After ToE, nothing has a chance against dungeon
empowered meteors/implosion/armageddon combined with invisibility decoys.
attack with 20 invisible tier 1s seperated into 7 stacks, and you will get at least three casts with no enemy response.
flee/surrender
attack with decoys again or with real army to finish off. mana should not be a problem, since a level 15+ warlock should have at least 120 mana, with empowered spell costs reduced into single digits. meteors should hit at least 1k (that's minimum). there are times when lv 15s with the right artifacts may be able to pull off 2k+ with empowered meteors...
therefore, attacking dungeon territory would be near impossible.
attacking with the dungeon faction would also be extremely successful due to town teleport and summon creatures (from towns)
the only even match for dungeon would probably be stronghold (with shatter destructive)
but a warlock could simply take up summoning...so i can hardly see another faction victorious against a pro dungeon player.

I have no favourite faction, but I have a faction I really hate.
Maybe it's possible to remove one vote for fortress ?

Sylvan for me.
Some people talk of their favorite faction as if it started with 5k gold, 2 rare resources gain per day.
Or that the computer normally obliges certain factions by making all neutrals in their area slow moving, low initiative monsters.
Or that xp stones, chests, and knowledge bonus structures are commonplace in every map.

Inferno for me, in general I find the creature's looks to reflect the setting of the faction. LOVE the inside look of thier Castle, brimstone sky and all!

That, and its being the most exciting faction to play. Come lategame it sweeps through other sides almost too easily.

Only if the opponent does not know how to play them Can be strong enough though, not the pushover it was in the beginning.

Voted Sylvan.
They are the most powerful side in the game, bar none. Even though the sprites are weak and the town requires a lot of wood, crystal and gems, the arcane archers, druids, emerald/crystal dragons and treants will make short work of any enemy of comparable size that ever dares cross their path (only Black Dragons and bloodraged cyclopes pose any serious threat).
And Rangers are not worthless heroes. Gilraen, Ossir and Ylthin are very good heroes to begin with. Heck, even Anwen is great too.
Dungeon is a very close second though.

Personally, I like the orcs the most. But from the list I have here, I'm going to have to say sylvan. Rain of arrows + Imbue arrows = death, and then you have the G-moded imbue balista with tripple shot, flaming arrow, the spell ice bolt, expert destructive magic and then cold death... I've cut a stack of 20 arch angels in half with that combo...

My choice is Academy cuz they hav the best music and after all I think that Rakshas are the Best lvl 6 creatures

My 3 favourites:
Dungeon, Fortress, Stronghold
Dungeon: very easy to creep with Stalkers and non flying furies
Fortress: Huge Defense, OP runes, Dracageddon with Ignite
Stronghold: Super Ballista, Very fast on adventure map, blood rage reducing damage taken and give units more power.
