Whatever lets just talk about the most interesting part about Elementals which is...
Summon Elemental, I really hope you have more control over what to summon in heroes 6. In H5 it was just a gamble I mean if you got Earth Elementals you were often unlucky. Personally when going summon I always took the Fire Warriors perk to always know what I was going to get.( and for the 40% bonus ofc )

My point is I hope you can specialize in what Elementals to summon.

I find it best(and most logical) if you get your elemental from the environment around you. Then you feel like you control the elements, and summon them to fight on your side. If you fight on lava you get fire elementals, water on the sea and snow, earth in the underground and air on grass etc. That is in fact what happens. The elements around you take the forms of elemantals.

Elementals:
Darkness elemental! Very cool. I expected This one coming since I saw the glories. My only problem with them (if that is really what it is) is that it looks like this guy:  http://www.videogamesblogger.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/darksiders-the-watcher-screenshot.jpg
But I guess that is okay, since he looks cool anyways, and fits the "dark" theme.
I believe the "summon elemental" spell was sort of useless since you didn't know who you were stuck with. If dark and light are included, I think that there will just be a spell for "summon ____ elemental", although that might be a little boring, you can specialise in your favourite kind.

Seems like a good idea, but how in the world will Light be summoned? And why Air on grass, if it is literally everywhere? Maybe a selection, like "Air, earth, and Dark are selectable" sort of thing.

Also, if things like spring spirits are in the game, and so are respective neutral elemental, then it leads me to believe that the faction units are the "privileged" or "fanatical" sort of spirit, where they fight for their god's followers, instead of just a spirit world denizen.
Skill Points:
Looks unfinished . It seems that it has a lot of placeholders, but what should I expect from a screenshot like this? The skill tree idea seems sound, as long as they do it well. Since they are pushing for a more RPG-esque game, it only makes sense.


Other things like the catapults and what not are very well done, I think I like the Necro the most, but that's just me.

I don't think it should be dependent on which terrain you're on. It should be up to the player entirely which elemental to summon. However if Summon Elementals should be different spells/skills or whatever is a different story.

It would be fitting if they were different spells imo, and this way they can more easily make the heroes more unique when it comes to summon elemental.
For example a Haven hero should have an easier time specializing in Light Elementals, right? (note: I'm not saying that a Haven hero should be unable to summon dark or fire elementals, just have something that makes him less likely to do so (By the way this is pretty much what I think about different schools in general concerning the different factions.))

Yes, that makes sense. Someone considered to be a master in fire magic would not try to specialise in elementals only to summon water ones because water was near him at the time.
Also, if light elementals and the Spring spirit creature will exist, I believe that the elemental would have a more "primal" look to it. Water elemental being a ferocious wave of terror, while spring spirit being a more calm and composed instead of bestial. At least, I hope this is the case, and not having the two look like each other.

Ok I actually thought the Michael figurine looked very nice and detailed.

On the other hand, I found the SOTD quite boring, nothing really new in it. But true, we get an impression on how the town looks.

I was thinking of something like that but for me Water+Wind is Ice instead of Lightning, wich would be Wind+Fire, something like this:

Air+Fire: Lightning Elemental
Air+Earth: Dust Elemental
Earth+Fire: Lava Elemental

This is what I though before about elements combinations, I didn't have the light and darkness implemented into this though.

Looks cool, but a little confusing, why are the walls so far away from the actual castle?

Is this a screenshot of a battle screen or adventure map? Think it's a battle screen where you can view alot around the arena....that's pretty cool!

Yep, looks like a hero to me too (unless they've completely re-drawn all the 7 units?).


I think it's a creature. Of course they were re-drawning the art works. We've seen (probably) alfa version of the artworks or something like that on the leak pictures. Plus that creature looks too similar with the leak artwork of the Tide Warrior

Battlefield I'm sure, I don't think the units would be lined up like that in the town view (plus it mentions "defending", and defending implies that there's an attack going on).

If you look at the town on map looks
Orc Town on map
You see that the town has a central structure (the town hall) and fortification surrounding it.  This is Actually more realistic to have no main castle and only show the fortification and the rest of the town in the background. If the castles were the same style as in H1-3 it would make more sense to just plunder ewerithing around it and leave the castle alone. No loses, Lot of Gains and enemy is slowed down. This way, where it is actually a fortified town and not a castle with town surrounding it, is much more realistic.
