Elves in extended is a combo deck, not a control deck. Going aggro with the cheap critters is a secondary (but considerable) game plan. In some matchups (especially the mirror I guess) the will bring in Jittes (some have them main).
Edit: I have seen lists with a single Elvish Champion in the sideboard; it can be fetched with Chord of Calling if they need it.

Yes, of course, it is a combo deck. But, if he hasn't got any Grapeshots after a few Glimpses and a million played spells, a player will attack (yes, it is secondary).

At last! They have added Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker to the conflux list!
He's good, but too expensive (Many times you don't even need more than 5 lands to win a game with the right hand)
Anyway:
Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker
+3: Destroy target noncreature permanent.
-2: Gain control of target creature.
-9: Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker deals 7 damage to target player. That player discards seven cards, then sacrifices seven permanents.
And btw, what is your favorite Planeswalker without Nicol Bolas.?
Mine is Lilianne Vess

You can stop Progenitus by forcing it to become subject to state-based effects, such as illegal moves or illegal targeting. If Progentius is the only remaining card in play, Cruel Edict makes the player sacrifice it, since the oracle text is "Target player sacrifices a creature," things like that. Its even a bigger pain in the arse to kill than Darksteel Colossus.
And Interrupt is an obsolete term used to entitle the object to be played in response to something else. All cards with the type "Interrupt" was replaced by Instant for better clarity.

As if an answer to prayer, here's the excerpt from the Official Progenitus Spoiler!!
Quote:
"Protection from everything" means the following:
- Progenitus can't be blocked.
Progenitus can't be enchanted or equipped.
Progenitus can't be the target of spells or abilities.
All damage that would be dealt to Progenitus is prevented.
Progenitus can still be affected by effects that don't target it or deal damage to it (such as Wrath of God).

There are many ways to deal with Progenitus.
You can counter it when it is played.
It dies to Wrath of God, Damnation and similar "destroy all" effects.
You can play Runed Halo naming Progenitus.
Moat and similar cards will protect you.
You can use cards that prevent combat damage to buy yourself more time.
...
etc.

Aaahh, i thought that protection from everything meant from all colours, artifacts and abilities
But now that you told me this, i don't think he is so tough anymore.
And a question again:
My brother says that if a creature has shroud it is protected against wither, and such abilities!
Is that true?

It does. And even more. But e.g. a creature with protection from white is not protected from Wrath of God. Protection only has the four effects sith_of_ziost mentioned.
Quote: And a question again:
My brother says that if a creature has shroud it is protected against wither, and such abilities!
Is that true?
No. Shroud only means the creature can't be the target of spells or abilities. Here is a complete list of such spells and abilities:
* Spells/abilities that explicitly use the word "target" (or in some cases "targets").
* Auras, while they are on the stack, target the creature they are going to enchant.
* The "Equip" (and the Fortify) abilities.
Whither just modifies how the source with wither deals damage to creatures.

Btw, Progenitus is one creature: you can destroy its controller before it even becomes a threat. I'm sure numerous counters to Progenitus will be formed in great supply.

Since you say "viable", I assume you mean competitive formats.
The smallest where both will be legal is Extended.
Turn three Jhoira, turn four suspend Progenitus, wait four more turns for Progenitus to hit. Seems to be too little gain for such a long wait. If you're playing a deck capable of surviving so long and then defending Progenitus from Wraths, you'd likely prefer a more easily played finisher, maybe one that didn't rely on also having another creature.

Getting out a turn 5 Progenitus is much better than seven, using Dramatic Entrance. Since when Progenitus is not in play he is just a card not a creature, his protection does not apply.

On WotC's spoiler, the Exotic Orchard was spoiled, and its a Bant land filled with Etherium trees, so I'm just assuming that the other four will be one Shard influnced by another, like Rupture Spire is Grixis on Jund.
