Armageddon Inferno exclusive?
What will the followers of Arkath say to that?

I'm also in favour of giving the Inferno faction some perks against fire magic, I always found it confusing just how deadly a well placed firespells were against creatures that are themselves literally on fire.

Pre-Ashan not so. The only fire-based Kreegan was the Efreet.
EDIT: Does Armageddon do 50% less damage against water-based creatures?

Fantastic, although it doesn't hold a candle to H2, H4 and H5's vanilla themes.
What I'm trying to say is: It's far from terrible but it sounds kinda... bland.

Bear in mind Imps were birthed in firey crucibles in HoMMIII and Gogs actually used fire as their primary form of attack.
So there were 3 Kreegan Demons that were very much fire based.
Arguably the Devils as well, as they tended to teleport in blasts of flame and ash.
Also, wasn't the Efreet not Kreegan at all but a native?

Not to worry, demons have an innate fire resistance though I'm not sure if it's a percentage or bonus magic defense against fire. I'd bet on the latter. Also I think we are through with the fire damage spells

The Fiery Crucible could be a place of torture, and the Gogs simply use fire magic
The Efreet being natives I know nothing about.
Note that by "fire-based" I mean literally being on/made of fire.

the main theme doesn't sound entirely new to me, why is that? I've definitely heard some snippets before, maybe in some previous videos?
As for armageddon belonging to fire school, I do think at least some other ultimates will be affiliated to certain magic schools too, most probably as following:
Demons fire (armageddon, confirmed)
Undead dark (curse of the netherworld)
Naga water, maybe air (tsunami, monsoon)
Orcs earth and air (mother earth's blessing, father sky's wrath)
Humans light (word of light, maybe divine justice)
all these ultimates belong to magic heroes, where magic schools are a must anyway. Might abilities are most likely not associated with any elements
Quote: Also I think we are through with the fire damage spells
Whaaaaat? No firewall, fire shield, fire trap?
I do hope to see Sacrifice back, it was a very interesting spell.

Goglings, Gogs and Magogs are immune to fire in H3's accompanying M&M game (7th).
Same was for Devil Workers, Captains and Warriors which were Kreegans as well.
Can't remember if there were any other Kreegan units.
But Heroes was more concerned about inter-factional balance than its RPG game counterparts, where such immunities are only flavor and never balance breaker.

About Blood And Tears Theme: That's an extremely beautiful theme. I love bossoon. And Romero uses it very nicely.
And about that Fire Storm: I find this spell very boring. I mean, we already have fireball with 3x3 area effect. Now that with 5x5 area effect. Next is a spell with 7x7 area effect? They could make a more original spell instead.

kinda had that feeling too. it was the same in H4 with a lot of fire destructive spells, while the only ice one sucked.
I guess other destructive elemental spells will just work differently. lightning spells will have chain effects, ice spells will have a ring shape and earth spell will be insanely powerful single target spells??

Hmmm... A new track released out of the blue? What a pleasant surprise! Pity I can't check it out just yet... Oh well.
Also, why doesn't it surprise me, that according to Elvin, it pays a little homage to the H2 Sorceress theme?
*One Theme to floor them all,
one Theme to remind them,
one Theme to captivate them all,
While it to Ashan guides them!*
(Hehe, Just kidding, I think it's a great little Easter Egg for the fans. Love that Theme. )
*Note to self: Poem could still be better, to be fixed in future edit(s)*

The Efreeti, the Cerberi and the Gogs are native to Enroth (the Efreeti come from the Plane of Fire to be precise), they are not Kreegans. There is a minor uncertainty about the Demons and the Pit Fiends - who are most likely Kreegans - and not so minor about the Imps. The Devils are 100% Kreegans.
By the way in Might and Magic the Kreegans are immune to fire.

Ah, found where I've heard the main theme before! here
with this occasion I did some extensive listening to all relevant MMH6 videos on YT and discovered some more song snippets
for instance, in the haven animation video there is a battle song (heard it in 2 battle videos)
anyway, is there a chance to see some fire elementals if we get the summon spell this week? On screenshot day? Pls?

Finally managed to listen to the theme, and while it won't be legendary, it is very good indeed. Somehow, it reminds me of some tracks from H4 and H5 as well,(Don't remember the titles, maybe I'll do a search later) while still sounding new enough, so I guess it's bi-winning
Spells look good so far, I hope fire ones won't be as tame compared to the others as in H3.

Exactly the kind of response I was hoping for from our resident Kreegan expert.
Thanks for clearing that up.
I actually thought the Gogs were a type of Kreegan as well (bearing in mind I'm wholey unversed in the M&M RPGs other then what I pick up from guys who are... like just now) because of their similar shape to Devils and Pit Fiends. (roughly humanoid, spikey and brown to reddish skin.)
