What do you guys think about "Sir Mullich"? Is he really that overpowered to ban him? Same for Lord Haart is he worth leveling at all compared to the flat +350gold bonus from other heros?

I don't like Sir Fakebeard and yes I think he is overpowered, he would probably have been fine with +1 speed, but +2 is too much.
I do like Lord Haart though, he becomes a walking gold mine at level 20, which could be good at impossible difficulty. But whether it's worth it to use a skill and a speciality for Estates is up to you. He might not be the best castle hero, but he is certainly more interesting than Fakebeard imo.

Sir mulich is OP because he can also be hired by other factions. In a mirror match you are faster and almost guaranteed to strike first and win with mullich

I watched some E3 conferences, the last couple of days and wondered why HotA crew was'nt present in any of them. JK, but I would like that update or at least an update on when we can expect an update soon...

Mullich can be hired by other heroes? I don't understand that sentence... Mirrormatch means another Mullich?
As for Haart, I think his special could be a lil more, compared to the other solid +350g heros, you still need to level him if you want that money, while a passive 350 is stable income on random hero without leveling in town

Well +350 gold heroes are better than Estates heroes (Except for a high level Lord Haart)
Maybe Estates could be changed from 125/250/500 to 250/375/500?
I think he meant Sir Fakebeard could be recruited by other factions, Necropolis for example, giving them 16 in top speed instead of 14, thereby having greater initiative. Castle will go from 18 to 20 which does'nt get them initiative faster, but still makes all units faster.

I guess the only update is that there is no update. Chill out, it will come when it has to. There's plenty of options to kill time in the meantime

Am I correct in believing that the custom campaign editor for HotA is not operational, or is there a way to make custom campaigns which I am simply unaware of?

the HOTA team indeed called it isn't activte yet, but will in the future likely

A shame. I would have liked to put together a custom campaign. I imagine others would, as well. Hopefully they can get to it soon. It's a pretty small application.

I might be mistaken but I believe the HotA team used hex editing at first to make their campaigns. Maybe that's why they are yet to release a functional campaign editor.
I know that was the case with their maps at first. They used WoG-editor and then added Cove heroes and such through hex editing.

Sir Mullich should have only +1 speed and then he would be good to go.
And yes, States should have more power... and States heroes are really really bad. Even if at higher levels they could give good gold, it is very hard to level them as they have States instead of a useful skill.

Thats what I was thinking myself aswell for Estates, I'm not quite sure about Mullich, granted +2 is much, but maybe it could come down to +1 for lvl 1-15 and +2 speed lvl 16+ since there are still artifacts to buff speed, more or less it's a superior version of haste 'coz you can't dispell or counter it with slow. Granted it's powerful but thats Offense, Archery, Armorer, Resistance or Logistics as specialty aswell.

I was thinking the same, Mullich should start with plus one to speed and at mythical levels make walking dead attack first then phoenixes with Cape of Velocity, Necklace of Swiftness and Ring of Wayfarer. That would be the hero to play in very demanding maps.

Question for HotA Crew:
Is it possible, or have you considered an option for MapEditor to "create" new hero specialities? Or at very least make some premade specialities ready to be chosen in custom maps?
This thread got me thinking about it. The formula for creature and skill specialists is always the same (excluding Conflux heroes), so I think it wouldn't be such a bad idea to give more options for map makers. I'm no programmer, but this kind of thing appears to me as pretty simple for you to implement. I mean, you've already made Cove heroes...

I know that native additional towns mechanism is your triumph card which you are too greedy to share with other modders.
But could you perhaps share just a way how to make more heroes availible in game? gently please :|
