The Caesars 2008-2010 game reports
As emperors have agreed, all Caesar games must be reported in detail. Hopefully, our community will enjoy it  Let's keep this thread void of off-topic in order to keep The Caesars 2008 records concise and comprehensible 
I suggest all games should be reported by BOTH players according to this format:
Player1 (faction, main hero) won/lost to Player2 (faction, main hero) - Map, final battle's day (month, week, day)
Series score: X-Y
Detailed description:

Example
Firedragon (fortress, Ingvar) won elit (necro, orson) - Dragon Hill, 2-1-6
Series score: 2-0
Description: I did bla bla, cleared emerald dragons and took armor of dragon scale, killed fire elementals, build firedragons, went for dragon hill, killed black dragons, attacked elit and fired away his bone dragons with firedragons and big fireBALLS
Replay: easy_killed_elit.sav
elit (necro, orson) lost to Firedragon (fortress, Ingvar) - Dragon Hill, 2-1-6
Series score: 0-2
Description: super start, bla bla, lucky with arts, found armor of forgotten hero, bla bla, in mage guild phoenix, play good, very lucky, thought that i'll win but was fired away... no chances, sorry, see you next season

RatRace - Game 1
Fraudatio (sinitar/purple) vs FireDragon008(kaspar/brown)
Final battle took place as late as week 4, day 7, Sinitar took garrison week 3 day 5. Sinitar won, repålay is distributed to my good clanmates via msn, if anyone want to upload, and know how, feel free to do so.
Its now 1-0 in our best of 5 quarter final.
Sinitar had a good game, with much luck (litterarly speaking aswell) and faced Helm and Robe of sar issus on his area. Warlords Luck and Swift mind eventually popped up, which made it a rather decent winter circle. Kaspar never got logistics, which obviously was a real blow.

Its late, short summary. This time Fire broke first, day 5 week 3, and i followed a couple of days later. I went Summon Dark, he went light dark, and caught me a bit off guard on that note. Elvin will post the replay soon. I will leave you to have a look before i post the results tomorrow.
One thing - Please have a look at my rashakas and their vampirism through ALL final, and tell me why it didnt "work" at occations. I am sure there is an explanation. (No, not rune of magic control second time).
Its now X-X in our best of 5 quarter final.
In general a very good game of Fire, breaking first with Fortress is very well done, and he had one week less army, not upgraded. I should win 100%...
My uploading pictures skills are basic, but well. I even got some joy from Shrug darkness, not that i ever thought so. good thing i scrapped navigation

Also, I know this is off-topic (somewhat), but since Rat Race is being played at the moment in the Caesars...I just HAVE to ask:
How do you guys break week 3 like that? 
And, any tips on breaking week 3/4 with Sylvan?

Question, why wasn't the magmas immune to fire trap ? Is that a bug ? I remember they were immune to such spells

It's not considered a fire spell. And not totally sure but I think it did affect them earlier.

They are not immune, fire traps is not fire spell... Do not know why, but firespellboosts doesnt help either. Its "direct damage" or something, do not thing it is not defined as earth either.
Winterfate: With resurrection or regenereation or vampirism it is really not that much of an issue, add a ballista and e.g 6 green dragons + 10 Treants could do it i guess+ good spells, of course its a lot easier with arcanes, but without resurrection its a bit dangerous..
This game i used 6 storm titans and 260 gremlin saboteurs, vampirism and thats that, add 5 gargoyles to block as much as possible, and woops, one of my easier garrison fights.

Also, I have no idea why Vampirism didn't work. Perhaps it has something to do with how Whirlwind does its damage?

For the whole game i thought Academy would win. But it turned out, once again, that runes are the most powerful racial skill. I was also very disappointed to see that vampirism didn't work on Rakshashas. It could have turned the game around if that nasty ladies would resurrect themselves with ALL the damage they dealt around them.

A clarification on the vampirism thing.
In the first attack that did not drain life the spearwielders had stolen vampirism with the rune.
In the second time that Nur has cast vampirism again they hit both defenders and spearwielders but you may notice that the initial target are the latter that have undead status and cannot be drained. The defenders are hit indirectly by whirlwind so they are not drained either.

very nice replays ... in first game, necro seems to be very weak against dungeon.
second game was really something ... when i saw the armies i couldn't believe that academy lost the game. I think Fraudatio made some mistakes and also I believe he was a little unfortunate with spells
