I Really hope there will be a lot of unique artifacts, like H4.
Most of the ones they've showed have been very boring.
Only problem with h4 was that Many of them were really unbalanced before equilibris balanced the game. You guys remember the ridiculous strength of ring of perm or demonary or halberd or mind shield?  .. Ring of permanency should of been a relic.

most of them should have been relics lol. even minor artifacts were already crazy. +30% damage for the whole army 
actually, I see some interesting stuffs in H5 artifacts.
+60 mana (instead of +6 knowledge) does that mean the knowledge stats disappears? and what about spellpower?
+10 fire defense (instead of 25 / 50% protection / immunity against fire) that sounds like quite a big difference. I guess it will be impossible to reach full immunity thanks to only magic defense.

Most likely,I think it will depend on the magic defense skill or some other skill,how much mana the hero has and spellpower will most likely be replaced by the magic attack of the hero

The hero stats are as shown here, that hasn't changed. Knowledge is no longer in, mana is calculated in another way.
PS don't try to compare with the unit stats on the right, you will draw incorrect conclusions.

Can you shed some light on what the "fist" icon represents (3rd from top left, over mana). Its position makes me think of some sort of melee attack charge (like Mana is to Magic, but to Might attacks) - is this off?

I agree with Zenofex, it looks really messy.
And since it looks messy I can't tell how many misc-slots they have. But I really hope they have moved back to Heroes 3's number with 4 or 5.
I mean everybody knows, that one of the slots is going to be reserved for Shackles of the last man, so there need to be several slots, so other thing like lucky clover and snow can be equipped at the same time as well.

Just because you can see there how much mana the hero has,does not mean,that the amount of mana of the hero is not calculated through another stat(like magic defense) .

I'm just analyzing if I like or do not like the heroes 3D model in the center.
I do not have a problem locating the 13 artifact slots (the backpack could be a little more detached). I just liked the "Paper doll" style where the slots were placed aproximatly at their place.
This 3D model would be cool if we actually could seethe changes, but we all know that is not going to happen.
Also I noticed. Their is only "ONE" ring slot

I don't get your point. Elvin is a VIP and he probably knows more than anyone who's trying to deduct things from a screenshot of the alpha version

It is very rarely found,so if you ever find it,it wont matter or make a diffrence.
Noobs always complain about things they cant achieve to win.If your enemy managed to kill 20 paladins,lost around 20% of his army ,there should be a reward.Otherwise,your noobish enemy will win just by camping and ammassing troops.
Troop numbers should not be the only way to win a game.Artifacts,spell shrines,maybe a dragon dwelling in the centre of the map(that one dragon),could mean the difference between victory and defeat.
I say put more artifacts there,heck even overpowered ones have a place,at least in campaign.
I dont know if there will be more artifacts here than in H5,but more==better.

I don't care if it's stolen or not, they definitely are one of the best-looking(THE best-looking, as far as I'm concerned) units of H6, and it brings a smile to my face, that no matter what, they will eventually be in HOMM after all  I wonder, if a VIP fan could shed a light over how the Kirin's design was came up with, specifically if it's recycled, or it is just a crazy coincidence...

Come ooon, drawing a recognizable dragon is one thing, but changing the colouring of a model is another. BTW, drawing a recognizable dragon should be relatively easy, I think, given that almost every culture on Earth has its own distinct concept of what a dragon looks like. And, with UbiHole's tendency to redesign HOMM monsters, they could just as easily have gone for something like this, if they wanted a somewhat unique dragon
