I recall seeing two defensive and two offensive icons, this artifact seems to boost the physical offensive abilities.

I see what you mean. Now I don't know if this helmet is supposed to be an Über Artifact or something but I would assume that these "Might Power" is something entirely different from the classic attack.
Hmm I remember someone mentioning something about it but that was too long ago... :/

If I had to guess the lady in the picture is the angel Sarah though that's just speculation on my part The plug.. if anything it shows that you can play even if it's not plugged. And the spell icons, I believe they are just shortcuts placed by the player, maybe he was too lazy to click on the spellbook

As far as I understand it, every creature gets a single action in a combat turn, but initiative decides when they're allowed to take that action.

I personaly recon it's:
Raise Dead, Sorrow and an earth spell, the icon's border seems to be green.

Edit: Shortcuts placed by the player?
Very nice, that's pretty useful, clever UI idea there.

Edit2: Hmmm... I mean you're an insider but still, I think the feathery details are to small to indicate wings, combine that with the fact that she seems lower level and is a brunette (so far all of Ashan's angels seem to be blond or even white haired.) I'm thinking she isn't and that the feathers are just ornamental features of her shoulder plates.
Though Sarah would make more sense.... I'm just being wishful prolly.

It's a "Relic Artifact". Relics are in most game the strongest artifacts.

Might Power is probably opposed to the Magic Attack/Defense value or even to Magic Power Like on this screenshot, we can see Magic Attack/Defense.

Like H4, units had a speed stat to determine their initiative and a movement stat to determine how far they could move.

I really need to know what that plug icon means. Like, now. To me it stinks like DRM and I don't like it.

As for the artifact, that means we won't be actually meeting Crag Hack in the game. Since they find his helmet as a relic, that means the dude is history.

The comic rocks though!

Personally I'm going to have a summoning Anton, it will perfect with a slow, defensive and powerful Haven build.

By the way the Lady looks like an angel so that's obviously what she is.

Well, I don't think that plug icon means anything more than that the game is played on a notebook, and that the power supply cable is not attached. IMO they just decided to do a stylish thing in-game rather then having a windows low-battery reminder interrupt your play

But, people did anyone else notice that one character from the crystals comic is a dark elf?! My favorite race will be back in H6

Yes, based on this screenshot , I reckon the order of stats going left to right and then down are:

Attack, Physical Defense, Speed (initiative)
Mana, Magic Defense, Luck
Movement, Morale, Hit Points
Ranged bonus

@Kodial79 Just because Crag's artifact is a relic doesn't mean he's a relic. Relic artifact means it's a valuable powerful artifact as opposed to old and fossil-like!

No, top row right deffinitely is Morale. The two top right icons is a flag (= Morale*) and a 4 leaf clover (= Luck). Thus, we have Morale 30 (= +3) and Luck 10 (= +1).

Since boot is obviously movement, it's pretty safe to guess that the cup will be Initiative. Thus, it must be:

Physical Attack      Physical Defence      Morale
Magical Attack       Magical Defence       Luck
Movement             Initiative            Health
?


Last icon is still uncertain. Someone suggested Range which is an option, another option is Ammo.

My theory:

Offense (Damage modifier based on relation to target's defense.)
Defense (See offense.)
Morale (presuming it's using a new system.)
Spell Power (Damage modifier based on relation to target's resist.)
Resist (See Spell Power.)
Luck (see morale.)
Speed
Initiative
Hit Points
Ranged Modifier

Luck and Morale now seem to have inditcators of their true value rather then ten times their true value. (Luck 3 was 30% chance to lucky strike.)
Which means those stats are now more flexible for manipulations by spells/artifacts.

Edit: I don't see Ammo.
And the comic character is not a dark elf but a necromancer.

Edit2: Basically what Alci said, he just did it in a better format, and slightly faster.

Incorrect. If you look at the Igromir video we see Necro creatures having points in that flag, so it cannot be Morale. When I looked at the ATB bar in battles the order is directly linked to the number of that flag, so it's Initiative (speed).

Haven't seen that video, but I'm very positive I'm right. First of all, it makes perfect sense to group Luck and Leadership together, and Movement and Initiative together. Grouping Luck with Initiative and Movement with Morale would be completely counterintuitive.

Secondly, modifier of 30 and 10 makes perfect sense with modifiers now being 10 times what we saw previously in order to better balance bonuses (we saw an artifact giving +4 Luck which would then be +0.4 - i.e. a treasure style artifact).

Also, there are all the small indications, like Knight normally has Morale > Luck, and it makes sense to have an Initiative of 6 with what was used in previous games, whereas an Initiative of 30 seems ... well, different. None of these observations obviously prove anything, but they support my belief.

Do we even know Necros are still immune to Morale?

I hear you reasons viz. x10 modifiers and groupings, but I'm afraid that Necro creatures still are not affected by Morale (they call the new ability "Emotionless") so that flag cannot be Morale. As the Necro creatures all had points on this stat and the order in that one battle was:

Vampire = 45
Griffin = 40
Ghoul = 35
Ghost = 30
Marksmen = 30
Lich = 25
Skeleton = 20
Praetorian = 20

This was the order of the ATB bar in that one screenshot that's on the main site. You can see Vampires have higher initiative than griffins now.

That flag has to be Speed (Initiative).
