It did, RSF put an amazing amount of time and effort into this. Just to clarify:
HC April's Fool Events 2007
* Launch of ADAM, the RoboMod, which was of course a fake, which most of you figured out pretty soon. 
* Move of Mods Spam thread to the Volcanic Wastelands.
* Dishing out of random penalties and deleting QP's in the days up to the event - sorry to William and Aculias, who got to be the but end of that joke, they will of course be given back, but that was part of the whole event.
* General discussion between Moderators about Mod behaviour in the light of above, which was all a scam.
* Move of thread Current Thingies to the Volcanic Wastelands. Thread is a complete scam, made up to cause commotion among the users. Again, sorry to a couple of old-timers who got to be the but of the joke.
Some of you may not have liked the joke - perhaps it was going too far, but that's hard to tell in advance. The team tried to come up with something that would make people actually believe it, maybe we ended up going too far in our attempts to do so.

And what ever happened to my "WoG Town Contest" thread, was that deleted or was it moved, because of a lead up to this whole thing?

Eh - good question. I think maybe Val did that as a way of making the joke seem more believable, but I hope he will put me back on the team.

And of course no scripting has ever been made for ADAM 
April's fools Been fun to watch people switch back and forth between thinking whether it's a joke or not But surely not you, you knew it all along

Well, I guess it's time I come clean as well:
1.) All the smack I talked about the members in current thingies 5 was in fact BS...it's actually much worse in the Mod Squad.
2.) Since it was all a joke, I take back my 'sorrys' and 'apologies' n00bs
3.) I'm not leaving...well not yet anyway. So deal with it. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA...etc.
4.) We could have made the ADAM prank much worse. My original idea involved a partner in crime for ADAM known as Mod.exe
5.) And last but not least OMG CHECK THIS OUT:
lolz to teh n00bs. w00tnees to the extreme for me....oh yeah and I'm taking all those +QP's away. I might just leave the penalties though

Most of the other stuff, ADAM and that was pretty easy to see through but I never would have guessed impact..
