Mixed up units?

Thank you very much for the mod.

I am pretty sure that I have installed it correctly.

Nevertheless, when I run the program and access to the castle units some of the units appeared to be wrong because I have a flying unit available for recruitment of the castle. It looks like a griffen.

Hmmm!?

I had not used the settings.dat file properly!

Hey!

I have a question! I downloaded and installed properly the Mod itself and the ERA II. They work fine, edited heroes, line ups, etc. All funtcions working, BUT when i buy the upgraded version of a building, i can't buy the third monster, only 2 of them appears! (for example, when i bought the Upg. Golem Factory, i only could buy Iron and Stone Golems, no Diamond or Gold ones. It's the same with Magi [no Enchanters], the Bandits and with the Elementals...)

Whats wrong? What i can't see?

First of all, thank you all for your kind words, I really appreciate it

Secondly, I noticed that some members posted problems and then double posted the solution themselves... Please before posting read the first post of this thread carefully and for the older versions of the mod (1.0 - 3.1) please visit the original threads. As for the latest version (v3.2) please read the instructions carefully before posting any problems.

REMEMBER:

All mods need the appropriate WOG options to function. If you don't have them then the game will malfunction. Notice also that the older versions that rely on H3Updater don't actually work for everyone. In some cases the installation may go wrong, there might be compatibility issues etc.

@Carew6

It is normal not to see the Enchanters and Golems for the first week they are built. I think next week you'll find they're there. If not, then you need to find the Battery.dll file (found in mods/HoLv32/Era plugins) and copy it also to the original ERA pluggins folder (found in mods/WOG/Era plugins).

@Miszka

Please edit your post and remove all these erm text problems. There's no need for them. As I said, the problem might be in the WOG options. Are you sure you have the right ones?

when I set recommended options manually I have errors, but when I choose hol3.2.dat game works fine... O.o

Okay thanks, the waiting part actually worked but still found an annoying feature:after that i bought the Upg. Conflux and the Upg. Pyre, the two dwellings never, ever give any week growth, zero. all the other creature growth is fine and i can buy them, but i can't buy any Phoenix and Fire/Air/Water/Earth Elementals. any idea?

Hello,

I don't know if it is a Hol or ERA issue, anyway, I've been creating my scenario in map editor under Hol.3.1 Standalone, after I copied that file into newer version of Your wonderfull mod, and open it into Hol3.2 map editor, lots of features was bugged, pictures were missing, creatures are missing, etc., even some errors ocurred, like that one - [url=http://oi49.tinypic.com/29z5yyp.jpg]A large picture[/url].

So I have a question now - how can I install New Object Path and that one path that make new unit able to be placed into garrisons in map editor on Hol3.2 (or ERA in general)?
Moreover, how can I install .wog files under ERA/HoL (for example - animated lakes)?

(I installed Hol.3.2 onto ERA II installed onto clean installation of HoMM3 Complete, just like You have written above. After that, I've installed HiRez Mod 3.0 Beta 11, it seems they are pretty compatible together. )

Patch 1.09 is available in Era II mods, use mod manager to enable it. Animated lakes are already in ERA 2.3 by default.

Nice mod, congrats.  I opened editor and many objects missing inside. Zeobjts.txt needs some fixes, it is obviously the one from 1.09 patch but without objects in lod.

In editor they look static, even with animation options enabled. I haven't played the game yet.

Hmmh, I haven't seen that patch in Mod Manager anyway. I've got there: Hol, Secondary Skills Scrolling, Yona (with same priority as SSS, oops ), Fast Battle Animation, Wog. Nothing under inactive. Load button don't work or there is nothing to load maybe.

Tools\Era Start Menu\start.exe, make a shortcut of it and place it on desktop, it saves a lot of time. If you don't have it, you don't have Era 2.3 then.

What .exe does 3.2 use to start? Is it the same as before? H3era.exe (Which I assume is it) simply isn't working it says it needs mss32.dll. Reinstallation may fix it. So I'll try that for now.

Edit: Got mss32.dll, just I don't know what exe this version uses.
