Top Five Favorite Movies Ever

As I am always curious about the members of this community, I thought it would be fun for everyone to list their top five favorite movies of all time and why they liked them so much.  Now these movies don't necessarily have to be classic, well-known, or even good movies, but I think it would be interesting just to see what everyone else enjoyed.  Also, it may bring back some old favorites that you have forgotten about and may want to watch again or some new titles that you never heard of but may peak your interest.  Here are my Top 5 (not necessarily in any particular order):

1. The Breakfast Club
(Light-hearted teen movie that defined my generation, the 80's, along with all the Brat Pack stars...Molly Ringwald, Emilio Estevez, Ally Sheedy, Judd Nelson, and Anthony Michael Hall)
2. Silence Of The Lambs
(One of the most suspenseful movies that I can recall watching.  I really felt myself getting pulled into the search for the killer, as if I was there right alongside Agent Starling/Jodi Foster.  Hannibal Lechter rules!)
3. Rocky
(The best part of this movie is the fact that the hero is victorious despite the final outcome.  A movie about pride, determination, and the triumph of the human spirit.  Very emotional.)
4. Saving Private Ryan
(Of course I had to have a military movie in here somewhere.  I thought this movie really depicted what the WWII battlefield encompassed and was graphically realistic in its portrayal.  A reminder of the sacrifice our grandparents' generation had to endure during a very important period of our history.)
5.  Raiders Of The Lost Ark
(Totally got lost in all the action and adventure of this treasure hunt movie.  Indiana Jones was just so cool and so unbelievably believable, if that makes any sense.)

but, what the hell... in alphabetical order:

Braveheart
Fight Club
Lord of the Rings
The Crow (all of them)
X-Men (trilogy)

close, but no cigar:
Highlander (1,3,4 2 is a "what if" and only Sir Sean Connery saves the day)
Jay and Silent Bob series (Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, J. and S.B. strike back)
Lethal Weapon (all 4)
Monty Python movies
The Matrix (trilogy)

btw, the Breakfast club was fun to watch but they lost me when that "goth" put that pink thing on...

Movies... Love them.

1. Merlin
The best film ever made. That's it. You know you know it.

2. Trainspotting
Drugs. And drugs. And filth. And dirt. And discussing things. Ahh... Almost better than the book.

3. Fight Club
Wonderful film. Love it.

4. Monty Pythons The Wuest for the Holy Grail
Their best film. This is the funniest film I have ever seen!

5. Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon
This is awesome! Swords and fights... And a good story.

Something like that. I think...

- Three Kings. One of the major factors in turning me into a pacifist.
- Anything by the Python gang, Brian, Holy Grail, Meaning of Life. They're all great!
- Pulp Fiction. Best Tarantion movie, though Reservoir Dogs are neat, too.
- Bowling for Columbine. Michael Moore is a genious!
- From Hell. 'Nuff said...

Rychen, you know there'll be Starship Troopers 2?

Clancy Brown as Zim is in it, not sure about others...

And unfortunately it will be only 'straight to DVD/video' release.
