Well, now we know that underground entry is epic
And that creature looks like...well sounds stupid but some exotic bird? I mean, those look like feathers, and let's say it's flying ...

Iīm actually pretty sure itīs the creature on the christmas tree. The colors matches perfectly. So as I said itīs either a water elemental or a siren neutral creature. (The creature on the christmas tree is female with blue/gray skin and big red hair...and a brown/beige seashell crown in the hair).
EDIT: I would post the face to prove my point but I guess itīs still not allowed?

The crimson and gold clad knight:
I'm guessing either it's a campaign hero OR it's an advanced class.
The mysterious creature in the lower left:
I'm guessing it's some kind of spirit but not related to the Necropolis.
Judging by it's placement in the screenshot I'm guessing it's elite as it guards two chests and some crystal, which seems excessive for a core.
Siren might be a decent bet but somehow I'd think they'd go with a mermaid like design for that.
Seeing as we presumably are seeing a Kappa come in for the Sanctuary faction I somehow have the idea I should dig through my articles on oriental spirits, Japanese myth seems the best place to start.
The materiel seems to hint at either cloth or feathers, though the top half looks like it might be hair.
If it has a discernible humanoid gender I'm guessing it's female, but I think it's far more likely it won't show a humanoid gender.
Bearing in mind that it is grayish blue and deep crimson, it might be a neutral related to Urgash, I might have to eat my words on a "Primordial Elemental", but I doubt it.

Man I hope that the story at least makes sense this time. It would also be nice if they were able to give a better sense of the scale of the conflict. Part of the problem with the maps in Heroes 5 being so small was that it never gave you a sense that there was a war being waged. In Heroes 3, most campaign maps have 8 to 10 towns and you have these huge armies being raised so there is the sense that there is a real war being waged. In Heroes 5, most campaign maps have like 4 or 5 towns and it takes like two days to travel between them so it feels more like a skirmish rather than a full scale war.
Beyond that, some originality would be a bonus. They relied way too heavily on the "vague prophecies that seem to guide everything" plot device in Heroes 5 and Dark Messiah. They could have made some simple changes that would have made the story more interesting like having Isabel give birth to twins. If written correctly, they could have added a bit of intrigue and mystery in who the real dark messiah is. They could have made the players wonder if your character is the dark messiah or if your character's sibling is the dark messiah or maybe the power is shared between the twins and they're both needed to release the demons.

man the water in the screenshot is to die for! supercool graphics ubihole !!
the griffin's guarding an obelisk it seems....as for the red haired punk....i think its a flyer with large wings....its facing left with a mohawk-ish hair and large wings to either side....that tiny golden yellow part in the front confuses me...could be the beak. it could be an elite neutral creature. definitely not a mermaid/siren....those would be girly i presume...

If you zoom in you see that the tiny golden part is merely the corner of the other chest's contents.
It doesn't appear to have wings, it sort of hovers on tattered frays of cloth or feathers, hard to tell, but it certainly doesn't seem to have wings.

That griffin is guarding a common Knowledge Stone IMO. And I'd say that the red thing is actually a first tease of Sanctuary faction, most probably level 2 or so. It guards only two chests and some crystals, for which you have to get out of the boat, who would bother, if not desperate...

The creature has a bottom part like a ghost and the top part like a bird (chicken rooster!).
It has to be a neutral creature and doesn't fit in with 4 known factions or Naga faction....
This extract comes to mind:
"*Presence of critters on the adventure map
- Turtles, dolphins, birds, etc.
- The Phoenix will be back as a neutral creature. It will be blue because it is linked to the Moon. (Ubisoft is trying to create its own bestiary for M&M universe)."
But I don't think you fight these critters.
What about an Air Elemental?

Really marvelous screenshot. I just love the waterfalls and the depth of the image. About the new creature there, I'll jump on the Siren wagon too. When thinking of feathered creature by the sea, my mind goes to sirens.

That creature is really interesting. I would guess it is an air elemental. Her hair and the bottom part look like they are made of feathers, and her arms are transparent.
Although very different of the classic air elements, she looks way better as an air elemental than a tornado with eyes and mouth
But I can be wrong.

It's hard to see, maybe it's just a statue. But you can be right and is a creature or Michael too.

I'll pray to Gods, primordial and elemental, that this is either a replacement for spring spirit within Naga faction, or a creature from Sylath (Air) faction that's going to be included in an expansion. It does look associated to air.

That's just wishful thinking from his part. I doubt that they'll throw in neutral creatures that will be part of a faction in a later expansion.
Air Elemental is a likely option too.
About those wings in the depth, they look like they come from a statue, but not the obvious one.

I think you can reach it only with a ship, which is rather stupid if you would spend one turn getting off the ship just to fight that creature.

I think it is just a common statue with stairs behinde it. (that make an iluzion of wings)
But the new creature is interesting. First thin that came into my mind was an Evil Eye, but a sea hag would by also nice.
One thing good about heroes 5 is that they are situated on islands and costal regions. That gives us a chance that there are going to be aquatic creatures as neutrals.

Since Elvin (or Cepheus, can't remember now!) said that in the next Q&A we'll learn how many neutral creatures there are, the chances the Q&A will be about creatures is quite high
I hope that there are more than the elementals and the phoenix (dont even know if the phoenix is regular neutral or boss)
My ridiculous Idea on who is the bad guy... Mr. Pavel!
He killed himself for a chance to be with the angelsand then get closer to Elrath. After that he kills Elrath and guides the humans back to Sylath. Sylath becomes happy and gives the power to control Air freely. He then kill Sylath and uses his new powers to destroy the world.
