Faceless. Elementals are neutral again.
- Added Kappas as a third alternative in Sylvan
- New creatures and White Tigers can spawn as neutral stacks. They also appear in Heropedia.
- Various small tweaks and stat changes
- Updated website

in case of bugs:
This is becoming quite a big project so bugs may happen. I squashed three of them just hours before releasing, but I'm not sure if that's all. When you see a bug, please don't kill me for it , I do not have an army of paid testers at my disposal. Instead report it here, describing as best as you can what is the nature of it.

I don't usually post a comment, I mostly read, but what kind of speed is that? This is crazy, the amount of works and speed...ah...your amazing AD, kind of becoming your fan now lol, I really appreciate the way you share your ideas and discuss with the audiences ,keep up your good work. I hope h7 devs share your speed tho.

Good work, Acid Dragon. Out of curiosity, is it the intention that with time, Elementals shall all become neutral again if suitable replacement creatures can be found?

going to test the mod now. thanks for that! i m so eager for the faceless!!
another question. are game mechanics moddable? i mean can we mess with the skill numbers?
ultimately meaning, can we have percentages back instead of stupid numbers?
e.g. novice exploration - 10% more movement, expert exploration - 20% more movement and so on.

the mod looks great and it works!! a few remarks
i came across an army of neutral faceless. highlighted the creature and it said "neutral rmy" instead of their names i don't know if this is intentional.
and as for the growth dwelling, i don't know if you are allowed to split its screen too . and the description wasn't like the others' dwellings. i will try the rest of the factions in time! i had to see the faceless as fast as i could pls pls pls replace medusa

Actually I'd like to keep Light Elementals in Haven - I thought they fitted perfectly there in Heroes 6 and Might & Magic X.

As for Earth Elementals, I think they also fit Sylvan (and the authors thought so too, giving Sylvan Greater Earth Elementals as catapults), but I would replace them with Unicorns if I could.

Air Elementals are the least fitting of the three and I hope that indeed with time we can have something more "strongholdish" here.

Those are radiant glories. Difference is glories can blind creatures, while light elementals heal their allies.

The irrelevant information of the day: we can call elementals as the raw energy that forms and acts as automated life that seeps out of the primordial element. But elementals are mostly without logic or emotions. They fulfill a function.

On the other hand, there are more refined aspects of each elemental, more evolved forma even if they are weaker because unlike the raw elementals that are mainly manifestations of power, wild and untamed, these refined forms have a function and a reason for being. Sylphids are breezes and the mighty winds all up to the atmospheric gods are elementals. In ashan the primordial element is Asha and all 6 elemental dragons are her first incarnation in a defined world.

Bottom line, light elementals and glories are not the same. We can say that light elementals are the radiance coming from elrath given life for a small time due to the presence of the god while glories are formed of light with the gods intention for life. And angels are the priced lifeforms due to that the dragon god himself made them and called them his children. Thus, there is a whole order of light beings of which we can say the blueprint or the wild form is the elementals. An elemental of all sorta will dehenerate into the wild elemental if consioussness or thought is taken from it.

Now, why am i trying to connect esoteric and apocryphal lore with ashan, is really beyond me...

Getting back to this question, now I had the time to look at it and frankly there doesn't seem to be anything wrong here... well, aside that there's too much blue in general . I guess the authors just wanted an effect like that.

The color coding armies can look really good in factions like haven and slyvan but not good at all with stronghold and necro. Some more colors, preferably neutral colors, would be much better.

thank you very much for looking into it. in-game you can t see any texture at all and it seems it was badly painted. btw can you access game mechanics?

You will have be more specific.
I probably can't change any "core" mechanics. Like - I can't replace squares with hexes on the battlefield. But I could tweak some of them.

As for the color coding - you can turn it off if you don't like it.
Go to the "Documents" folder and then:
Documents\My Games\Might & Magic Heroes VII\MMH7Game\Config\MMH7Game.ini
then change
"mColorCodeModels=False"

And just for the Chance u get a Moment, could u check if there is a Chance to bring the healing sister back for haven? Are there any animations unused?
Btw there is also an alternative model for the sister some one made it is a mod called 'doctor' on the hereos fan site with various fan projects, she has black hair and a really nice model, i can post it later, i write on my phone atm

Keep the awesome mod going please (-: u are doing a really good job with It! And u give people hope (-:

no no i LOVE color coding and it was a shame the dryads had theirs messed up!
no i mean numbers.
exploration gives ONE movement point per rank. can you make the number one to a 10% of total movement points?
same with offense  and defense.

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any extra animations - especially no movement. Just the healing animation (that is repeated as the attack animation), getting hit, dying and idle.

On the topic of Global Mods, would it be possible to unlock the extra heroes for usage in Skirmish maps, like Khalida, Menan, Sandalphon, etc?
