Yeah yeah.. so it'd have ended 1-2 then, you'd still have lost  Now I'll tease you at how you're a MCity fan and are sad about how your team lost to a much better Barcelona team, and maybe poke a little at you

Ok, I see it doesn't matter that Pique was offside when the ball was passed to Cesc, didn't knew that.

I remember a game from our league where a center attacker was clearly offside, by quite a few meters (as he'd only slowly been running back towards the game), then a winger runs deep and gets the ball (he's onside). The winger is fast, the defender can stop him from approaching goal, but not from passing, and the offside central attacker now has a lead to the other central defenders when running to receive the cross in a now onside position.
Of course if the central defenders had speed and awareness to that of the wing defender, the central attacker would never be able to take advantage of this situation, because then he could not be behind the winger as he crossed, or he'd been caught.
