Your Tyrogue tackles the loafing Slakoth to the ground. Detecting that this is the best time to go for the capture, you throw a Poké Ball.
The Poké Ball moves once...
Twice...
Three times...and...
You have captured a Slakoth! Would you like to nickname your newly-acquired Pokémon?

Defense: 23

Sp. Atk: 17

Ability: Truant
Once the capture is complete, the merchants applaud your expertise. One of them says:
"We're heading for the unnamed village to the south of here. Based on the fact that you're traveling through here, I assume that you're heading that way as well."
You nod and the merchant smiles, continuing:
"Why don't we travel together?"
You agree, and join the traveling merchants caravan.
Your group reaches the village at around 10PM. The merchant then tells his companions to set up shop. They head into the center of the village and set up a gray tent. You follow the merchants to the center of the village.
A few minutes later, the merchant leaves the tent and talks to you:
"Where are my manners? My name is Vorlen. And yours is?"
You tell him your name and he replies:
"Very well Christian. Here, take this as thanks for helping us out back there."
You receive a Rare Candy!
The merchant then ends the conversation by saying:
"You might want to go heal up at the Pokémon Center, and then go rest at the inn."

Mina:
As you head to the Pokémon Center, you notice that there is a fifth, gray tent in the Battle Festival area, and that several people are leaving it with items in their hands. It would appear that a shop has been set up there. You hope that the prices aren't as exorbitant as the ones from the gold tent.

Mina hurried over to the Pokemon Center and walked up to the front desk.
“Hello, Nurse?” she asked. “Did Dove come in here earlier? And can I ask how Fate is doing?”

“Ah.” The single syllable managed to convey both relief and concern at once. “I thought she might be. Thanks; I’ll probably see you later.”
With that Mina walked out of the Pokemon Center and headed towards the gray tent.
To Pichu (who was perched on the top of her pack), she said, “We’ll have to hurry since the tournament starts soon, but lets see if they’ve got anything useful in the mean time, shall we?”

I am slow to rise. The day before had wiped more out of me than I felt it had during the night. The walk seemed like it was needed then, but now felt like it shouldn't have happened. The recipient of the pain; my head.
"Ugh. Oh, that hurts." I say as I sit up. "This isn't a great thing to have, looking forward to what I have ahead of me today. Well, I guess I best go get it dealt with."
I head to the Pokemon Center for medicinal needs, and get some food before or afterwards.

You head into the gray tent.
Once inside, you see several merchants showing their wares:
Items for Sale:
Potion
Super Potion
Poké Ball
Great Ball - ONLY 2 PER CUSTOMER -
Antidote
Paralysis Heal
Burn Heal
Spectral Ball - ONLY 1 - 2000 PD
Pokémon Egg - ONLY 1 - (What could it contain?  ) - 4000 PD
((Prices much appreciated...can't remember most of them.  ))
As you look over the wares, one of the merchants moves over to you and asks:
"Would you like anything, young lass?"

Stacey:
You head over to the Pokémon Center. Once there, a Chansey heals your headache promptly. The nurse at the counter informs you cheerily:
"You know, your friend came by not too long ago. Also Dove is in Fate's room, in case you're coming to ask."
You then leave to grab some food over at the Village Hall.

The merchant takes the lone Spectral Ball from its pedestal and walks over to you. He then says:
"Well, it's particularly good at catching Spectral and Shadow Pokémon. The bad part is that, I have no idea where you would find Spectral Pokémon, and Shadow Pokémon are rare even in the Orre region, and that thanks to the despicable acts of Team Snagem."

To be exact:
Spectral Ball
2x more effective than an Ultra Ball against Spectral/Shadow Pokémon.
-Becomes 4x more effective if the Pokémon is afflicted with a Status Condition like Poison or Paralysis.
(That second effect on top of the fact that status effects already have a modifier to the catch rate. )

((Sorry, but I got school from 08:00 O'Clock in the morning to 14:30 Paris time.))
Christian, Tyrogue and Slakoth((I realesed them both)) walked to the pokemon center, well, Tyrogue and Christian walked, Slakoth was training for Tyrogues arms. People looked at the company that walked against the pokemon center and looked curious at the Tyrogue who lifted Slakoth up and down. "There it is Tyrogue." Christian said as he saw the pokemon center, he had been walking for quite sometime now, having no sense of direction and didn't have any kind of map of the city.
((after healing my pokemons I don't know what to do, walk to the inn or meet fate...most likely I would like to meet fate as he signed the letter I got...))

You enter the Pokémon Center and see the nurse at the counter. She promptly heals up your Pokémon. Not knowing what else to do, you ask her about Fate. She then looks at you and answers:
"Well, he can't see you at the moment. He's in a coma."
You perk up as she continues:
"I'm sure you've heard about the recent events that have taken place in this region. Well, Fate and his group of fellow trainers went into one of Team Bandra's bases to destroy it, and succeeded. However, during the battle, he and Dove were severely injured."
She then pauses and adds:
"Dove is the daughter of Elder Saha, the Elder of Aitel Island. Not sure if you've been there..."
You nod negatively and she smiles, replying:
"No matter. You'll meet them all soon enough. You might want to go to the inn now though. It's kinda late to be out wandering."
Before you leave the Pokémon Center, you spy a map of the village.

Once Misty finds the place that is selling goods...((hehe)) she decides to stock up on Potions, Pokeballs, one greatball ((if possible)), and some antidotes. Splitting her money as evenly as possible ammoung them. Then, IF she can afford it, the 'spectral' ball.

You go back to the center of the village, and now notice 4 colored tents (in addition to the gray one your merchant companions set up) that have been up for various days now. You look through the different tents and see:
Blue - A Scientist investigating Shards and their effect on the weather.
Red - The Tent to sign-up for the tournament. However, sign-ups ended yesterday, so the tent is now home to two guards that are guarding many Poké Balls.
Gold - Home to two merchants that sell normally expensive and rare items at even more ridiculous prices.
Green - A strange group of people in a huddle thinking up "Battle Strategies" and how best to get Battle Points.
((Do you want to check out any of those in greater detail?))

I can think of a place… Mina thought silently.
It was tempting—very tempting. The appearance of the rift was drawing steadily closer, and to the best of her knowledge, she would be entering it alone. (Although, in fairness, it hadn’t really come up during the division of the Slashpeak spoils…)
Nevertheless, her funds were not infinite, and she felt her first priority should be maintaining her current team’s combat-readiness. Oodramer, especially, since she would be depending on him so much.
(That she was still not acclimated to the Spectral Pokemon only made her more determined to ensure his(?) good health; after all, she had to make up for it somehow…)
“Sounds neat. I think I’ll pass though,” Mina rubbed Pichu’s head absently. “Can you tell me about the Great Ball? I’ve only seen those maybe once before, how are they different from regular Pokeballs?”

"Well, it's hard to tell from a simple glance, but the Great Ball is 50% more effective at capturing Pokémon than the Poké Ball. The difference becomes really obvious against harder to catch Pokémon."
He then sees Misty and walks over to her, seeing what she would like.

You walk into the green tent and see the huddle of people. You attempt to break up the huddle to better understand what they're talking about, to no effect. These particular people will not be deterred from their strategy making.
However, an old man sitting in the corner notices your attempts and walks up to you, asking:
"Hey there, young lad. I bet you want to know what they're talking about, don't you?"
You nod and he answers:
"Well, it's quite simple really. Throughout this region, there are tournaments and other contests that award Battle Points. Battle Points can be used in certain shops around the region to buy special items, usually rare ones. They're thinking up the best ways to win said tournaments to get those Battle Points."
That seems like all the old man will say, and leaves you just as confused as to what types of strategies they prefer specifically.

What should I buy? Mina wondered—she hadn’t noticed Misty yet. She studied the Paralyze Heals for a moment and snickered silently, remembering Altros. She definitely should get one of those, and a Burn Heal as well—Onix’s affliction with that particular status effect was still fairly fresh in her mind. More Pokeballs would be a good idea as well…
Mina continued to browse.
