Yeah, that may work, still I don't know which buildings got growth boosters and which not, so I will have to check how many there are.
If we exclude also champion units which are alternative themselves, we have 2 alternative upgrades two be done per faction (one elite and one core).

Fully disagree with this.
If Lizard chooses to do it that way, it just means every faction except stronghold will have a 3rd upgrade for its strong elite; and every faction except Haven and Academy will be getting 3rd upgrades for their strong core. I doubt anyone really cares for pikemen, centaur and gargoyles to get another upgrade lol.

OK I agree this is a nonsense, I did not realise it before.
But I like the idea of one elite and one core having alt. upgrade. It should be probably now the most boring ones (like golem).

Nice one Liz, I'd almost want to play it, if it wasn't in h7.
The release is going to be postponed a bit further, but without fail the first mod starting to get rid of all kinds of Ashanities will be available in order to let you start purging your h7 copy!
For the wait, more screenies.
Sorry for I couldn't find a better Mino, but at least it's a Mino and not a freaking dark elf.

Yes! He will need warcries for his last slot. I still remember that h6 stronghold faction video...RUSH NOW THINK LATER
Btw I really like "the deathless" looking forward to necro as a whole but especially the stronger, death cloud ready, and now double upgrading LICH!!

It doesn't stop here, now that death cloud is passive, the Deathless will get "Raise Dead" as an active ability which he can use once or twice per battle I also removed hex of disruption from lich, as a lvl 6 lich with death cloud attack is already scary enough Btw death cloud will get its h3 sound
Now, I know I postponed this enough, but requests upon requests were pilling up and I want to finish those and add 2nd upgrades and extra creatures for the rest of the towns so it will be balanced. This week I'm kinda busy, but I'm already working on fixing the unicorn's animation as those deers need to be kicked out (and perhaps re-textured as a mount). And maybe with some luck Alchemy and a few new skills will be in Now Warcries are getting a rework:
All warcries work on a 2 turns cooldown now and will still work only for 1 turn. Most of them affect only 1 single creature now.
March:(replaces advance) the selected creature will get a 25% movement bonus
Stand Ground:(replaces hold positions) the selected stack will get the "Defend" bonus without wasting its turn (affects only 1 creature)
Projectile Barrage:(replaces Open Fire) got to chose an effect from 2 for this one, either the creature will shoot twice or will gain a 2*2 area of effect damage(which will deal less than normal damage per tile)
Oratory:(new) All units gain 20 morale
Counter-strike:(replaces Engage) the stack will get extra retaliation(s) or maybe endless retaliation? (may be OP with endless retaliation)
Deployment(replaces attention) adventure map spell, adds extra 50% map movement bonus, works on a 7 day cooldown (maybe should consume mana?)
I'm trying to give them interesting, yet balanced, yet realizable effects But feel free to share your opinions

I dislike Deployment, I don't think warcries should affect adventure map, after all, they are called WARcries. Maybe deployment could give some bonus to warfares? All the others are great and feel like more useful ones for me than the original ones.
Btw. Are you able to switch the moral and luck caps off? They are really easy to reach.

I find this idea ok (don't know about balance and stuff) It would be a might ability for adventure map. Besides, they are not battlecries War lasts more than one battle

In case the game isn't polished by august, will the mods be individual? I mean like my warcries they way they are but i dislike GM offense/defense. Or a creature balancing mod for example with the H7 creatures.

I must support Chris that this would be really cool if you could make it in this way, sooner or later.
Or maybe generally splitting this mod into more ones which can be combined would attract more people.
The problem of large mods is that they usually include also the changes people dislike.
Speaking about myself, I would really like these gameplay improvements, upgrades etc. But keeping the original units' design and Heroes' portraits.

Indeed. All i need a balanced spells,skills,creature stats,and somehow diversity between the existing creatures. When this is a go then you can build up on that for changes that go beyond the game.
For example an existing balanced roster will make it easier for futute creature imports with the same stats.
I know all this is ubi's work and not the modders', but it would great if the game would appeal to as many as possible.

well IMO Ashan is going to the Trashcan in this mod, so I think you can like that aspect or lump that lol
as Official Erwin of the team I will get very precious and pedantic if my ten commandments are undermined, if Erwin would not release the good parts of his games in modular form without forcing Ashan lore down neck why would we lol

I think that maybe (though personally, i don't mind) Lizard could try to make the installer provide choices where you choose which parts of the game can be replaced and which can remain. If ofc this is not too much work on his part.
PS:
1. Will there still be the 5 tier system (2/1/2/1/1)? Or will the townscreens be modded so that we can have the old 7 tier system?
1.1 If the old tier system will be back, can we expect changes in the unit status? In a way that they have more specific roles than the generic role they have now?
2. Will you please add more music tracks to the game? Music from older heroes and espcecially Heroes IV to the general mix?
2.1 Is there a way to have multiple tracks for specific areas that play in random each time? Like 2-3 scores for the adventure map that can play randomly each time you enter the adventure map?
2.2 On the same note, can units have multiple voice sets and SFX files? Like Elves having the specific voices from heroes III/IV/V/VII? And could they also play randomly during combat?
