Eh, still a university snow, Fauch.
I have a few good friends, but in exam periods it's awful. I die inside. I am a very needy person on a social level. If I can't see a good friend once every week, then eveything sucks and I want to slaughter everyone, it's ridiculous. I also made myself unpopular with some superficial friends recently. I don't care much about them, but Slavistics is such a small group that it's noticeable in a very irritating way when you have a falling out with some people over trivial stuff.

That is the most crazy thing I've ever heard about sex... other than the number of times kids have asked me if you can get pregnant by swallowing... But this sounds like a different thread.
@ Fauch - I do agree that if she doesn't want to meet in RL than it is probably a lost cause (at least for now). Like I said before - let her chase you.
Speaking of downhill times - I've just been quarunteened for a week with whooping cough for my last week of holidays  Not Happy!

right now, it seems she doesn't want. it seems weird to me that we would have been talking for 2 years, and talking about meeting for a whole year, if it never interested her. why would she lose her time with me then?
what do you mean, let her chase me? I'm bored most of the time. no school, and I work alone, so I like to talk with her whenever I get a chance, even if I absolutely don't know about what talking.
she seems quite disillusioned about men right now. she began entering the phase "all men are snow". well, if she finds no one, maybe she gets back to me. now, I don't think I'm the best man, but I highly doubt she is going to find anyone else who is able to wait 2 years and ready to travel 5000 kms.

I know what it's like to be bored! Is there anything you could get involved in where you live? Have you ever wanted to learn an instrument? There must be some kind of club or something that you could get involved with to socialise with people in RL. Sometimes you just gotta make yourself get out there. There is more of a chance that she will chase you if you are out meeting new people and doing fun things with your life (not that this should be the motivation), or you might make some friends to hang out with instead

well yeah, I've thought about joining clubs. I found a few activities, but that's still only a couple of hours per week. most of the time I'm alone. and to make it worse, most of the clubs where I live seem to be frequented by people who are least 20 years older than me in average.

yeah of course, and if I make her jealous maybe. though she isn't even very interesting herself. just the average teenager who wants to go partying as soon as she starts getting bored and is extremly concerned about how she looks (ok, it's not like I would complain about it ). but I know she isn't really that superficial, I'm sure she would be more interesting if she didn't seem so disatisfied about her life.

Why? The younger you are, the more powerful the amazement is from pretty much anything. don't tell me you would actually be so amazed by the same game when you were 10 and now I know there weren't any computer games around when you were ten but, you know
I was completely mesmerized by games as kid, it was almost magical when my dad brought me a 286. Never will forget how absolutely blissful I was  As I grew older, it was more and more "regular". Now games are fun but they just aren't the same amazing feeling.Like many other things. I kinda think enthusiasm drops year by year. You just can't get amazed like a kid when you're 25 anymore, well, most of the time.
That's why I'd say, get in love when you're still young, it will feel really powerful, in that special teen-enthusiastic way You'll at least have fun memories for the rest of your life.

lol true. you don't get far without motivation. I remember the threads from doomforge, I think, when he was like, I need to stop playing games and start doing X because it is very important for my life.
the problem is that often, such decisions come not from the observation of your own life and desires but from the observation of other people life and what they think about you and your life.
