Yeah, thank spider messiah. I'm tempted to somehow obtain H7 and test it, but I don't want that garbage on my pc. So, enjoy in H7 along with it's bugs and fails, and blindly defend it. The world will continue to turn, and people will forget this game, and it seems, the whole franchise.

Unfortunately the majority of PC games developers seem to be covinced about it. That's just because the speed this field evolves is too high.
I don't like it either, the fact I'm playing on 5 years old laptop confirms that.

Please read my post again  I said test it, not try it . I've already tried it, but not on my pc. And saying that something is with a memory leak when it does have memory leak, is not bashing

No, you specifically called the game crap. If for you memory leaks account to a product being crap, ok good on you I guess.

The product that is 11 months old, and still has memory leaks is crap I can tell that as a programmer. Anything else is laughable

Wait what?? Source please. I would love that. The game is plenty of fun already and it can get so much better if they fix the things that can be fixed (bugs, memory leak etc.)

Though I don’t agree that one can have an informative opinion of a game he is not playing, but I can at least remotely comprehend statements like “the gameplay is utter crap” from posters who played only the beta or watched youtube play-throughs or just read about it. But I can’t even remotely comprehend claims of critical performance issues from those who don’t play the game after relevant patches which claim to fix issues. This really makes some posters ridiculous and the whole HC forum loses credibility regarding it being an objective or at least relevant source of information.
JJ: I recall reading in the patch-notes that the random skill saving bug is fixed in version 2.1 and not 2.0. Did you check 2.1?

Actually this hotfix didn't help, some people are still experiencing losing skills issue. Fortunately I haven't experienced this issue at all so far but that might be because I don't load/save much often.
But I got angry yesterday when I spent 5 skillpoints for Doggwoggle's luck skill and perks to find out consequently in the Buglist that this skill does not work at all if you learn Deadly strike /sure I did before.

Exactly my thoughts.
Also I would like to see Sanctuary which will never appear in H7 so it's not so important for me (I don't like inferno much, and why to get another fire expansion? It would not make any sense).

It's not just the fact that the game has memory leaks, it's the fact that the game still has memory leaks 11 months after release. The major bugs should have been squashed so hard now, they've become two-dimensional.
As an aside, I have a rig that's passing the 5 year mark next month and so far the only thing I upgraded about it has been the video card (went from nVidia GTX 560 to nVidia GTX 670). I use an i7 Intel Core (double quad core) at 3.4 GHz with 8 gbyte RAM and the game runs relatively well. With relative, I mean acceptable, but far from stellar. But I admit I haven't touched the game in more than half a year now, so maybe the performance has indeed improved. I can't tell, since the game simply doesn't have such a strong appeal to me as for instance Heroes 3 has.

Seriously though, not only the game has obviously been coded by students and I'd even think interns, why would a TBS need a power machine is beyond me, again look at AoW3's requirements and loading times, h7 in comparison is laughable.

Well it's unlikely but getting another xpack would be nice. The more development H7 gets, the better.
I dont agree with the milking-the-dead-cow memes though. If they were making an H8 who was 99% H7 i'd agree but xpacks are arguably "milking so you can pay back the cow food" lol
