I'm in tears, this is so moving, thank you all, I love you all... As a friend mind you, I'm saying it for your protection.
Anyway, belated update due to a foot injury and a situation that had to come through before saying anything.
So... Came back, and there was an ice cream festival, so I did the rational thing and went there with my best friend, turns out, it opened later in the evening, so we went around for some hours until the opening hour.
Well, for some reason the cashiers weren't there and wouldn't arrive until 8 PM, bummer, another hour and a half of waiting, so what to do? In the line there were these two gals, so we did the rational thing and just started a barrage of jokes about the situation, eventually we jokingly invited them to get an ice cream in the bar in front of the venue.
They told us they had to wait for others.
Oh... ok.
But then the others came, and as we were deciding to just leave and go there tomorrow these two (and the couple they were waiting for) decided to join us at the bar, since they told another friend of theirs that they would be there, well, didn't expect that.
What I didn't expect was that this last friend was a really cute, Scandinavian looking girl, dayum, we're getting somewhere, too bad she bore the mark of the beast, a tainted bloodline, a cursed accent, indeed, she came from N*ples.
But anyway, we had dinner at the bar, then went to the venue again, in the event we still wanted an ice cream, eventually the other friends start leaving, the ones who remained were: me, in a hurry to binge watch an anime series (priorities my friends); my best friend, who had to go and meet with an older friend; one of the girls we met first, who was from around here; and the N**politan.
Well, the festival wasn't yet open, so we decided to kill some time by talking and...
Bloody hell they're both underage. Again. WHY DOES THIS KEEP HAPPENING TO ME!? (Mind you, they are of legal age)
But then, I just slip a joke about getting back Dalmatia and the N**politan does the unexpected.
She drops the bomb, she went on a pilgrimage to Predappio (For those who don't know, it's where Mussolini was born and where he was buried), she went to many meetings of nostalgics and is in general in the far-right.
Oh come on, tell me those things immediately so I know with whom I should flirt, even worse, she was leaving the next day.
So we spent some more time together, and then decided to meet the next day.
But then I made a mistake. I'm a bit too trusting of my best friend with these things, so I told him to organize everything (because I'm a lazy man alright? I like to do my things first), besides, we knew she would leave at like 8 PM. So another bombshell, she would leave at 6 PM, so to at least tell her goodbye I had to run from one part of the city to the other.
In the end I did tell her goodbye, she said she would return, she was happy that we took all the trouble to come to her.
Best part? I finally managed to seriously tell somebody "Ci vediamo camerata", which is basically "Be seeing you comrade", only that this kind of comrade, as you can guess, it's not the communist comrade.
Oh yeah, that mad run? I got something on my foot and now have trouble walking long distances. Yay.
