((I haven't started it yet, but it's kinda like I start with 1 & 1/2 pokemon against three(1 out of three suck, 1 out of three is good, 1 out of three is half good, half bad. Wait, when did bugs get super effective against pyshic?!))

((Third generation I think. That would be Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald and the Red/Blue remakes for the Game Boy Advance.  Bugs take normal damage against Psychic but do double damage against them with Bug-type moves. ))
Christian:
As you send out your Scyther and uses its Quick Attack, your opponent is one step ahead of you as he orders his Skitty to:
"Fake him Out, now!"
Skitty uses Fake Out!
Scyther is hit for 10 points of damage!
Scyther flinches!
The crowd cringes as it sees your preemptive attack stopped as it is. Luckily, Fake Out only works during the first turn the Pokémon is sent out, so Skitty can't use it anymore.

((Ohh, I see...never tried bug vs pyshic in third generation seing as I always though "snow! Pyshic will kill my bugs." I forgotten what Pursuit do so I try it))

((??? IIRC Psychic has ALWAYS been weak to Bug, there just haven’t been all that many decent Bug types until more recent generations…and a lot of Gen I Bug types were/are part Poison, which IS weak to Psychic.))
Yow. Mina flinched. Ekans isn’t going to last much longer with that burn. Hope Draloed has a plan…

As your Scyther makes to attack, your opponent does something completely...dumb. Dumb, as if this were his first battle. So dumb that the crowd glares and boos at him upon him acting.
((Ok, I'll stop using the word dumb now.  ))
Ranger tries to switch out Skitty!
Scyther uses Pursuit!
The Scyther slashes at Skitty right before the switch, dealing double damage!
Critical hit!
Skitty takes 45 points of damage!
Skitty faints!
The Skitty goes into its Pokéball in a fainted state. The crowd's reaction is a mix of praise (for you) and flat out disgust (for the Ranger).
The Ranger shrugs off the negative reactions and sends out his next Pokémon:
"Go! Rhyhorn!"
The Ranger sends out Rhyhorn!
Scyther's Condition:
HP: 40/50
Condition: Healthy

Christian though about the situation "Rhyhorn is a rock & ground type, means that as long I keep scyther up in the air I would be fine, but if the guy got rock attacks I must hope for a miss. Also, my normal and air attacks will be inefective...hmm...wait, what about that?" Christian took fourth his pokeball "Scyther, return!" and then dragged fourth another pokeball "Surkit, go! Bubblebeam attack!"

As I finish with my meal, I head out and see that there is a new tent in the area.
"I wonder what has been set up there."
I head into the tent, and see that it is a shop. I take a look around, and find some things that would be nice to purchase. I walk up to the merchant.
"Hi. I'd like two burn heals, two paralysis heals, and one of those great balls."
As the trading of funds and supplies is completed, I thank the merchant and head to the tournament, exchanging pokemon, and getting ready to watch.

Draloed thinks that the ranger may be obliged to switch out so he orders zubat to... "Zubat toxic" a risky plan but if sucessful he may just poison both his foes.

As your Toxic fails, the Ranger grins and remarks:

He winks and surveys the battlefield as the battle continues. The crowd is in a moment of subdued silence, anticipating the climax of the battle.

Hmm draloed realizes that the ranger is right. unless he had a steel type he would never swap out vulpix...
he realizes however that the vulpix only has one turn left.

The Rich Boy looks at your Scyther as it readies itself to use Wing Attack. He has just enough time to grimace and say, in a notably irritated and whiny mood:
"This is unfair!"
Scyther uses Wing Attack!
Pinsir takes 36 damage!
It's super effective!
Suddenly, the Pinsir takes out its held item (Liechi Berry) and consumes it.
Pinsir uses its held Liechi Berry!
Pinsir's Attack increases by two levels!
The Rich Boy, visibly surprised at his Pinsir surviving an attack that it was weak against, orders it to:
"Revenge! Now!"
Pinsir uses Revenge!
Scyther takes 7 points of damage!
It's not very effective...
The crowd, that had been in a general state of chatty activity leading up to this attack, muted at the sight of the Revenge. The Rich Boy was promptly flamed and told to get out of the battlefield for doing such a ridiculously bad move.
One of the trainers, a young and cocky trainer leads the verbal assault, saying:
"Go back to Trainer's School, Rich Boy! Use your cash to buy yourself a better education. Fighting moves do 1/4 vs Bug/Flying Types!"
The Rich Boy, irate, shoots back:
"Come up here and beat him yourself!"
The trainer in the crowd grins and says ((again, for those players who might remember a similar sequence a few pages back with a similar trainer )):
"It's against the rules..."
((Finish him!  ))

"Well, time to go out with a bang! Will-O-Wisp! Now!"

The feeble damage caused by Zubat is enough to cause Vulpix to faint at the end of the turn, due to poison.
The Ranger looks at you and says:
"What a heated match-up. Of course, I still have one Pokémon left."
The Ranger sends out Pachirisu!
Zubat suffers from its burn!
Zubat loses 6 HP!
Zubat's Condition:
HP: 16/45
Condition: Burned
