its really hard to make absolutely new creature,especially if you dont know 3d modelling...much easyer to steal it from somewhere or make from parts  so if you want completly new ones- do them yourself  ))

these new creatures look incredible. Well the basilisk rider I like the most. It has no problems of appearence. The magog is well mounted on the basilisk. Nice job evilhydra. WHERE DO YOU COME UP WITH THEM?

Right, there is a building linked to water called sirens. You can see harpies there.
The sirens you mean, EDN are the mermaids.
It's kinda weird, since in french, sirens are the mermaids, and harpies are the sirens.

Here I am.
Well sirens were 4 harpies whith beatifull voice that lived near water.When you listened to a siren singing then you "loved" her and went near them, then they killed you.

As for the cratures you can create mermaid and Scylla, Haribdis was a "mouth" who ate ships (maybe the ancients Greeks saw a maelstrom and thought it as a monster(they always did that)).
