You make it about halfway through the tidal zone when you find your route blocked by a widening stretch of water. Belatedly, you remember the girl you got the Tide Checker App from warning you that you need to leave some time before the tide peaks to get past the low spots on the path.

Mark recalled lapras with another, more noticeable wince. "Good job buddy, return." He pulled out corphish's ball after a few seconds of thought, telling Mina, "I know we haven't really practiced with this guy yet, but go Corphish! Use Vicegrip on that wooper!"

Stacey frowns as she takes out her pokedex. She finds Mina in it, and sends her a text.
Missed the low tide this morning. I will try for the next.
After she sends that, she checks for the next low tide. Then she goes to get some more rest. When she is all rested up, she heads to the beach to do some training.(Will decide who and how long after I get the times for the next Low Tide, and beach arrival)

Mark saw that his opponent was slightly stronger than before and shook his head with a sigh. "Corphish, you're doing great buddy. Use vicegrip again and try to hit a soft spot!" If his crab like pokemon was able to get a lucky hit, the Wooper should go down without too much hassle.

Slightly annoyed with Mankey, but allover happy with the result of the training session, Brona congratulated the two pokemon on how strong and powerful they are. He wished they would have been of higher level, but they were powerful enough to do what he needed them to.
"Alright you two, wanna go find us another buddy? What do you say about catching us another pokemon too so that we can really show those evil Bandra!" with that he recalls them and heads out southeast, looking for wild pokemon. ((yeah, right now I only have one goal .. catch more, train more, get stronger .. since I lost all my powerful ones!  ))

You get no response from your message. Checking the App, you see that the next high tide is at 11:30 AM and the next low tide is at 6 PM.

Mina:
Mina was more than a little concerned; Mark's Pokemon wasn't doing enough damage to do more than overcome the healing effect of the water. Between them both they could chip away at the Wooper, but Oodramer wasn't going to last long enough to get in another attack. ((Knew I should have tried for Veneer earlier. )) She could ask Oodramer to brace himself, but that would only help him for one attack, and he wouldn't be doing the damage he needed to do for them to win. Houndoom was too battered to survive the hit if she switched for him. She briefly considered a Potion—though she would prefer to save them for Bandra she did have a Super Potion or two stashed in her pack—but realized it was useless after a little mental math: Oodramer was too slow and the attacks hitting too hard for him to get another attack in even if she did. Which left her only the bitter option of leaving Oodramer out the take the hit so she could swap in Houndoom afterwards.
((Hang on, Houndoom still has his Oran Berry.  ))
Mina pulled out a regular Potion and applied it to Houndoom. That ought to hold him for at least one attack, maybe two if the girl kept up her current tactics.

Brona frowns, annoyed. Poochyena, not really useful for much if I remember correctly. Damn I wish I had my pokedex...
Regardlessly, he sends out his Mankey and tells it to use a karate chop on the wild Poochyena.

The next bit of rest takes Stacey an hour and a half. The spot upon the beach she goes for is what she could find for a secluded area, and she begins her pokemon training. She decides to have Mona train with Dickson, hoping to get the new water type in her group some experience, while allowing him to get to know another part of the group. She trains Mona a single level, and giving Dickson three levels worth of attention. After that, she heads to prepare for the low tide crossing.
((Think that the training would end around the 4:30PM area of time. If it takes longer, cut Dickson's training by one level))

The Mankey leaps at the Dark dog and unleashes a devistating attack...though that doesn't look like a Karate Chop...
Slightly battered but still standing, the Poochyena nips at its opponent in retaliation. Even without a Pokedex, you can tell the attack didn't do much.

The Mankey perks up and nods. The Poochyena charges, but the Fighting monkey grabs it in one smooth motion and throws it overhead. The Poochyena manages to arrest its tumble—barely—and comes loping back to retaliate, knocking Mankey off its feet though not hurting it badly. The puppy Pokemon is staggering as much as running now, obvious on its last legs.
