With respect to the First Aid Tent, I would rather rename it "Field Hospital" or something and allow it to do automatic post-battle resurrection, provided the winner of the battle has the Tent at the end.

Something like this:
First Aid Skill
None - no benefit
Basic - If victorious, resurrects 10% of all fallen units at the end of battle.
Advanced - Like Basic, but then 15%.
Expert - Like Basic, but then 20%.

The First Aid Tent boosts this by an additional 5% (or sets it at 5%, if the Hero doesn't have the First Aid Skill). Furthermore, First Aid Specialists will boost this even further. A level 20 First Aid specialist would - assuming Expert First Aid - resurrect 40% of all fallen units if combat is won, or 50% if the Tent is present.

I liked. Its something like a necromancy, but for living ones.

i'm not taking away from the originality and genuinity of the idea, but the thing is this thing only has 75 HP. if it so happens that a battle is in high casualty arena - that thing will definitely get destroyed

The same as any other war machine. What would help is to increase its hitpoints and defense values. In reallife, Field Hospitals weren't on the actual battle field either, but rather at the perimeter or slightly away from it.

it's 0 Defense and 75 HP vs 10 Defense and 250 HP for a Ballista

how do you raise Defense from zero ? would you double HP to 150 ?

even then it's not gonna do much. it's just made that way, to be a one-hit target. it's a friggin tent

new Factory War Machine - Field Hospital. improved version of First Aid Tent just like Cannon for Ballista that ressurrects troops. how about that?

I made First Aid Tent and Ammo Cart as durable as Ballista/Cannon, it might not make much sense logically, but it is at least more fair that way.

Increase durability with increasing First Aid Skill. The Ballista gets stronger with increasing Artillery Skill as well.

Exactly what i had on mind. Just think how mass cure at the end of every turn would annoy the opponent.

it doesn't get stronger. Artillery skill only gives an extra shot. same way you would give Tent a 2nd heal !

It could be the hero casting a free Cure instead of having the tent sprite on the battlefiled.

But thinking of it this is a more invasive change as it would do away with the tent "artifact and entail a redesign of what some cities' blacksmith does.

I'm gonna comment on something I've personally discussed with some members of this forums and that has being bothering me for quite some time.
Wizards!
They're supposed to be the polar opposite of barbarians — the epitome of arcane lore (remember Heroes Chronicles: Masters of the Elements; "Tarnum becomes that which he hates most, a Wizard"). However, for some bizarre reason their scaling after level 10 is this: 30/20/20/30 (instead of the traditional 20/20/30/30 for magic heroes). Why? Maybe only JVC knows, but I'd place my money on error; there's no reasonable justification for it, they're not battle mages or hybrid class. I firmly believe this should be corrected.
Think about it this way, Wizards, throughout the media (literature mainly) have always been depicted as wise men (and sometimes women), whose time is entirely dedicated to the pursuit of arcane lore, they study as magic as a scientist would physics, for examle. What on earth would operate this change of heart when they reach a certain age (a metaphor for reaching level 10)? It makes 0 sense — all of a sudden they are more interested in leading armies offensively than improving their craft? This 30/20/20/30 may suit a battle mage, or even a navigator, but certainly not a staff wielding, ponty hat, old wise man.
Please keep in mind that I am not talking about balance, neither am I trying to change the game only because I'd prefer it this way. In fact, I strongly feel they should be this way, 'cause it is the correct way — wouldn't you want it changed, if, for example, barbarians (old Crag Hack) would scale like this, 20/30/30/20, after level 10? Absurd, isn't it? Right, that's how I feel about my colleagues

Reading about the upcoming Factoy (source: https://vk.com/@tavern_homam-horn-of-the-abyss-docent-picolan-factory), the evocation of Heroes II's Wizard class caught my attention (as one would expect): it seems that, in a certain sense, Factory is a spiritual successor of the old Wizard class, but it feels more "alive" and soulful than Heroes III's Tower.
I hope the devs use this opportunity, among other things, to improve the uniqueness of the classes; not only do wizards scale, after the tenth level, in a bizarre way, they're too similar too the other magic classes, the same being true for the might classes.
Maybe unique skills (a la Heroes V) is a "bridge too far", but small peculiarities would be welcome — Necropolis has got necromancy, Cove has its cannon, Factory probably will have a nice touch too. Maybe Tower could get an alchemic contraption (instead of the ammo cart), which, when fueled by gems or crystal or mercury, would boost the Hero's spell power.
I know it may sound biased, but if there's a faction totally deprived of uniqueness, that faction is Tower. They have got nothing, period. Their heroes feel shallow and devoid of any grandess one would expect from a classical archetype such as wizard.

I think 2 ideas that will go well with the game are
1) Multiplayer campain - from the same computer so you could play with your friend in a diffrent "mode" and it will have a story line.
2) Make a contest in the forums and/or facebook, that you give fans something like a month to build maps for the game, and then the community will be able to vote for the maps and the better maps will be added into the game with credit for its maker.

How about making Warmachines in generell scalable with level?
Currently, they (not counting catapult) get destroyed faster than anything else. 10 Dragons fly over the field and destroy your machines in one hit.

They simply become quite ... fragile in general after a certain numver of turns passed.

Hey,

I'd like to suggest a Campaign featuring new object on HotA:

Prison Placeholder - shortly saying: It's a hero placeholder, but the hero appears in a prison on the next mission, and must be set free before continue gaining new experience.

Other than that: I'd suggest again, as I already did so earlier(reminder ) of adding a new artifact, that makes our units immune to all mind spells, equally as was working under the Badge of Courage on regular SOD as a hidden feature. I'd suggest this one also being a MISC Relic artifact, to make it more valuable, but at the same time accurate to the usage of SOD's Badge of Courage over adventure maps.

Cheers,
Rakso

I've said before: they should add that hidden effect to Titan's Thunder. Because it is as of now less competent compared to relics such as Ironfist of Ogre, Angelic Alliance,Armor of the Damned etc. Plus assuming Titans are immune to mind spells, the change will make sense.

That's a really, really awful idea. I'm against it. This artifact should be a 1 slot MISC Relic at least and at best, just as I said. It would be of same use as the old badge of courage this way and come in handy as on SOD. I don't expect anyone or myself to spam a +9 +9 +9 +9 600 dmg artifact on most enemy heroes through an adventure map. That would be stupid and broken. The idea You provide has nearly 99% no use for both singleplayer and multiplayer. Wasted.

I see where you're coming from. Sorry but i never take custom maps into consideration. In PvP even being immune to berserk alone is quite an advantage.

Then what use has your idea online? Are there situations when you're even able to make a Titan's thunder?(AotD and AA are easier to create, than it) Or cast berserk since it's very rarely used, equally as whole fire magic is? I believe you're playing not the right multiplayer my friend.

You're suggesting something that would have no use at all on both. lol Why even suggestcit then, if it still would be non-existing on the game?
