Here's my train of thought:
The Blade Dancer/Master has a mysterious smile, as if he's anything but afraid of his opponent. No matter what will come at him, his calm, yet not totally expressionless face does not betray any feelings of powerlessness. He knows his duty, and that is to serve Sylanna and the Elven King until death reaches its icy hand out to him to claim him for the afterlife.
The Moon Doe appears like it will deal some sort of Prime damage when it attacks, just like the Phoenixes of H6 and their Moonfire Aura. Naturally, the Sun Deer will inflict Light Damage, and should be able to blind the enemy (like Unicorns were once able to do in previous installments). If Prime Damage cannot be healed like in H6, Moon Doe(s) might actually be more useful then they seem at first sight.
The Druids. Beauty of Irollan incarnate! The sight of them makes the eyes want nothing more. It's good to see the silver hair again, both with the Druid Elder and the Blade Master. If only we had brown and red as well, we'd have a haircolor festivity in Sylvan  . I suppose that's where the Heroes kick in.
Anyway, the Druid Elder's staff is of course a weapon of magic, but it has a blade-like appearance just as much. Being an elf, she will most likely be able to use her staff for some next-level melee fight if the need should arise. But she's likely going to avoid melee to unleash the forest's most deadly secrets upon the enemies before her.
The Blade Dancer's smile is a bit funny, does remind one of H4's Leprechaun. Yet it has a mysterious touch to it, almost like that of the Mona Lisa. Why is he smiling? Is he confident? Is he genuinly happy? What lies behind the face of his powerful warrior? His eyes betray nothing, his blade speaks...

I wouldn't agree here. If they offered a new unit, it should be brand new, not a re-skinned unicorn, don't you think?

Blinding is something that would make the most sense judging by its looks, imo. It could however also provide a cleansing aura or any other Light Magic-related abilities. It's not the real Unicorn, but devs could reuse a Unicorn's ability to compensate here and there...
Lore-wise: is the Sun Deer sacred to Elrath?

About the sylvan troops:
Hunter... Meh... It's an archer, not really hunter. would've been a lot better without armor. It should also have fairly unified color scheme being simple hunter and to help blend to surroundings. The upgrade would look great IMO if they took the armor off, but even as is for once the upgrade is better than basic form.
Dryad seems rather uninspiring. Hardly any difference between basic and upgrade. I'm guessing it gets recycled model from mermaid. Seems very mediocre to me.
Pixie, Hate it. Way too colorful for my taste. I'd rather see more down to earth colors for faction like sylvan. Even worse is that the unit has ghost model recycled.
Necromancer looks quite good, but colors could be darker. Much better than previous necromancer model!(that seriously was my first reaction!) The unit looks seriously evil and angry, not somebody who lives as one with nature. Don't like it as druid at all. I wonder if it gets model from the sister...
Deer Basic model looks about as unnatural (abomination)as it possibly can, hate it. Upgrade looks better, just get rid of the mini-sun and give it very faint glow if any and it would be quite good. Definitely doesn't feel or look like strong elite.
Dancer is just plain bad. 2nd form is some weird pervert who's decorated with as much miscellaneous crap as devs could fit there. Heck, I like h5 blade-dancer much more than h7 and that was only unit I disliked in h5 sylvan...

Absolutely love it! Both basic and upgraded version. One of my favorite elites so far.
Dancer:
Simply no  He looks clumsy and un-acrobatic. The voting art was a proper idea of a blade dancer elf... not this. And the face he is making... too creepy...

What do you think of the Dungeon faction in general (not just H7), Stevie? Do you like it? Do you play it often? I really like it in H3 and H5.

Are the sketches better looking than the actual artwork or is it just me?
Also in the sketches the elves still look young, not like the artwork that are made to look older in the upgrades...
PS: The Druid has green eyes, not green glow.

Yeah, concepts are deffo better which bodes well. Except for the druid. because heels.
