Overlord dismounts and his steed runs off in a split of a second. The mighty knight walks restless from side to side, unable and unwanting to calm himself before the battle... yet once in a while he sneaks a quick peek at the girl which makes him even more restless.

Darkblade just looks at Varjo. "Great, our leader is a psycho."
Suddenly the portal opens and a horde of demons of all shapes and sizes poor forth. Houndlike, Scorpian like, and giant manbats are the first wave.

Ename is startled out of his meditation.
Such diversity! I must study these in more detail some time...
Ename banishes all shadow and darkness from the area (literally, only light sources, not evil demons). He merely feels uncomfortable in the newly bright light; he hopes the demons suffer more substantial effects (blinding, burning?).

The manbat like creatures become dissoriented and deffinately the light hurts them. The hounds and the scorpian ones are unaffected. Darkblade and the others engage several of the creatures, while Rev builds up speed. Rose wraps a couple of the scorpian ones in vines, and Bear slams into one of the Hound ones and you hear a sickening crunch. The hound does not get back up.
Meanwhile the horsemen have arrived, as has Luci..and 6 of the biggest ugliest demons yet. 12' high each, with shoulders as broad as Bears ((the npc, who has some really broad shoulders)). Bat wings, red skinned, huge claws that look unsanitary and drips a black ichor.

Jorn calls for the holy light and hit's the Ice with it.
Which cause all the ice light up and glows brightly.
"everyone be on your guard."
Jorn rushes the horsemen.
Battling them with a firce passion for life.
One of Horsemen knocks Jorn onto the ground which is covered with snow.
He smiles.
jorn rolls in the snow making sure not to get hit.
He grabs is amulet from around his neck and Blesses the snow.

Ovelord, who slashed a few hounds earlier, laughed when the big demons arrived.
"YOU TAKE CARE OF THE SMALL ONES!" He shouted to Rose and Bear, "I'M GOING FOR THE REAL DEAL!"
And with that he lit up his sword with fire and rushed into demon group with a deafening roar.

The blessing of the snow (which in effect makes it semi frozen holy water) weakens the creatures substantially. It does not effect the main 5 threats, but the others are deffinately hurting. With ename's drawing the shadows away they are weaker still. The group is able to cut through them easily. The large demons, known as Pit Feinds, are another story altogether.
They and death start advancing on the boy. One of them is confronted by Overlord, but the others ignore him and continue on their path.
Shyft races up to Varjo. "Whatever you can do to cause a distraction, do it. I don't care if you have to strip Darkblade to get their attention. I just need 1 minute. Buy me 1 lousy minute."

Darkblade laughs and jumps in front of the boy. "We warriors need none of your tricks! Come Varjo, we will charge into the lions mouth!" and that is exactly what she does. She engages one of the other Pit Fiends. Fate calmly steps out and her eyes go white and her hair raises as if a powerful wind is coming from under her.
"Colois Arcani Feras!" she exclaims. Varjo and Darkblade are covered in a white aura, and the demons shrieik in pain when Darkblade nears them.
You see shyft get near the boy..and you know what he/she is planning. A huge distraction will be needed...a huge huge one.

The Overlord ran into the Pit Fiend smashing him into the ground with a powerful blow of his sword. However, when the Pit Fiend stood back up, he barely had a scratch on him. The demon was much stronger than the Overlord originally thought... to his great delight. Laughing, the black knight raised his sword again, but before he could bring it down the demon's claws hit his body from the side. The black armor withstood the blow, but Overlord was still sent flying a few meters to the side. As he rose back up, he saw the Pit Fiend fly into the sky and dive straight into him. In the last second the black knight managed to block the strike with his sword, but the sheer power of the blow sent him back on the ground. Before he could even think of what to do next, the demon dived on him again, but Overlord managed to roll away instinctively. Finally, the Overlord managed to stand up and assume a fighting stance before the demon's next attack. This time he was ready, just as the demon was about to hit him from above, the black knight kneeled down under the deomn's claws and plunged his sword upwards into the red belly. A horrifying roar shaked the earth as the blade's concentrated attack managed to pierce the demon's skin. Angered and bleeding, the Pit Fiend flew a few meters away and landed. Grinning under his helm, the Overlord stood ready again, awaiting the next attack, but instead of rushing his opponent the demon raised his hands forward mumbling something in an unkown language and suddenly four fireballs emerged from his hands and flew straight into the Overlord. He managed to dodge one, blocked another with his sword, but the remaining two hit him in the chest, exploded and threw him on the ground. The Overlord layed still for a second as his heated armor melted the snow around him. Then he rose and said:
"YOU UNDERSTAND THAT YOU CANNOT DEFEAT ME IN A FAIR FIGHT, SO YOU RESERVE TO TRICKS? VERY WELL, I WANTED TO GRANT YOU A HONOURABLE DEFEAT, BUT IF YOU DON'T WANT IT, LET'S DO IT YOUR WAY."
With that said, the Overlord raised his sword and charged into the demon. He put up his sword in front of him, deflecting all fireballs sent to his chest and head. While the ones that hit his hands and shoulders slowed him down and almost threw him off balance, they couldn't stop him. He ran up to the demon and smashed his sword into the evil being, sending him to the ground again, only this time the Overlord didn't wait for the Pit Fiend to get back up. He stomped on him to hold him down for a few seconds, lit his sword on fire as hot as he could and circled it around the demon a few times. The snow, into which the demon fell, melted and turned into pure holy water hurting his back and greatly weakening him. Before the demon could get loose and regain his strength the Overlord raised his sword in a vertical position and lowered it with all his might piercing the demon's throat. The Pit Fiend's body moved in pain and relaxed forever.
The Overlord moved a few steps back and leaned on his sword, breathing heavily. His side was still hurt from the demon's first strike and his chest burned from the heated metal he wore. Still unable to stand on his own two feet he looked at the Pit Fiends fighting the others and said, loud as usual, but unusually slow, almost tired:
"WHO'S NEXT?"

While Overlord finished up his battle, Ename was busy ceating an illusory version of Overlord to appear on the opposite side of the arch-demons. When Overlord said, "WHO'S NEXT?", Ename's illusion-Overlord did the same. Only the illusion says, "YOU DON'T KNOW ALL MY POWERS. TELEPORTATION INCLUDED."

One of the pit fiends turns to confront the Overlord, another rips one of Ename's first shadow to pieces. About that time, one of the scorpians lands on Ename and pins him. It is trying to sting him now. For some reason they ignore the shadow Overlord. One of the Pit Fiends grabs Darkblade slamming her to the ground. It grabs both arms in one huge hand, and then grabs hold of a leg and starts pulling. She screams loudly.
Pestilence and Famine corner rev, and when both of them touch him..he withers up like a grape becoming a raisin. Only bones remain. War turns to Jorn and charges. Death continues unopposed to toward the boy and Shyft.

Ename dissipates his illusions (before the scorpion pins him), seeing that they don't work, strangely.
Ename summons a shadow elemental
It lifts the scorpion from Ename and they begin fighting, giving Ename time to begin preparing a somewhat more deadly spell.

Jorn stands up and pulls his sword out from it's sheath.
"allow me to help you shadowman."
Jorn sword golws with a holy light.
"Allow me to light the way.
Jorn swings with his sword while at the same time.
He uses the holy light with his other hand.Commbining it with his sword and stabs the pitfeind then slices it head off and watches it and watches it die..
he smiles
he runs over to help DarkBlade.
"What i am is no trick."
he grins
He put the sword in his other hand.commnining this sword and his light together.
He put his hand up to his lips and blows.which freezes the pitfeind in it's tracks.
"That's my special kiss"
He grins

Ename finishes preparing his spell, and a rain of shadowy bolts fall from the sky and strike many of the demons. The battlefield is in chaos, with shadow-bolts flying everywhere. The spell's main targets are the minor demons; the pit fiends are only weakened.

For some reason the shadow bolts are stronger then first anticipated. Several demons fall instantly as they strike them. One of the Pit Fiends is even extreamly injured by the bolts. As War slams into Jorn, who apprantly did not see his charge, he sends Jorn flying accross the battlefield. Unfortunately that causes some of the bolts to hit him as well. Jorn's sword is lost somewhere in the fight, and he has a few holes in him. If not for the fact that he was already dead, he would be now.
Pestilence and Famine turn toward Ename. They come at him together..2 of the horsemen aiming straight at the master of shadows. However, all of this has been the distraction needed. Shyft teleports, with the boy.
Appearing within feet of the one calling himself lucifer..the boy charges. Striking true, as his enemy is off guard and not expecting it, you hear a great bellow. All of the demons start dissapating, even the pit fiends. The horsemen pause and watch. As the holy blade peirces the mutant who would be a god, the power he had stolen is released. The water arround starts to boil, the earth shakes, streams of fire come from the ground, and the sky clouds over. Inside the cloud you see a man with horns and a goatee.
A huge hand of cloud reaches down and grabs the dying person. It tosses him into its mouth, and both vanish. Everything settles, and the horsemen stand straight, look at the group, and salute. They too fade into the night.

Moments earlier...
The Overlord saw a second Pit Fiend go his way. Happy that another good battle is about to begin Overlord raised his sword, ready for the first assault. However, this demon did not intended to fool around. He saw his brethren lying in a pool of his own blood and decided to fight with all his power. He extended his hands forward and began chanting some magic words. The Overlord who had already seen similiar movements before chuckled, now that he knew what was going to come his way he could easily block off those weak fireballs. The Pit Fiend ended his chanting and fire errupted from his hands, but instead of several small fireballs there was one huge ball of fire, and even though Overlord blocked the spell with his sword, the explosion was big enough to knock him down and disorient him for a few moments. Those few moments were all the demon needed, he flew to the sky and dove straight onto the defenceless knight, exposing his razor-sharp claws. Using his fighting instincts more than anything else Overlord put his sword in front of him in a deffensive manner and prepared for the blow that could end this fight. The demon got closer and closer, within a split second he was already in striking distance, he raised his hand and lowered it fast, aiming for the knight's throat. His movements were too fast for the injured Overlord, he saw the claws coming down on him... and dissipating before they could reach him, covering the knight in ash and sulfur.
Slowly, Overlord rose to his feet and looked around. The demons were gone, so was Lucifer and th Four Horsemen vanished in front of his eyes holding their hands in salutation to the group. Confused, the Overlord looked at his teammates and said, making a statement rather than asking:
"THE BATTLE IS OVER ALREADY?"
