Another question:
Is it possible to make a town look like a mountain or a tavern or something?

Using the new Map Editor with internal Object Editor, or using external Object Editor, you just have to change object's appearance (paste another DEF there).

Well, I've tried. That's why I post here, if I change the town-look into something different it just seems like a part of the town is showing...

Did you try loading the map? Some of the objects that do that will look correct when you play but not in the editor.
One other issue--if you build any structure in the town, I think it returns to its normal look anyway (at least that's what happened when I used ERM to place a town that looked like something else).

Quote: Excuse me guys.I am new around here and brand new as a WOG player.I used to play heroes 3 and it's expansion for years,until recently that i finally discovered this MAGNIFICENT expansion.I was rather dissapointed with heroes 4,5 but WOG has still this special 'thing'...
Anyway i am an amateur and justified for asking stupid questions.
Hem...If i got that right,ERM is a way to change everything by typing ...codes;Well,where should i type these exactly and how can i learn ERM????
Can someone inform me about the tiny basic details please???
ERM (Event Related Model) is quite extensive and complicated (but some things are easy) so you won't learn it all in a day, or even a week, but it's also very powerful.
Many of the new options in WoG (the majority of the options in the WoG Options screen for when you WoGify a map) are scripts written in ERM.
If you download the ERM Tools from the WoG site's Download page (in the optional files section, just below the main downloads), you'll get the ERM Script Editor and ERM Help (a large HTML document). You can read a bit about how ERM works in the Help files in the triggers and receivers pages and browse through the rest as a reference.
You can also look at existing scripts in the Data\s folder of your WoG installation, many of which include comments.
In addition, there's at least one introductory mini guide to ERM "ERM for Dummies" written as a series of forum messages by Qurqirish Dragon, but I don't have a link handy at the moment (someone probably has it) and I think someone else wrote something for new ERM people too.
In a nutshell, ERM works with trigger statements and receiver statements. A trigger is an event of some sort. A receiver is an object or some game parameter. For example, an trigger event could be a hero visiting a certain type of object. Receiver events could follow that would give that player gold and that hero a stat bonus. There are also conditional checks, flags, variables, functions, and much more, so it's really a programming language in itself.
All scripts must start with the word ZVSE at the top of the script on a line by itself. ERM scripts can either be put into timed (global) events in a map, as a script saved with the script editor inot the maps folder (and named the same as the map but with .erm as the extension), or as a wogify script in the Data\s folder with the name script##.erm, where ## is 00 through 99 (00 through 77 are currently used by 3.58f, however).

Ok; All I would like to know is how to make a War Zealot cast Disease upon attack, and I am quite new to the whole ERM system, I just need the string code for it or a set of easy to follow instructions.
It would make my day (Seriously)
Thankies

Hello, since this thread is for anything related to ERM then I guess I can post questions too.
I would like to learn how to use it, I have no clue how to corectly use it, when I make one it either doesn't execute, or doesn't execute at all,I've only started.
It would help out a lot to give a link where a good tutorial or such exists...
Heh... my first script:
Event name: azure_building (Azure Dragons creature dweling)
!?OB13/22/0;
!!IF&1000:Q3^Do you want your hero to take the Azure Dragon with him?^;
I would like on this one to be able to take 1 Azure Dragon for free,(optional to show portrait) then never be able to take Azure Dragons again,insted it would show a message like "this place is deserted" or such.
Thanks.
