I loooove the look of the new Academy but they really need to upgrade the size of the Djinn and Golem, they shouldn't be smaller than Crossbowmen:/

What's so unimpressive? Haven't you heard of welding?
I think it's not impressive because it means Gremlins with a different name and form, but basically the exact same creature. It's not original when you reskin something so you don't look like you're doing the same (while that's what's happening), I would've prefered Gremlins comming back on that role instead of getting the same role on a different guy.
NamelessOrder said: if you do the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Konami_Code on creature animations like this https://mmh7.ubi.com/en/factions/haven/creatures/cavalier you're gonna see waiting animations of the units - pretty nice although H6 were more creative imo (at least some of them - i dont see them all)
marksman has a funny one
Hey I just checked them and they're funny... but then I wonder how they have budget for random stuff but they don't have budget for extra factions or 3d town screens...

Actually, the thing that struck me most about the notion of the Cabir being fire spirits (and thus being immune to fire magic) was "If the Armageddon spell comes back, and it comes back as a fire spell... well, so long, Black Dragons! I don't need you anymore!"
It's not that I don't like them, I actually do but the whole repair constructs things is so unnesecarry.
And yeah, fire immune spirits are exactly what the game needs. That's part of why I wanted the efreet back. As unfair in multiplayer the suicide armageddonist is, it is a valuable strategy anf fire immune creatures make it more viable.

Quick question: can anyone post or link me to the picture of the Cabir render with a "No, stopping touching me! I am the night!" style caption? I know someone made something like that, but I'm having trouble finding it.

Well, basically every single creature there was in Heroes 2/3/4/5/6 was an old existing creature fro ma previous game with same abilities but with a different skin and name ... We should just all play H1 and ignore the sequels.

Didnt they also say that the lineup vote for either dungeon or inferno would change? First we vote out one of three alternatives and then vote again, between the remaining two.
Thats good.

Marzhin what about the tavern?
1) Will we get random heroes there?
2) I suppose only first two heroes of the week are with army and only one native hero.
3) Cost of heroes should be fixed like in h3 or increase from 2500 to 5000 - not more.

I must say I am most pleased about something quite simple:
The bird's eye view from above can go further out so to view more of the main map....very cool, I always wanted to view more in previous Heroes games.

We didn't ask about heroes' specializations and their improvement per hero level, like in h5 and h3. i am dreading the h6 ones. Generic as hell.
Marzhin will we Have more meaningful specializations?

If anything, this whole Cabir thing tells me one thing and one thing I am exceptionally glad about.
Cabir =/= Lizardman ! That means that those saying that Cabir was simply a Lizardman with a stupid name were wrong, though I'm not sure anymore if anyone here said such a thing.
Another thing has dawned on me, but this is pure speculation.
So Cabir are fire-spirits who are summoned to do the Golem/Gargoyle repair for the Wizards who cannot be bothered to do so, right. But some people here say that this was the Gremlin's job and that Gremlins were better.
So I got thinking, perhaps, and this is just me speculating, perhaps each of the different Wizard Houses has different servants to do the mundane engineering for them. Since the use of Golems and Gargoyles and such is pretty normal among all Wizard Houses, but only House Materia specialises in creating such constructs, that leaves Houses Anima and Chimera without the knowledge to repair their constructs. So perhaps the summoners of Anima summon the Cabir to do the repair work, whereas the Crimson Wizards of Chimera created Gremlins for this task.

Indeed.
Lizardmen do exist in Ashan. They're mentioned in a couple of H6 hero bios.

I know, that's why I'm glad. That still leaves open the possibility of the return of a H3 Style Lizardman Swamp Faction after the Coming of the Dark Messiah.
Marzhin, may I ask about my other theory, with the Gremlins and the Cabir serving the same function in different Wizard Houses, or confirmation that the Gremlins have been retconned out?
