I never trusted Ubi and it's very strange that the line-up which received the most hate, due to its boringness(straightforward rush), got 45% of the votes.
Though I liked both the bladedancers and treants being champions, it's the strategy which concerns me (as someone stated a long time ago, guerilla tactics are defensive)

Are you really going there? The said people who were so against it winning had the most cheated votes!
People voted and fury won that's it no hidden conspiracy theory I said a long time ago that no matter what happens people will never be pleased and I was right.
People complain when ubisoft picks the line up and people STILL complain when you have chance to vote for said line up.

So why did it receive the most hate again? If anything, the percentages show the exact opposite of what you're saying.

During some research it was found out that only 14% of Americans who have the right to vote are interested in politics. I assume that similar situation occured during this vote - the most active group (presumably a minority) was against the Fury but still, it was the minority and majority, who remained silent, chose the option that suited them the most - and it was Sylanna's Fury. That's democracy.

like when people complained about the swordbearer and then complained about the landsknecht.
we are spoiled people.

Because the almighty poll here showed otherwise. We are the most prestigeous community EVER and what we believe here should apply everywhere! YEAH! The whole gaming world is this community!

Like I have said all along, I doubt our vote has ever mattered. I suspect the outcome was predetermined a long time ago, much like the Sylvan/Fortress poll. It does not take much to alter a poll to show the result you wanted if you are the one who put it there.

Actually, balance was a lot more opposed to fury than strength was, [sarcasm]because a giant 30 m tall magic walking tree isn't good enough to be champion[/sarcasm]

It's not that this was my first choice (I will cry after those Unicorns), but at least I'll get the only "new" unit I was interested in: Moon Doe/Sun Deer.
And, maybe finally will get some new info, cause this voting thing dragged for far too long (I hope next votes won't take so long).

I need to indulge my feelings for a moment. I need to echo my disappointment. I feel like everything I have ever loved about Sylvan has been taken away.
Of course these are just my feelings. I am not masquerading them as anything else.
I am genuinely afraid that what could have been one of my favorite factions in H7 will now one be one of my least favorites. Of course I will try to keep an open mind once the finished product is out... but for now I am genuinely afraid.
I will really miss the units that will no longer be included. I really wanted the Emerald Warrior to be in. I absolutely loved the Root Snake. Of course I wanted the Unicorn or Phoenix. And in all honesty, I despise the deer.
The Fury line-up does not speak to me at all.
I am not saying that it can't speak to others.
I am not saying that Fury voters have ruined Sylvan.
I am not saying that Fury voters are not real fans.
I know that those kinds of statements can be infuriating and I'm not saying any of that. My intention is not to antagonize anyone. I only want to express my own feelings, my own personal disappointment. I was really looking forward to playing as Sylvan and now all I feel is deep disappointment.

I hope they assemble a Sylvan faction page with proper concept art soon enough.
Also, that they would stop beating around the bush and finish up the Haven page. They've revealed all the units in the Armies of Light previews, so I see no reason to not post them to the faction page.

Finally, some voice of reason among this madness. I have voted for Strength and sure, I will miss Unicorns as "soldiers", but it does nort mean that 'All is lost'. I know, loss is painful and evokes some rather dirty feelings but thankfully, after each one people are stronger (I know it from personal experience). Limbic knows how to make good factions (Dungeon, in terms of gameplay, was the only faction in which I felt that there was a distinction between playing Might & Magic hero), so they will for sure come up with some nice ideas how to pander to tastes of majority of Heroes players.

I wonder... if Griffins are to be campaign-specific units for Haven, perhaps Unicorns will be campaign-specific for Sylvan?

That'd be something. But unless that is an essential part of the story, I wouldn't bet on it.

Limbic did not make that expansion, Virtuous did. Limbic was working on M&M X at the time.

Agreed.
Also the fact that Sylvan will have two spirit-airy-fairy-pudding-and-mary creatures in core line-up.
