No one in their right mind would rush dungeon... early destruction spells and Stalkers would turn you to ash.

EDIT: Unless ofcourse, you're not also playing Dungeon.

For me Inferno is the easiest faction to play. The hardest for me is necropolis even though it is my most favorite one.

no, i use nebiros because his picture looks cool

i creep by spamming the gating ability and i always use the horned grunts to take down enemy walkers
i also tend to set my main units aside and let my gated people do the work

Ahhh such tactic. Yes it can prove effective but difficult chess like, its realy hard for me to make a right spot for gatting creatures

besides deleb that really boosts mid game, inferno is the hardest to play, requiring full knowledge of all enemies to know when and where to gate while creeping.

The AI clearly gives creeping advantage to duengeon (very easy on creeping), as computer never target gated units and almost aways random moves don't show up stalkers.

And for me, creeping is a very important part on almost every good map.

I dont know if u was replying to me, but i was talking about different thing, stalkers creeping (stalkers vs. computer) and demons creeping (demons vs. computer).

BTW i'll face stalkers on first or second week, when i dont have yet good AOE spells when playing inferno. But gated units help a lot against them, anyway.

Try 3.1 yet???

Just because Clover can do it, it doesn't mean that you can do it to... Like 1 Imp killing 2 Arch-Angels

Yep, yet easier, just not an auto-win against creeps units as before...

The Academy by far is the hardest for me to play as. Very rarely do i get my mages guild early, and that is what the wizards thrive on. I am more of a charge in and slaughter everyone using beneficial hero specialtys, like the knights benediction. I just cannot play as the Academy

well, with Academy you can go storm in using brute force too.
you just have to play your cards well. A big problem for many players is the money issue. Which is why your hero has to constantly be out there killing creeps and gaining resources. As for the mage guilds, you have to at least build the first level one while your hero can get spells elsewhere (though the mage guild is still very important for spells). Unlike the Necropolis where their units constantly need the hero to spam spells, the Academy units can usually handle themselves for the most part (especially with the artifact upgrades). Take advantage of that fact and use your units to the greatest extent(unless you are thoroughly outnumbered, in which case you should surrender and fight another day). Now that does not mean you can go Stronghold on the enemy, but you can dish out heavy damage with them. Your hero can either buff up your units even more, or rain down havoc upon your enemies. Your selection of what kind of spells you want to use should depend on your units. If you have very tough units with not so much talent in abilities, then curse and destroy your enemies with your hero. If you have relatively weak units with great abilities, then try to buff them up as much as possible.

Well, i play Necropolis, and i think that this is one of the hardest to play especially early, Why? Well first of all If you have a low town lvl (1-3) You have to waste 2 days for building skeletons and ubgrade them to archers..secondly necromancers lack of mana at the start (10 mana while rise dead costs 9) The units are Weak, so casualites are rather imminent. And eteral servis is much weaker now than it was in the 1.0 version, only 1 stack and in very low hp. Vampires have lifesteal in thier basic lvl thats good, but they are so weak and the fact that necomancy dosent work like It used too.

I voted Academy; no matter how hard I've worked to build up a good army and hero, he always get wiped out later on. I know Academy's good, but I don't know how to use Academy effectively.

another great idea is to get arcane omniscience as quickly as possible, which is made to be quite easy with Havez since he starts out with war machines and that is required and not easy to get.

Don't, your creeping will suffer and it's easy to miss the ultimate and get stuck with a useless hero. Even if you do get it you miss the mass spells, masteries and might skills - a custom build will almost always be better. Of course you still can mentor other heroes that way but if you are to use another hero not much sense getting arcane omniscience. You could get scholar to share all the spells from the schools you pick with the secondary but that's a long shot

This may give you some hints.

Well I typically have two main heroes. One going for the custom build and the other for arcane omniscience. And yeah, I use mentoring. That way I can have a strong early and late game.

Strong earlygame I doubt unless the map isn't particularly challenging in creeping or rushing is impossible. Can you take down lots of tier 7 by week 3 for instance? Not speaking of difficult cases like emeralds or titans, in general.

Unless you lvl up the custom hero first and mentor the omniscience one around lvl 20 maybe.. That would give him around lvl 12 and since the custom main will have cleared all your starting area by then you should hope that the middle offers a lot of xp.
