Strange... I find myself liking the unupgraded heroes more than the upgraded ones. Though I still prefer the artwork over the in-game models.

Hi Ms Kassina
Congrats on becoming the Community Developer for Heroes VI! I must say, Heroes is the best series ever made, the turn-based environment, the mythical creatures from Tolkien's creations....it's warcraft meets battle chess!
Kassina does sound Rushian so "Nastuvier"! (spelling!)
Hopefully you can keep our ever inquisitive minds informed on new developments!
Cheers!

Can I have a Question abo the Abyss Gate ability.
Does the effect of this ability give the demon lord a unite bonus that can be as high as the original stack. Or does it work like a resurection. All the fallen unites from the stack are repalced by unites from the gated stack?

From what I've understood, instead of spawning a gated stack, the gated creatures will add up to the original stack. At the end of the fight, the additional creatures will disappear.
Killed units will be removed from the gated creatures first. So if you have a stack of 100 that becomes a stack of 125 once gated and if you lose 30 creatures, you'll still have 95 creatures (125-30) instead of 70 (100-30)

Isn't that too powerful?
Oh joy, that's Nature's Luck just for Demons.
Quote: Death Knight:
"Ultimate Ability: For Whom the Bell Tolls
Target Core or Elite stack will be destroyed within a few turns, unless the battle is won first."
That also sounds a little overpowered I think?
Excuse me, but isn't that a bit lame? You mark a stack, and then it just dies after a period of time?

I don't think Gatting adds aditional unites to the original stack. In fact I thik it works similar to H5, and a aditional stack of monsters appear. I think this because the Demonists ability "Linked Gating"
"Creates a link between a stack and its gated reinforcements. A part of the damage dealt to the original stack is instead dealt to the gated stack."

It's only Abyss Gate that creates a unique stack. It reinforces the stack itself instead of creating a gated stack, which is also why the main stack enters the gate.

I think the Abyss Gate sends a stack to Sheogh and the actual Gateway remains on the battlefield (not gated stack). The stack comes back after the turn with reinforced gated troops (these gated troops disappear after combat). If the Gateway is destroyed whilst the original stack is in Sheogh, it only comes back after the combat. Quite risky as you can't use them then in the current battle!

Necro animation video is here.
Hmm skeletons death animation seems cool, bit funny though.
Vampire is such a showoff.
And the Fate Weaver transformation looks weird, as if it's incomplete. (But man is she HOT!!! )
Edit: However her attack animation looks promising.
Edit2: lol @ Avirosb's Youtube comment.

Oh.. so sorry for the confusion. I mistaken "Abyss gate" for "Seal of Power"
My bad. sorry for this. But the question is the same.
Does it work like necromanci (adds aditional unites)
or like No rest for dead (Lowers the nomber of unites lost)

Yup, the new Necro vid is pretty cool.
I agree with Jabanoss in most things.
Only I find that the transformation is just anticlimactic instead of unfinished. And it rather suits Vampires to be show-offs IMO.

Slightly different I reckon. Let's say:
You have 100 true stack.
You gate 30.
If you lose 35 of true stack, and none of gated stack, then you will have 95 of true stack after combat. If you lose gated stack though, then it won't work...
ie. gated stacks increase size of true stack up to it's original size.
It might mean that you might not want to use any gated stacks here, but keep them as buffers for loses to true stacks.....

I think it's intended to basically be a Inferno version of necromancy.
Say your 100 Cerberi gate 40 Cerberi and neither suffers any losses, and say you keep... 20% of the gated units.
Then after the battle you'll have 108 Cerberi.
That seems to me the most logical conclusion when reading the ability.
If it was a casualty buffer the ability probably would have mentioned something about casualties, instead it only talks about how you keep part of the gated demons.

I'm not fond of the laser beam attack either, it's disappointing for such a great unit, so much wasted potential I like the skeleton falling apart though, it's awesome in an bad horror movie way, hehe. The Lamassu is very similar to the griffin in moves, they look good on a critter but ridiculous on a human faced unit imo.
question about the music: The song in this video is from Dark Messiah. Does anyone know if the other 2 (haven & inferno) are from other M&M games too, or from H6?
