| I remember there was a mod which changed Magic Schools to be like in HoMM3 (Fire, Earth, Water, Air), but I can not find it anymore. Maybe anyone has it or can write a link to download it. ____________

| How can I unlock the hidden effects and items in the map editor? Back in the day fiur had given me a file to copy paste but I don't know what it was and it's been lost for a long time now. Not long ago I tried the NoBlockEditor but 1) it's in Russian 2) it gave me an error in multiplayer. I might have messed up something since it's not in English but the error was fixed when I deleted the mod so that was probably it. 
 Does anyone know of a similar mod in English?
 
 Something else, does anyone know how to make map editor items turn diagonally? I mean, with R they can rotate in 4 directions but I know that you can somehow rotate them in more. I just.. have forgotten how after all these years.

| I'm looking to edit some heroes' starting armies. Give archers to Ellaine, less archers for Dougal etc. Balance them out abit, like they've done it in H5.5. 
 I seached in data.pak and in forum topics but couldnt find anything.

 Where can i find and change the weekly growth bonus of fort-citadel-castle and faction specific builduings (peasant huts, necropolis skeleton obelisk) for HOMM 5? Checked the data.pak from up to down and can't find it anywhere. Thank you

 Does anyone know how to mod the game rules such that the "Capitol" town building isn't restricted to 1 per player? In other words, make the Capitol function just like any regular town building, buildable in as many towns as desired? I've looked through the <TownBuildingSharedStats> folder and other such places, but couldn't quite figure out where this game rule is specified...

 Hi there,
 
 I recently reinstalled after a long time, but I can't figure out how to mod the campaign heroes, something I remember was quite fun to do back in the day.
 
 How to I change Isabel's skin, for example? I've tried adding the new skin and pointing to it in a Usermod h5u, but it doesn't work, yet I see other people have been able to change whole hero models around?

 for example: I want the Guardian angel skill to also buff resurrection and divine vengeance by X amount of spell power
 
 How do I change prerequisites of hero skills,?
 
 for example: I want to switch lightning bolt and chain lightning into light magic, and have Master of lightning be under the light magic skill tree

| @Lightjustice You have probably found out by now but go to gamemechanics->reftables->skills.xdb. You can see how each skill is set up and under which skill each ability is, edit with those in mind.

 Is there a way to create a mod which changes armies of starting heroes?
 
 What I have in mind is that:
 I create a Random Map using RMG from the game.
 I pick a town and a random hero.
 
 I'd like to change starting armies of some heroes like Grawl or Khytra - it's kind of annoying when they pop up as a starting hero or in a Tavern on the very first day, mostly because of their armies.
 I'd like them to have the same starting armies as the rest of the corresponding class heroes.
 
 
 Is that possible?

 if you want to see a complex example from a code that do that for all armies and all heroes, download Might and Magic 5.5 and open <game folder>/MMH55-Index.pak/Scripts/H55_core.lua
 
 look below H55_DEBUG = {103,"StartingArmies",1,"NoHero"}; for a AddHeroCreatures command.
