Not sure about the Blood Furies vs Blood Sisters upgrade makes sense. I give up +2 Initiative and +1 speed to get 25% magic proof and +3 HP? It was a lot harder choice when Blood Sisters had the extra speed point, but now I think I would take Blood Furies all the time. I guess it is all up in the air now that speed is discounted with the larger battle maps.

the +1 speed is not a big deal, you often have to move before you can reach the other side anyway. At the same time +3Hp and 25% mp, are almost 50% extra durability against magic attacks in comparison to the blood furies.

Playtesting Beta 6 with a small sample size/qualitative observations (take them for what its worth)... Some of these may be observations from prior patches as I haven't had time to keep up with all the updates.
Here are my qualitative observations from a creeping week 1-3 Impossible perspective:
1. Triple ballista warmachine heroes feel like they play the best. They are not limited by mana and can simply power through maps with minimal armies. Minasli is at the top of this list due to Artificial Glory and Academy ranged units. Guessing Wulfstan and Duncan are really good as well.
2. Mixed Light Magic/Might heroes feel like they come in second. The Regeneration on Level 6/7 blocker still works fine. Of course, getting Regeneratoin at mage guild is no guarantee thanks to Master of Life nerf, but it is still a creeping game changer for a level 3 spell.
3. Dark Magic Might heroes come in next for me. They are still desperately dependent on War Machines->Tent for Furies, Hell Hounds etc... but the late game Dark magic payoff is good.
I like your idea of giving Eternal Servitude the ability to permamanently ressurect a % of level 2 units. I think this idea could be developed further to give an alternative path to War Machines->Tent and not just be limited to level 2 units. Raise Dead with Necromancy makes sense as a Dark Magic alternative to Light Regeneration and Ressurection.
4. Destruction/Summoning heroes have fallen greatly in power. First, they lost 50%->33% damage artifats, then the hp buff, and nerfs to certain overpowered spells (like cirlce of winter) have really hurt them. Still playable.. and probably where they need to be.
5. Retaliation strike tank builds are about the same. Ingvar, of course, has been nerfed, but it is much slower now since you have to wait to build level 5-6 units before you can get going (Deep Hydra, Ancient Treants, Foul Wyvern).

Does the casual setting for custom maps still exist? It mentions it in the tooltip help but I can see the setting anywhere. I'm not particularly hardcore and the ai always seems to have way stronger armies everytime I meet it on big maps.

Hi, as a french player, I'm trying to translate some english files. I have an issue concerning the skillwheel avaiable ingame, when you select your hero. Faction names are displayed in french, but classes aren't, so I'm looking for a way to translate it. What file should I find?

Hey there!
You need to translate the files in the "numbered folders" under "MMH55-Texts-EN.pak/UI/Doc/SkillWheel/Classes"
The non-numbered folders are deprecated and are no longer in use.
Also, for Creaturepedia, you need to translate files under "MMH55-Texts-EN.pak/UI/Doc/Creaturepedia"

Hi I'd like a little help with the Witch Huts matter in Tables.lua
I've re-named all the Heroes back to their old names (Warden, Seer, etc...) and appropriately itemized all the tables and put all the Heroes into their correct slots, yet in-game the Witch Huts only function as in Vanilla H5 when I do this. I can't seem to find any syntax errors, so unless the Tables.lua references something else I'm missing, I'm not sure where the problem is.
Care to take a quick look?

@Gidoza: looks to me script crash entirely, what I recommend, if the debugger cannot give you a hint, comment all sections you touched with notepad++, then reactivate them one by one, trying to find the section that causes scripts to crash.

What's puzzling me is that it's a copy-paste of the old version's Witch Hut script, which works perfectly when loaded in the previous version. Hmmm.

So ive noticed how that "icon/star/circle" under heroes and monsters on the adventure map is sort of lagging on my PC (low framerate or something). On my laptop which is sort of weaker it doesnt lag like that at all. Any idea how to fix or what the problem is? I dont think this is 5.5 problem, but I would really like to know the problem.
Everything else seems OK.

In these threads they explains the exact problem that I have. Is this something @magnomagus could fix in 5.5? I mean it would be nice to actually get a fix for this instead of limiting ram down to 3 gb for whole pc. I have 32 gb of ram on the "low framerate pc", but on my laptop with 16 ram it does work as intended.

Sadly none of those fixes the problem for me. I tried it. The weird part is that most "animations" work properly. Its only "water/goo", "trees" and circle under the units and heroes that lags.
I had hoped the blurry texture fix would have workded, but sadly no.
This is one of those QOL fixes I would really want to see in this mod. Of course you have nothing to go on except what actually happens in my game. And those two threads I posted.
EDIT: I have not tried the 3bg limitation fix so unsure if it would work. BUT I really dont want to limit my PC since I use about 12 gb on a daily basis WHILE playing.

@magnomagus - So regarding the Witch Hut issue - I fixed it. Or rather, it seems to have fixed itself and started working. For some reason.
Different question entirely - Summon Hive - does the Hive's Wasp Swarm spell cost mana from the Hero? I feel like I never noticed this before. Is there any way to differentiate the Hive's Wasp Swarm casting from the Hero's so that the Hive's always costs 0 and can go on ad infinitum?

That is how it works in ToE. What you want is hardcodded in the exe 100% so not possible unfortunately.

Hi, I've a new issue, but now on my GF laptop. After a copy/paste from a laptop to another, with USB stick, I got a weird issue : there's no text displayed in-game on the new laptop
I wanted to know if there was a solution, instead of reinstalling

Are you certain you carried over all the game files?
I do copy installations from one directory to another sometimes and with no issues. So what you have is weird.
