Can you please add info like below as comments for all Tweaks entries (directly in the tool)? Because not all of the options are self explanatory.

<UI.Ext.TextEditBox> - all text edit boxes
<UI.Ext.TextEditBox> = 1, x - locale support
<UI.Ext.TextEditBox> = x, 1 standard hotkeys to interact with clipboard works ([CTRL]+[C], [CTRL]+[V], [SHIFT]+[INS], [CTRL]+[INS])
<UI.Ext.TownMgr> - town main screen
<UI.Ext.TownMgr> = 1 , x - allows you to quick manage troops (not available in WoG/ERA yet)
<UI.Ext.TownMgr> = x , 1 - chat works

If I remember correctly, Up to now when I CTRL clicked on a unit stack, It split-ed only 1 unit out of it. Now it fills all empty slots with units.
Did this change? Is there an option to have only 1 unit split-ed?
Unrelated Request: When I CTRL clik on a single unit it would be usefull to combine it back in the main stack.

i know that HDmod originates form Hota, so stack experience related problems are no topic there.
as a wish/proposal for the swapmanager in HDmod, id like a configuration option that disables the adding of two stacks of same creatures when using the Arrows "->" / "<-" for transfering a stack of monsters to aonother hero,
means. if the receiving hero already has a a stack of same mobs, a transfer of a stack of same monsters gets placed in a free slot instead of beeing added to the existing one.

Depends if your talking about QuickArmyManagement or Swapmanager.
QAM works like this
shift-click = eqally dividing
ctrl-click = slits one from the stack and puts it in free slot
subsequent splits go into different slots until no
slot is left. They dont add.
alt-click = combines all same creature slots to one
shift-ctrl = polulates all free slots with one creature of clicked
stack
swapmgr: shift + "->" adds one creature to receiving hero free slot and subsquently adds more to same slot

Regarding the "AvailableInsteadGrowth" trigger, would it be possible to show both in a manner like #Available(#Growth) or #Available / #Growth or #Growth shown in yellow font?
Should fit unless the numbers are 5+ digits.

Thats mho just screenclutter and too many numbers for my personal first impression opinion. Humans need direct and clear information, doubt that 2 numbers will serve that. Esp growth is nothing that changes very often. Mho its more than sufficient to check the townhall for that purpose from time to time and keep the wall of digits out of the game.
Though if this displaymode would be configurable, then why not, - everyone is responsible for his own ergonomy

Hello,
Sorry I just found out about this but I have Heroes 3: Complete and when I try running the HD mod after downloading it tells me that "Files are missing from Heroes 3. Please reinstall Heroes 3."
So I did, and I still get the same error message.
This is on a PC running XP...
Sure would love to play this!

Did you get any message, what files exactly are missing?
Think we had some similar issues here in the thread.
Do you have the official Homm3 complete Edition or is it just "have all expansions , Roe, AB, Sod -> so: complete" ?
(im running complete edition under xp with hd mod w/o any problems. maybe some c++ dll missing on your system or such)
edit: Quite sure, youve chosen the wrong install folder for HDmod.
When you install hdmod, which folder do you chose to install in?
when choice comes, just click the name of the folder, the game is installed it, dont click/create any subfolder

Combat Map
Hi, I have just installed the mod and find it really wonderful. Thank you so much for the hard-work.
However, I also find that the combat is different compare to the original H3. Are there any ways to change it to the original one, because in some maps, it affects the strategy?

Are you referring to those hexagon shadows? That's a feature of the vanilla game and imo pretty useless to play without them. You can adjust all your preferences by clicking on the computer symbol at bottom left.
An actually new feature will come into effect when hovering the cursor over an enemy unit and pressing CTRL.

No. I mean the battlefield. They are different compared to each other. As you can see in the original version, there is a spot where you can position your army, but not in the HD ver.

Obstacles are deterministic for every tile on a map. The same is true for stack splitting and upgrades (but splitting also depends on relative army strength).

Yes very strange that HD changes obstacles pattern. I already saw this reported, making some custom maps unplayable, see Wayfarer comments in mapsforheroes.

Looks like Hsm mod does not work anymore with HD (crash when swap armies from hero to hero) but, as HD does same thing now, is not a problem. However, HSM had one thing HD doesn't (YES!), transfer backpacks.
Well, just a suggestion, if you could add it, would be great help, backpack goes fast encumbered.

It IS already added.
You just have to press the a modifier key (shift) to transfer backpack only. (ctrl = doll only)
the only difference is that you have to press a modifier key compared to hms, hms is more intuitive in that way.
