The trio of Helnith natives had been silent near the back. Fate suddenly steps forward and remarks:
"It's a very nice idea. But, when will he send out his next run?"
Zorpaleus answers:
"That I'll have to find out. I'll be back soon."
He heads into the inner reaches of the tree.
((He'll be back later...pending some more players speak up or time passes without any more players talking.  ))

Misty had been silent this whole time but finally she speaks up. "I think going in with the 'slave' pokemon might be a good idea. Perhaps we can find some that will be able to help us once inside also. I'd like to try to catch a pokemon with my special pokeball."

Draloed:
The Aron starts Headbutting the cage. Whatever it is made out of...it's holding up against the forceful rams. It could take a while for the Aron to free the Raichu...
Meanwhile, you and the rest of the group head out of the gym.
You see that the townsfolk are gathered around the town plaza...guarded by Bandra Grunts. A couple of them are crying and you get the impression that they are being forced to stay there.
Another bell tolls as you notice the source of the sound. In the center of the plaza, next to Selene, is Dream. He has a noose around his neck, and you start to listen to Selene's speech:
"...this is a glorious day for Team Bandra. One more accursed Elite Four member will die here today."
The crowd starts booing, to which the Grunts baton some of them into submission, causing the crowd to silence.
"Death to all that defy my will!"
((Now what?  ))

Draloed looks at the stage and at Dream.
He knows he has one chance to use this.
"Skorupi, Pin missile the rope. Sandshrew sand attack any guards you see. Zubat astonish the crowd  Zubat be prepared to strike at any moment"
Draloed hopes that his fast attack will have an effect.

Skorupi uses Pin Missile!
The rope is cut by the missiles, allowing Dream to start moving away from the stage.
Sandshrew uses Sand-Attack!
The Grunts are blinded as they attempt to apprehend the sand mouse.
Meanwhile, the Zubat takes a moment to start chewing on the nearest Grunt, causing her to scurry off in dread.
Selene stares at you and says:
"You? Boy? Insolent whelp! I will have your head as well!"
A closer look at her shows a deadly beauty, but there's no time to admire it.
Selene sends out Bronzong!
The giant steel bell comes out as Selene says:
"Supersonic the boy!"
(( ))
The piercing attack resonates in your ears, throwing you off-balance. It's hard to move as the ground spins.
Selene starts moving closer, when suddenly you see the Raichu come out with a backpack and some Pokéballs, tossing them to the battered up Dream. Selene looks back to stare in the face of Conflarmagon once again.
((Why did they heal his Pokémon?  ))

"The tension in this tree is getting so high that I could cut it a knife" Christian think as the others plan for the infiltration. Christian then yawns and says "All this talking does me sleepy again, I'll think best while resting my brain, so I'll just sleep for around ten minutes...or twenty and then you'll see I will have come up with an great idea!" he said before he lied down, closed his eyes, and tried to fall asleep.

Zorpaleus re-enters the room some 5 minutes later and declares:
"One hour."
He realizes how cryptic that sounded, so he elaborates:
"One hour until the Fire Lord sends out a slaver run."
He then looks at the sleeping Christian and smiles, commenting:
"Well, there's someone who doesn't seem fazed by the circumstances..."
((So, now's the time for more questions. Otherwise, we're headin' out...to do an anti-slaver run.  ))

Draloed:
((Ahh, that is true. That was unintentional...time to fix that.  ))
As you send out the Zubat, you see the Aron coming out of the Gym.
As Skorupi uses Acupressure ((+2 levels to Atk)), Selene sends out Tyranitar!
"Tyranitar! Earthquake that oversized lizard now!"
((LOL at irony. ))
The ripples start radiating around the rock lizard and you can immediately see the force of the attack. The terrain starts cracking; parts of it fall and other parts rise. The Conflarmagon is hit and KO'ed in one shot. ((290-341 ))
((Oh, you have your 'Dex back. For sanity's sake don't scan her Pokémon. If the damage is any indicator... ))
Dream looks at the Tyranitar and comments:
"Heh...you really need to get a life Selene. Your team is even higher leveled than mine."
Selene smirks as suddenly an elderly female voice cries out:
"Raichu! Thunder Wave now!"
The Tyranitar is hit with the Wave and paralyzed.
Selene bites off a cuss word as the source of the order is seen. It is Elder Saha!
((Yay!  ))
Elder Saha looks at you and says:
"You need to get out of here."

Christian kept sleepin, even thou Mina said "wake up", but one effect the call had; Tyrogue came out of his pokéball and bullet punched Christian awake before recalling himself.
"ZZZ-WHA!" Christian shouted as he got sent flying and hit the tree wall "Bloody ... I'm awake, I'm awake!"

With their napping member awake again, Mina looked to the others.

Fate, Dove and Spencer nod as the party heads out of the tree.
Zorpaleus leads the group to a small clearing surrounded by trees. There are one or two Gastly wandering around the area, and they appear to be Shadowed, but docile.
Zorpaleus then remarks:
"Let's hide here for a bit. It pains me to use fellow comrades as bait, but if you want to get in there that badly..."
He cuts the sentence short and motions to wait behind the trees.
Time passes...
Fate dozes off for a bit, under the watchful eye of Dove. Spencer looks at the scene smiling when suddenly, a voice is heard:
"There are some Gastly there! Seize them!"
The voice seems familiar to Mina, who quickly notices the humanoid figure that she saw back when the Elder sent her the message. Zorpaleus remarks:
"That's one of the Fire Lord's captains. They call him Pryath. Actually considering that all of his captains are from the same Pokémon species, they look nearly identical."
The figure stands much like a man, about six feet tall, 150 pounds, with reddish violet skin. He has claws for hands, hooves for feet and a bald head. He has fangs and a green cape.
A few seconds later, the recipients of the order are seen. Several cloaked Pokémon come out of the shadows, with a whip and a net. They look oddly similar to Tyrogues. Zorpaleus confirms the thought:
"Meet a Pokémon evolution influenced by dark energy. This is what happens when a Tyrogue evolves here. It is very much unlike the Fighting evolutions you may have seen in your dimension."
Fate looks at the roguish Tyrogues and asks:
"What is their species called?"
Zorpaleus simply answers:
"Tyrasin...but I'm sure you could've inferred that the name was going to involve the word assassin."
Zorpaleus frowns as the hunt begins.
((Now what? ))

Mina's eyes abruptly went wide, her mind twisting towards rage at the sound of that voice.
"That's one of the Fire Lord's captains." Zorpaleus explained to her, though Mina was only half-paying attention, too focused on the foes before her to pay more. "They call him Pryath. Actually considering that all of his captains are from the same Pokémon species, they look nearly identical."
Mina's thoughts calmed. Moderately. Maybe that's a different one then. So kidnapping an old man might not be on this one's list of crimes. That still left enslavement, however...
As the other hostile Pokemon filtered into the clearing, Mina fingered Oodramer's Pokeball and pulled out her Pokedex. She studied her soon-to-be-opponents briefly, then motioned to the rest of the group. She pointed to the group of slavers, then made a circling motion with her hands. Finally she made her hands come together, hooked like claws, into the center of her imaginary circle. Then she looked inquiringly at the others.

After witnessing Mina do her mime act Misty thinks. She wants us to come from both sides and close in on the group, taking them by suprise she nods and wonders which of her pokemon would be best suited vs fire type. Her growlithe could match types, maybe hedge. Fire would do very little damage to the sandy creature.

(Before leaving the tree house)
Christian got up and took fourth the pokéball with Tyrogue inside of it and called fourth Tyrogue. "Now It's payback time!" Christian said with an evil smile on his face and attack Tyrogue who defended himself. After fighting for a short time, Christian was down on the floor and the Tyrogue standing on him cheering happily. "I-I'm sorry!" Christian said and recalled Tyrogue.
(After waiting)
Christian woke up from the noice and looked up and saw the diffrent pokémons. When he saw the Tyrasin, his eyes got huge with stars and he was about to jump out before he took himself together and stayed hidden. "I want one of those!" he just said to the others

Stacey gives the plan a quick thought, then points to a spot on the circle, then moves her index finger to another position on the circle. She then runs off, pretty much in the direction she moved her finger.
Once in position and ready, Stacey calls out Grimer. A mud slap attack is ordered.

Mina nodded understanding to Stacey and gave Christian an odd look.
You want a slaver who works for one of our enemies to be your Pokemon?
Weird kid.
But, she rationalized as she took her place in their little ambush-circle, he didn't have any Spectral Pokemon at the moment, so maybe that was why. Still wouldn't be her first choice in his position, but if the crew that followed her brother around was typical of Fighting-type specialists, she shouldn't be surprised.
