Nope, that's pretty much how it currently is. The problem is not about the option being on or off it's about being there at all which is a philosophy break. This bug never existed in anything released by NWC because Q-style quick combat is an hdmod addition.

Looks like the AI summons a creature, but the summoning itself gets blocked while the procedure is allowed to run, resulting in nullptr exception. A correct fix would prevent AI from summoning in this situation altogether...
EDIT
Correcting myself, this is failure to clone a creature, not summon one.
EDIT2
Fixed at the root, AI can't consider casting clone if it would cause a crash... Msgbox only for visualization. Hopefully I can release this and a few other things tomorrow.

Reproduce way - 1. Dismiss you hero 2. ALT+RMB on enemy hero 3. Enemy hero will dissapear.

Game is freezed after skipping the turn. This caused by brown AI, he tried to summon a boat in the place with events.

Last video is possibly an hdmod related bug; if memory serves you can't view your own turn without it. Could be wrong on this one though.
I'll take a look at saves when I can... been kinda busy and I haven't even had time to test the last patch on winXP which is why it's not live yet.

Bug from the last video is a possible to reproduce in vanilla though "replay opponent turn" function.
One more SoD bug (quite minor, but anyway) - game would crash when we press a "T" button on the turn of shooting tower (possible when hero have an artillery skill under siege). This bug is a fixed in one of chinese bug-fix additions but not in the HD+ or HotA.

Error since Homm3 HD 5.2 RC8
Hello,
Thank you for this awesome plugin! I have made an account here in order to report a bug I'm experiencing. I use SoD_SP and HoMM3 HD mod, and ever since the latter was updated to version 5.2 RC8 my game has crashed consistently whenever I see magical effect in combat. It also happens with version 5.2 RC9 (current latest version). The crash does not happen when I disable SoD_SP.
Is anyone else experiencing the same or has any insight?
Edit: Has been fixed with HD mod 5.2 RC10, no cause for alarm.

T bug for Arrow Towers - HDmod fixes this, at least in the latest version. It replaces the dialog with the right-click description. I don't know when this fix was added but I'd suggest to keep HDmod up to date as that's the only officially supported version.
No ETA on release, I need to test things and need to actually look at issue #2.

SoD_SP makes the metataxer's revenge map impossible to walkthrough. If you start a new game with sod_sp enabled an invisible market of time appears (143, 5, 0), which completely blocks your way futher. If you start a new game with sod_sp disabled there is no market of time and you can travel on boat freely through that place.
P.S. Turning on/off sod_sp options doesn't change anything.
P.P.S. The only way to avoid this bug: start a new game without sod_sp -> save -> restart game with sod_sp -> load your save file.

Ah phooey, I never published the fix in 1.19.1.0 and there I was working on 1.19.1.1 the last times I was updating this

I've also seen this bug happen when I was play testing my map. The invisible market of time appeared only after I walked over a specific tile. Also this bug is inconsistent. As I've had 2 other playthroughs of the same map where I played with SOD_SP from the start and this never happened.

Yeah, I've read that; but was hoping that at least for local it would be possible somehow...
Sod_Sp is my fav mod, similar can be achieved with Era + Safe Sod, still SP has better design.

An interesting bug. "AI Magic Mirror" option allows creatures with MM to redirect other creatures'abilities which shouldn't be possible. For example, creature under Magic Mirror can redirect both Dispell and Weakness cast by Dragon Flh.

Hello ,
It's my first post in forum .
I wanted check SoD_SP and my animation is upper and I don't see all options :/. I noticed "lag" when start game - propably loading all function.

I have also question. Could you tell me how disable all options (default disabled all [best controlling]), because I can't know so fast all option. I disabled in F12, but working others? I (actaully) reading documentation.

Video animation will be stopped in dialogs starting next update.

All the details are in SoD_SP.ini in the installation folder, you can set the options to your preference there and save them for later - or modify them in game and save them from there.
While most options will have 'vanilla' gameplay by setting them to OFF, there are a few options that are reversed when dealing with specific bugs fixed by the HDmod (e.g. CloneBug).
The modifications done by SoD_SP that are not modifiable in game or through the ini are almost all crash bug fixes, with a few minor non-gameplay and UI bug fixes.
