I'm having troubles imagining what these could be. My best guess is that every foe has at least 1 weeks growth of every unit from your faction in addition to your existing army.

Lads I'm not gonna lie I teared up a little bit when I heard the "long ago there were heroes" motiff. I was punched in the face by my childhood and it has left a most nostalgic bruise. I'm so excited to play this.

As someone who thinks that the H5 Haven theme is probably the best town screen music in the entire series, I've gotta say I love the start of this preview. Feels pretty good, I like this one.

Unfrozen have a panel at Gamescom
There will be some new announcements at the event. I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility expect a release date for Early Access, and maybe an official reveal for the secret faction.
I hope the game isn't released on the week of August 26th. I'm not gonna have any internet starting that day for about 12 days. That would be my luck, wouldn't it.

That town screen looks almost amazing, just slightly spoiled by the 'model with a poor puppeteer' vibe I get from the dragon.

Yea, animations aren't quite there yet. And those stick figures on the bridge up to the gate look like placeholders to me. Hopefully it's not final and they're still working on it.

Hovering actually makes sense for a dragon - with its size, power, and probably a bit of magic, it wouldn’t need constant wing flaps. You also see plenty of examples in games and movies where dragons hover, so it doesn’t feel awkward to me at all.

D&D is pretty famous for this. Citing that as magical creatures dragons don't really need their wings to fly. Especially now after the 2024 redesign of them. That's kinda the direction I was taking the dragons in Olden Era anyways. If magic, why not use magic to fly?
