Okay if you have moon have you caught the second Cosmog (in order to get your second Lunala?). Because I would like to trade my Solgaleo for your Lunala

Well - I agree with you UB & Legendaries were easy. I actually dont use quick balls, I just use Ultra balls.

It took me ages to catch that damn Beldum. But I got it!

Honestly, Tapu Koko was a major pain for me.  It took resetting my DS 8 times before I got it.  I figured if a quick ball wouldn't get it, I would ultra ball it.   kept knocking it down to 1 HP with a false swipe and usually the battle would go so long that it would run out of PP and struggle itself to death.

Oh and yes, I got another Cosmog.

Dusk balls (3.5x in cave or at night) and Timer balls (4x after turn 10) are much more effective than Ultra balls (2x) for the Tapus. (I believe the tapu chambers count as caves.)

That being said, I caught my chained Beldum in an Ultra ball after I ran out of Timer balls so

Fun fact, Kartana and Pheromosa have catch rates of 255, so a Beast ball at any time is a guaranteed catch.

Wanted to ask you guys about your Poke teams in Sun/Moon. Out of simple curiousity, plus maybe something productive will come from this I tell you mine but keep in mind I'm a casual as it gets and mostly go for the looks, though I still try to cover as much Types as possible, at least with moves. Oh and I still didn't finish the main story.

() Decidueye -> as I said already not that good of a choice for a starter cus it has a lot of bad match-ups practically from the start. Usually starters are my aces when things go wrong, but this time I usually must cover for him. Still looks badass though It's signature move, Spirit Shackle, is also quite strong.
() Golisopod -> probably ma fav Poke in the game. Looks so good that you almost forget it's a Pokemon (not a Zerg). And he's a really solid Pokemon to boot. It's ability is a bit irritating though. His scecond type, Water, covers for Bug types Fire weakness nicely. And it has quite a nice potential move pool, it can cover for quite a few Types (Ice, Poison etc).
() Mudsdale -> now this is a powerhouse. It's stats are impressing. Who would've thought it will be my go-to Pokemon where things start to get rough.
() Salazzle -> I like her though she's a glass cannon, even though I even specifically choose a nature that raises Defense. But I suppose that's the deal with all SP.ATK Pokemon...
() Kommo-o -> My newest addition to the team. It's just too badass to ignore, though because you get it late game, it's a bit lacking stat-wise.
() Toucannon -> now this one stayed with me longer then I originally intended. Has ridiciolous ATK (boosted by nature). I know Flying Type can be covered with Decidueye to some extent, but so far it works for me. The 'I will f*ck you up!" look on it's face alone makes it wortwhile. Nevertheless I plan to exchange it for Solgaleo.

Keep in mind I don't use any additional methods to maximize my teams potential, just simple battling, and this team does work for me.

I generally have 3 to 4 permanent members and rotate the others depending on needs.
My current team consists of:

- LVL 71 Leafeon
Caught this guy as an Eevee and he randomly evolved while I was doing Mallow's trial in Lush Jungle.  He's been my go to grass type and a staple of my team ever since.

- LVL 70 Toucannon
Yeah, when I caught her as a Pikipek, I never expected her to become such an integral part of my team.  Beak Blast is such an awesome move.

- LVL 79 Veler (Golem)
I had a Mudsdale as my ground type for a while but I came across an in-game trade in Tapu Village.  He wanted a Haunter for his Graveler.  I had just been to that cemetery area and had a bunch of ghost types including a Haunter or two sitting in my box so I looked at it as an easy Golem for my Pokédex.  I completely forgot that the Alolan Geodude family was part electric type.  Mudsdale now hangs out on Poké Pelago.

- LVL 74 Pele (Incineroar)
He was my starter.  What can I say?  He's a powerhouse.  Also, I'm partial to Dark Types.

- LVL 15 Shieldon
Finally got around to getting my fossils resurrected.  Raising this guy's levels and seeing if he's any good.

- LVL 56 Solgaleo
New member of my team that I just got yesterday.  So far so good.  I'm going to keep raising his levels and after I replace splash and teleport with something else, I'm going to take on the Pokémon League a third time.

I went for this  team
Decidueye (Grass/ghost)
Vikavolt (bug/electric)
Lycanroc (rock)
Silvally (normal)
Kommo-o (Dragon/fight)
Salazzle (poison/fire)

Ended up with this team
Decidueye
Vikavolt
Lycanroc
Salazzle
Hariyama

The last stop was taken up by Solgaleo for a while and then it changed to Salamance.
I wanted so badly to have Kommo-o and Silvally, but you get them so late that I went with alternatives. I have bred a Jangmo-o for my next playthrough and have no idea what to do with Silvally..

EDIT:
For my next playthrough I am aiming for team looking like this
Incineroar
Ninetales
Mudsdale
Kommo-O

Maybe an Eeveelution of some sort, but the rest I am pretty sure of.

So I finished the main story. Pokemon Leauge was ok, gave me a little challange (enough to not say 'it was a breeze'). I didn't like the idea with reappearing characters, but oh well. Also the champion was pretty disappointing.

All in all I still think X/Y was better: better plot (if you can call plot in any Pokemon game good), better music, overall better expierience and much better 'antagonists'. And not so many cutscenes Imo the very best new idea from the Sun/Moon game was changing HM's into riding Pokemon. I hope this stays. Of course I still enjoyed (and still enjoy, post-games left yo!) Sun quite a bit, but guess it will be my last Pokemon game untill they really shake things up Imma a little bit tired of the repetivness.

Like I said (in the meantime) I've added Solgaleo. It turned out he has a different Type then I originally thought so he perfectly fits into my team (plus he can learn Thunder, so he even covers my Electric weakness).

Other then that I wanted to use Vikavolt, disappointingly the ability to evolve him comes so late that I didn't bother cause I didn't want that idiotic 'bus' in my team all the time. Had Lycanroc Midday form in my team, but eventually Mudsdale covered Rock Type for it. If I will ever do a next playtrough I would probably take Incineroar, he turned out to be such a powerhouse when I faced him... Ninetales Ice version would also be quite cool There's also Zygarde, I've had it's 10% forme for a while, cause it was pretty neat (nice idea with a Pokemon you can 'build' on your own). I would like it's complete forme but it's not acquireable until post-game...

Ahhh man. I find these Pokemon Games hard to evaluate. Because when XY came out I said: This is the best pokemon game to date. But not the best because of the story. The best because they keep building on the formular. This is the exact same argument with Sun&Moon. They are the best game in the series. Not because of the story, but because they changed and reworked the formular.

All the new stuff except S.O.S battles and the new fishing are spot on! It is great.
Just like XY won my heart with the graphics and mega-evolutions.

But to be objective. The best game is SoulSilver and HeartGold. Those games are the best in all aspects.

Too be honest Vikavolt is one of the biggest dissappointments imo. I wanted it to be SUPER fast and high in special att. Sadly, it is slow and semi fragile (mostly due to it being slow).
And most of the new pokemon are so slow, and I am normally a speedy Pokemon-guy

I'm pretty sure someone just traded me a homebrew Pokémon through Wonder Trade.
I just got a shiny level 100 Raticate with Pokérus.  It says in the details that it was hatched yet it's in a Love Ball.

From gen 2 experience:
Your pokemon is basically made out of 3 types of stats which total gives your pokemon's final stats.

Base stats is something that every pokemon that is e.g. a pidgey has.

Inherit stats is a stat increase that is determined by the parents and random factors, once a pokemon is hatched (or spawns in the game) its inheritance is forever determined.

Experience stats is a stat increase determined from battling, in generation 2 the base stat of the opponent pokemon determines how much each stat is increased due to the won battle (since it doesn't depend on level it means the most effective way of training is to fight really low level pokemon with high base stats), while in later generations each pokemon gives a specific increase to a single stat, but a much larger increase and also there is a lower limit to how much experience stat you can get.
Once your pokemon has pokerus, the experience stat you gain is basically doubled. I believe the effect works cumulative together with the macho brace that means if both gives a boost of 100% (double), your total boost is now 300% (triple) and not 400% (2 * 2).

I just had a wonderful thought.

What if the supposed Pokemon game that's coming to Switch was an 'all-star' Pokemon games remake? You know: all regions, all Gyms, all EF, all cult-classic trainers and characters? All this in 'glorious' Pokken Tournament graphics? (The only problem here would be how would they handle leveling, cause I assume half-way through the regions your bound to have a 100 lvl Pokemon team).

My God...
