Its a joke, of course the map does not require you being a Stargate nerd

I think just in front of this windmill there is an event with a fight giving force field, install mod "display events" to find your way.

I cant get display events to work. I tried pressing f12 then f6 in game but nothing happened.

make sure (in case you didn't download last version I posted) that TDS/data/s/loads these scripts.txt has towards the end this line:

Display_events.erm

If already has, don't duplicate it, means mod is bad installed. Try it also on new game, maybe the mod needs new game.

I tried on a new game, nothing happened. With the old ver I already added that line on 'load only these scripts', still cant get it to work.

Is it activated? Put it at the top in the list. I don't know other solution, it works perfectly here so it must be some wrong manipulation on your side.

ok I found the shrine which teaches force field behind the windmill. However when I visited it it said I had learned force field b4. I dont remember learning it anywhere. Towns mage guilds doesnt teach it, strange!

And what about that abandoned cabin? Is its purpose to train henchmen only?

I think that the hero which fights the battle there automatically learns it afterwards.That's why it says you know it.

About the abandoned cabin-I remember you can fight there small battles,I guess it's purpose to provide small help for developing the Hentcmen.

Ye I tried the cabin once, fought about 50 times and my henchman got 5 lvl or so from lvl ~40. Idk how henchman gets exp or status in wog but I think number of battles matters more than lvl of enemy.

That reminds me,Sal.

When you get dragon tabard from the battles with Hulk and the other heroes from his land,the Angels in Haart's army begin to fly without any message before,which to explain the new effect.

i don't know if I have any appropriate save to post,so I hope chickenfeeder to produce it,if you want to investigate.

indeed, with a dragon wing tabard equipped SAA can fly normally. I'm not sure if this applies to angels and AA too tho, havent tested yet.

some unstable things in this map:
- attack and return doesnt always work, this makes some fight unwinable.
- enemy's block always work (atleast at the right moment).
- the necklace of taichi quest: the fight with genies at lighthouse always turn my biggest stack into genies. E.g: I have 6 stacks of 1k nightmares and 1 stack of 1001 nightmares, after the fight I have 1001 genie, the original nightmares stack has gone. Same thing happens with the 2nd last fight of lord haart (vs cavaliers, turn my biggest stack into a stack of cavaliers, not always tho, can avoid by some trick).
- sometimes I still get the error messages from a few days ago, this occurs when I stay at some specific spot and open spell book, if I move to another spot I can open my book normally.
- in the dragon king's last fight, azure dragon will most likely enter a loop of nonstop spell casting if it has nothing more to hit. So if I'm unlucky and cant kill it in 3 or 4 rounds I will have to restart the game.

attack and return doesn't work if you attack from behind enemy position, you have to hit them from the front, at least is what I found out using the Palace in other maps. Of course, there AA and SAA fly and sometimes they have Attack All Around but I'm pretty sure, if they have do turn to hit they will stay in that place.

useful info! I will take note of this and do some test soon.

btw, I had always thought azrael is the strongest, until I tried doctor, got lucky getting the full ring of magi in the 1st month and now at month 4 week 3 this is how his army looks like.

Hey, i started playing this map and i love it so far. However, when starting the game (during the loading screen) i've 3 differents big pop ups of like 50ish lines reporting issues. First one is about the first aid tent and second and third ones are about the artificer. This didn't bother me so far, but i also appear to have another issue mire problematic :
When selecting the conflux as my starting faction, I've a toooons of message mentioning missing ressources : "RessourceManager::GetBitmap816 could not find the "bitmap8" resource "W8b.pcx"

I get those message every time i open/close a hero pannel when playing conflux.

Any idea how to solve ?

You probably downloaded the mapsforheroes version, which is for WoG 3.58

Here is the Era version:

Actually no, that's the exact same that i had installed.

And i've the mods adding textures too so idk ^^

But i've plenty of maps to play anyway so it's ok if this cannot get fixed plus i still can play other factions on this map

What version of Era you use? Up to 2.72 I have no errors at all. Also a list of mods used could help identify the problem. Try once only TDS and WoG then see if start map is okay.
