1) No one is talking about necessary evidences you again just ignored the OR in 6. Your reasoning is somehow based on imaginary text or you are lazy to read full posts.
I don't recall reading imaginary text.

Quote:
2) Regarding (6) what are you talking about...??? Of course BH played role in patching, they did the 1.2 patch. They were not involved in 1.3 only. Or am I mistaken here?
Well, I could be mistaken. I was told that BH wasn't involved in the patching process. Suppose they did, in fact, release v1.2, then I suppose it does work against them in terms of their coding expertise, since v.1.2. is a pretty weak release for a 2-month worth of work.

But come to the think of it... it's hard to imagine these guys being bad coders. I mean, they wrote the H6 game engine right? With its astounding graphics and all. But I suppose these things can occur even for good programmers.

They didn’t do the graphics, it was done by another (I think American) company. They maybe did the buggy graphical engine itself which lags on high end video cards. Particularly on SLI the animation is so chunked that it makes the game almost unplayable. Several graphical glitches and crashes are likely due to this engine and the buggy game engine, so I wouldn’t give them any compliments at all. IMO, they have botched up and messed up this game, I just hope it is salvageable.

Eh, even if they fixed all the bugs in the game you'd still be stuck with a story and characters written by Ubisoft.

Does anyone know something about the "Puppetworks Animation Studio"? Is it still working on the graphical part of "Might & Magic Heroes VI"? Or this company left the project together with the "Black Hole Entertainment"? I just hope that they have stayed involved in the development process. The game should have a common style, and introducing a new firm may put a crimp in achieving the visual unity.

Nothing bad is heard about Puppet Works Animation. As far as we can tell by their site, they are still in business.
So I'd say that no news is good news.

If only we could revive NWC, steal the rights from Ubisfot Ocean's Eleven style (I'll spell their name right when they stop disappointing me), and have them make a good, modern Heroes game.

Honestly, I would take the NWC continuity any day over what the corporate chimpanzees at Ubisoft cranked out between drinking/cocaine binges.

Puppet works are still in business, BH is near bankrupt.
And no BH does not work on HoMM any more. there is a new company announced last month.

I mean that just because a company is in business that doesn't mean they are working on HoMM. I think it would be hard to keep up with this thread and somehow not know that BH isn't working on HoMM

I often forget that English is not the native language of most of HC, especially since everyone here speaks (or at least writes) it so well. Coupled with text being such a horrid medium for rhetorical questions and sarcasm, I can see why people are being confused.

In case anyone doesn't understand what I meant, it was that just because a company is in business doesn't mean that they are working on HoMM. War-overlord said that Puppet Works is likely still in business, I was saying that is not a solid indication that they are working on HoMM.

Well, when asked if Puppet Works is still in business, I replied that they certainly appeared to be. I claimed that they, unlike Black Hole, do not appear to have gone bankrupt. And that there is no reason to assume so, unless we hear otherwise.
I never claimed that Puppet Works are working on HoMM ATM. But they could be, should Ubisoft decide to bring them back on.
Also, let me state here, that I have no actual information one way or the other about Puppet Works involvement. SO do not interprate me as hinting to something. All I can say is that at the time, their site was in the air and nothing bad was indicated on there.

I would say Puppetworks are still working on HOMM6 as they did all the in-game 3D animation work which, imo, were very successful with over 1000 individual animations....

Only Blackhole are out.

@Miru -> I speak English (and heads up: if you want to be sarcastic then use these little icons/symbols to show people this fact, as you mentioned text communication doesn't always reveal the intention/sarcasm)
