If that's the Jungle town; oh HELL no. They made STRONGHOLD FORTRESS? Goblins and Orcs in the jungle?
...
Oh hell no. 
If it's still called Stronghold, alright, but I was hoping for something cooler out of the jungle town...And wasn't the announcement of the new faction supposed to be in January?
I can live without Elves, personally, but Orcs in the jungle...eeeeehhhh.
This can redeem itself by having no Orcs/Goblin crap in Elite/Champion, but that's about the only way.

This was most unexpected, but the units look amazing. As a big fan of the former barbarian factions orcs are right up my alley. Just throw in some beasts (like the sabretooth tiger) and a kick ass champion unit.
Now the stakes are high for the last faction, an heroes game without both elves and wizards, Ubisoft is clearly making the series their own.
As it should be.

It`s only in H5 that Stronghold were a all exclusive orc faction, nobody said that humans can`t be in it, after all in H4, H3 and so on they were heroes that you could recruit and some were human (Crag Hack for one). And with a good story behind it you can come up with a good reason for a human (or enlist the aid of the orc through an out of blood) to be leading an orc army

Can't be the case, though.
The 4th faction is a returning faction, and the 5th faction is new; we know this. Now, if Stronghold is returning, as a jungle town, that means the last town has either Underground or Plains as its tileset.
If it's Underground, and a new town, that means no Dark Elves and no Dungeon.
It could be Plains, but I don't see how they can make an exciting new faction on Plains when it already has two towns sharing the tileset.

I personally don't believe the Stronghold-in-jungle thing before I see it from official side. I believe Stronghold is autumn plains and that we will still see Naga as Jungle.
Of course, I've been wrong before, as I believed Sylvan was 4th faction on autumn plains, but that's what I believe until I get substantial proof otherwise.

Actually it's easier to come up with a brand new faction for the plains than for underground, no matter how they call it, it will be a renamed Dungeon for many (especially if Medusae make an appearance based on the Namtaru pictures).
But if 5th faction is plains, then I still doubt Dark Elves would come back in expansions, surely they'd want to bring back Academy & Sylvan for the fans instead.

I'm with you on this one; the lack of confirmation from Cepheus (he confirmed the archangel pic immediately more or less) & the lack of any information from Xhane are rather suspicious.
Could very well be legit, but unconfirmed. I'd be very happy with Stronghold on plains; they look very jungle-y at the moment, but if they're on Plains, I'm very ok with that. Just don't want 'em in Jungle!
I honestly don't think Plains can hold any more towns than it already does (haven/sylvan or haven/stronghold), so Underground seems the only realistic option; it'd also be weird to have Underground without a town. But again, waiting on confirmation.

Stronghold is a surprise (was hoping for Academy or Sylvan like many of us, I think), but hey, this art looks really good indeed!

They will probably not be in the jungle, they will be on plains and nagas in jungle (or dragon knights) they will need a more refined and "nicelooking" faction to balance all the demons, undead and orcs 
I think the faction looks indian inspired (a bit like tauren) rather than inca, execpt the harpys. But their description says their from some island somewhere. So that would explain it.

well yeah this was a suprise, orcs in the jungle. Next faction will be lizardmen in the desert(yes you know the kind of lizards that live in the desert)
I really like their style, and it seems pretty clear that they will have some kind of Aztec-Style just look att all the feathers and skulls. I mean the harpies basically are eagle warriors
However I don't this in the way that in will "hinder" any other jungle faction(H3 fortress or Nagas) and that makes me a sad panda 
Hmm I wonder what kind of uber female this faction will have that everyone will complain/praise about now... I'm guessing a female Cyclop with huge boobs.

Cant say im surprised stronghold is the 4th faction. What shocked me a bit is that they are the jungle faction, which is totaly obvious from their appearance, they would be out of place in any other tileset.
That doesnt change my opinion about naga beeing the 5th faction, east asian themed naga "sanctuary" could fit autumn plains perfectly and of course there is underground which seems ideal for snake, water themed faction to me.
About the creatures: Im happy to see harpy back, one of the creatures i missed the most. The white one looks great.

I don't get it ... Isn't Ubi Germany official enough ? I mean, it's the official website, but in german.
Ubi.de has ALWAYS been the most active site from Ubisoft ... hell, they even have their TV channel!
And tbh, Stronghold on autumn plains makes as much sense as jungle, desert or snow. Based on Dark Messiah story, Orcs could ONLY be in jungles 
Regardless of how lore-suited it is, Barbarian in the jungle just feels wrong. I'm really not a fan.
Sorry if I'm whining excessively, but if this really is the jungle town, I'm hugely disappointed, especially if they've got 5 (five?!?) returning units.

I think that Shaman or Sky/Earth daughter from H5 is going to be in H6 because they mention that goblins can be used as offerings...
If these three units are core then Shaman (or what ever the new name is...) is elite...

STRONGHOLD! Not expected but cool none the less, I welcome them! 
The artwork is brilliant! I love the tribal colorful theme which is obviously jungle tileset, just look at the harpies exotic bird design! Wonderful!
Elves are getting old, I'm sick of the same factions over and over and over! I welcome any faction that is either new or haven't been overused so that it'll feel somewhat fresh! The new style and tileset of the Stronghold obviously does that!
Now I wonder what the final faction could be, since it'll be a new one! To me it would seem strange if it isn't a light faction considering Haven being the only one so far, but how many light factions would be an option without Elves?
