"Good job Lap." mark said, patting his pleseosaur on the side fondly as he recalled the exhausted pokemon. He sent out Ariados and began considering what he could do with the vicious little bugger. "We could train him with a fast flying type, I suppose... try to get him to catch the small bird without harming it."

Christian called out his Hitmonchan to bullet punch the side of the building to make an opening for himself. He then quickly recalled the Hitmonchan, hoping it was not seen before charging in through the hole((If one was made)) to see what was going on inside.

"I could try Natu, but between the Psychic typing and Shadow Sneak, that might not be a good idea." Which was a pity as he was close to evolving, but he was also rather fragile and building his strength wasn't as high a priority as that of her front-liners.

((Yes it responded and is currently cawing its lungs out. There are only two entrances to the place, however, so it'll take a moment before Rob and Brig join the fray.))
The building is sturdy, but not made to withstand a deliberate assault like this; it takes a few moments but eventually your Hitmonchan breaks through a window and widens the hole enough that you can slip inside with nothing more than a few scrapes and unpleasant jarring of your Rhyhorn-trampled ribs. You find yourself in a bedroom—small, cramped, with a microfridge against one wall, a Pokemon egg swaddled next to a fan on top of the bookshelf and fresh brick shards sprayed over the bed and floor. The door to the front section of the shop is open but there isn't much noise now; the time it took you to break through the wall was sufficient that the fight (such as it was) is now over.
Pressing onward you see Rob, Conner and Brig standing over the unconscious form of Mr. Blakes; Rob is recalling the shop owner's Torkoal as you enter. Mr. Blakes appears to be developing a black eye but is still obviously breathing, Conner is nursing his jaw. Rob notes this and remarks, "Old ((censored)) has a nasty right hook." Conner nods, and then winces as the movement aggravates his jaw.

Mark winced, realizing that she was right. "Well do you have anything that we could work with?" Marks stomach protested loudly, "Maybe we could get something to eat first though..."

"I could try Pidgey if he's up to it. Or Pikachu has Quick Attack...but yeah, let's get food first." Now that she was paying attention, Mina realized her stomach was complaining of being empty—and felt like it had been for a while. "Do you want to hit the Pokemon Center pantries or the restaurant?"

"Good, he is unconscious, then he won't recognise me." Christian smiled as he recalled his Geodude and called out his Hitmonchan. "Good work guys! Now to the hard part; Brig and Conner, tie this guy up and gag him, my Hitmonchan should be strong enough to carry him. If not, help him in whatever way you can." Christian looked aroun the room "Rob, help me loot this place. Take whatever there is of value here. concentrate on the apricorn balls but keep a look out for any papers that seem important. But be quick about it, we don't have much time. I want us out of here in maximum 15 minutes."
After having given the orders, Christian turns to the pokémon egg, which he decides to take. He carefully packs it into his backpack((/hammerspace pack)), making sure it will get all the warmth it needs while not being broken by anything else. After finishing with the egg, he quickly starts looking through the building looking for items of value. When he is done((Or 15minutes has passed, whichever comes first)) he orders his grunts to move out and to the jeep as fast as possible.

The Grunts get to it at high speed, Brig and Conner stealing some socks and handkerchiefs out of the man's own dresser for use as gag and binding. Brig also takes a moment to retrieve his Spearow after Rob points out that the Flying type cawing its lungs out is going to draw some attention sooner or later.
Meanwhile you and Rob start digging through the shop and taking anything not nailed down. Unfortunately the cupboard behind the counter is locked, and seems a lot sturdier than it looked at first glance, but the Balls set out on display are grab-able so you take them, along with a Fast Ball on the workbench that looks finished except for a few patches of paint. Rob also grabs a box of unworked Apricorns, and queries you whether he should grab the boxes of parts too.
Fifteen minutes pass before you know it and you make it out through the forge, Hitmonchan needing a little help from the Grunts just due to the awkwardness of his burden ((six foot human – four foot Fighting type )), and none too soon: as you leave you can hear a few voices calling at the building asking Mr. Blakes if something is wrong, though no one seems to have spotted you yet.

Mina tried to remember how much she had with her before replying. "I think I can cover both of us, so long as we don't make a habit of this." Mina considered herself a reasonable cook, but she'd been eating Pokemon Center food for almost two weeks now. It would be nice to have someone else do the work for a change. (She quieted the voice complaining about expenses with the retort that if Bandra killed them all tomorrow, she would never get to use the money anyway.)

"After fabolusly completing their heist, Sir Christian and his dastardly band of gentlemen thieves made their quick get away through the roof!" Christian thought humorously in his head, but out loud he whispered "Now let's get the hell back to the Jeep!"

You manage to escape Prai and make it to the jeep, but behind you you can hear the town slowly waking up as people realize something is wrong and spread the word. Hitmonchan and your Grunts stash the still-unconscious Mr. Blakes in the jeep, but as they do you hear voices coming gradually closer:
"...tracks coming this way...wait, no, that's a Pokemon..."
"We're going the wrong way, I told you we should spread out more..."
"If we spread out what do we do if we get attacked?!!"
"((Censored))," Rob swears, "they followed us. No way we're going to drive past them without them noticing us. What do we do, New Kid? Make a break for it or lie low?"

"Ow! Mark, my ribs!" Mina recovered from the unexpected pain just as Mark turned for the small town's restaurant. Though even without the injury it would have taken her a moment to process the action, it was so unexpected. What was that all about? She followed, feeling decidedly wrong-footed.

Stacey looks to the west, where the light and thunder came from, after she heard the screaming.
"I wonder what's going on over there."
She places the box into her pack, and runs off.
"Thank you!" she calls back to the captain. She almost runs into someone as she is looking back, but manages to step far enough to the side there is barely a brush. Mona is having a little trouble keeping up, but isn't falling too far behind.

You catch a brief glimpse of pale blue eyes from the person you almost ran into, but she's sufficiently terrified of whatever it is she's fleeing that she barely even notices you.
You eventually follow the noise to the north edge of town. A rift has formed on the beach, and through this a small swarm of Pokemon has emerged—all of whom are unfamiliar, and all of whom are hostile judging by the human bodies being dragged toward the rift. Several are armed with long sticks topped by enormous fluffy puffballs—they look rather like mops, and the fluffy ends have a dusty yellow tinge to them.
"Round them up! Round them up! The Leech Lord wants them all!"
This is spoken by a huge, bulky Pokemon built like a minotaur, but with the head of a goat, blade-like tendrils sprouting from its shoulders and a gold crescent rising out of its back. A handful of people have kept enough of their wits to be surprised and one person even manages to exclaim, "It talked!"...shortly before one of its smaller kin bashes him in the face with the 'mop.' Despite the unformidibality of the weapon, he drops almost immediately, spasming.
