Firstly, I told you the week of creatures spawns wandering creatures and increases weekly growth part has nothing to do with my mod.

Secondly, the negative growth part has happened to me too. It is a rare phenomenon though, it has to do with creatures that have third and fourth slots to recruit. It may be caused by the Battery.dll plugin or it is caused by the script (some variables may overlap). Whichever the case may be, I noticed that pressing F12 (and reloading the ERM scripts) on a loaded game (before building the building that causes this trouble) does the trick. Still, that's just a speculation.

You should really use Mediafire as filehost instead of 4shared.

Also, I think you should use the upper body of the pegasi for the mermaid instead of the medusa. Medusa is not very hot.


Note bug: When I buy a town hall in Rampart I get 20 wood and ore + 10 of cry, mer, gem and sulf. I guess that's not on purpose?

Also, you should turn WoG creatures off right?
I just fought some black sharpshooters (I don't know from which mod they came) on the adventure map I pressed to see what they were called and it just showed a picture of Harpy Hags (acting as if it was just Harpy Hags) when I started fighting them they acted exactly as Harpy Hags and I even think they had the same stats. How do I deal with that?

Once again, one of you didn't bother to read the installation instructions and started complaining about this and that.

If you see Harpy Hags info it's because they are used (replaced) by the Assasins. And If you don't see the Assasin's stats it's because you didn't load the appropriate WOG options. See the first post of this thread.

By the way, the resource bonus you are referring to is a WOG option called first money. It doesn't appear when you build the Town Hall, it appears on the start of the first day.

Well, I did read the instructions - downloaded WoG era II and extracted your files to Mods and chose your script in WoG Options, so I can't see what I did wrong? And okay, I wasn't aware of the first money thing, I haven't played that much WoG.

So basically what did I do wrong - if I did load your HoL.dat WoG options?

I tried again, and it still seems as the modified creatures act as the baseID creatures - e.g. "Longbowmen" are "Marksmen", "Arch Magi" are "Magi" and what is supposed to be "Crossbowmen" are "Archers" and so on.

It seems a lot of people like me are experiencing some difficulties about the installation - wouldn't it be possible for you Hero to make an instructional video of how to install HoL properly?

OK, first of all are you sure you downloaded the right thing? Because:

1) The creature names should be changed even if you didn't load the WOG options

2) The dat file is HoLv32.dat and not Hol.

So, are you sure you are referring to HoLv3.2 from this thread and you didn't downloaded the first link that came across your path in the thread (namely v1.1)? Because some of you downloaded the older version and expected the features of the new one (which of course weren't there).

So the question is: Did you or did you not download the last version (which is the last download link) from the first post of this thread?

Yes - I know they should so that is causing a lot of confusion for me.
And yes, I downloaded v3.2 and then I read your readme and downloaded WoG era2

I do load the HoLv32.dat but I just didn't remember it is name when I posted earlier, so I am loading your script, is it because I miss the "new object patch" - because that would make sense as I tried to play one of my maps that I created for HoL v3.1 and it couldn't load a lot of different objects... so... I just need that patch or what? I did not use your link to download Era II though I just googled it.

Well, I can't know what went wrong. It might have something to do with your ERA II installation. You are aware that ERA needs a clean Heroes III installation to work properly? ERA can't be installed over WOG. Furthermore, the mod doesn't work with other creature changing mods as well (the changes will collide and malfunction).

For instance, I once wanted to install my mod on another computer that had Windows Vista installed and it didn't work at first. I had to reinstall Heroes III and afterwards ERA II as well in order to get it to work. A careful re-installation of ERA II on the system seemed to do the trick. I don't know what else I could suggest.

Yes. I copied my HoMM3 Complete to my external HDD
But as I installed Era it did say that the program was not properly installed, but I guessed that was just because it was a mod and not a real product so it was installed as it was supposed to. So I guess I just need a reinstall, okay.

Again thank you so far, Hero, I really look forward to play 3.2!!

Thanks Hero of Light for the 0 spawns glitch fix with the F12 thing, But I have to reinstall now because (Even if) I reload the HoLv32.dat the game still appears and functions as if I did not, (Example Succubi=Energy Elementals, and when built at Jaguar Warriors.)

One thing to note though is that it works for one game atleast, and then you have to redownload mod.

So, ya, just a good thing to note that ERM scritps shouldn't be reloaded.

Also, (I don't know much about heroes modding) But would it be possible to setup it up so the original unit in the slot, would no longer be recruitable? I think that would fix a lot of the units with this difficulty.

Example:
Goblin (No Upgrade on buidling)
Hobgoblin > Wolf Raider (With upgrade on building) (Goblin no longer available)

I think for this glitch that would fix all units but the 4 options Conflux building, and the (I think) 3 option Tier 2 Dungeon building.

I don't even know if that's possible but it would fix atleast my problem with the mod. I'll just copy my friends version of the mod that doesn't have the no spawns glitch for a while then.

EDIT: Played some more, same issue with the no spawns reappeared.

Slayer seriously, STOP posting about the creatures spawns. There's a limit on how many times one can tell you that my mod has nothing to do with it.

If you can't get this mod working on what you THINK is right, then I guess tough luck, you just have to stop playing it. Or, alternatively, you just have to learn ERM and edit it at your wishes. Either way stop posting complains all the time.

I would gladly upload a save but i don't know exactly when it stops growing.. Don't know if it would be of much help ?
Also this is not the only issue i have unfortunately, i did install it 3 times though, and even on a clean system.. I don't have a clue... Too bad i can't enjoy this mod cos' i really like crimson tides !

Just tell me, if you want me to try some stuff, like if it's by buying buildings or something, else i have a few saves with creatures growth problems that i can upload on day 7. Because the strange thing is, if i build everything on easy difficulty after first week growth is working... so after this i go king dif. and at some point (obviously not day 1 on second week) upgraded pegasi growth isn't working. Told you, on Windows7 64 with clean install, both on wins*** and H3 (without any other mods)... And i'm not stupid, i did install it correctly... Maybe it's my system i don't know..

Other issue i have is that if i take Tower i don't have all alternatives upgrades (2 golems and no enchanters)

Anyway : I'm not complaining at all, thanks a lot Hero of Light, for giving us all your hard work ! You make people want to learn ERM, but i'll check this later on as i'm very busy with other stuff..

I want you to know that I still play Crimson Tides and really enjoy it !

1) Duplicate comment. Rampart, not a castle.
2) T?y-1 and checks for y-1=1 are odd.
3) "i" is used as counter variable and temporal variable. Obviously, it gets screwed. That's why not all towns are processed.

When I ran the timer for all players, I got +10 pegassis on next day. Probably all tests were done playing red.

@Hol, do a search for !#TM21 and remove all (there are eight of them!) except one. That one, should be:

I'm so sorry but while we're at it is there any upload i can make again that would help see the problem i'm experimenting with Tower faction : i don't have gold and diamond golems nor enchanters...

I uploaded the script here, with my timer fix, I don't know if it needs other fixes following Bersy's advices. Replace the one in Hol/Data/s, will not work on saved games. Please report if any problems, on my system worked, while the previous not. Thanks for the save, it was much easier to find the problem this way.
