are girls only interested in superficial stuffs btw? I know that claiming they are not easy girls make them feel intellectually and spiritually superior, but still

The tragic truth is, even great minds in history admitted to not being able to understand what women really want. So if anybody comes up with a user manual you can be sure it's complete BS. It's not like riding a train on tracks, it's like flying a plane: too many manoeuvres possible, yet all of them need to be in the right place and time. So if you memorize stuff here and try to repeat it word by word, she'll see through it and get mad and you're screwed. Well, she'll get mad anyway so basically you're screwed. Nobody can teach you anything, you'll need experience and for that you'll need to be screwed and get screwed.

The "great minds" made this statement as a metaphor, just for pointing out how irrational a woman acts. The truth is simple yet hard to achieve: to be a successful "male" you need to be over confident in your skills. Confident beyond rationality because you won't deal with rational facts.

To be successful is something you begin with, something to have a shot at it in the first place. I think they were talking more about situations DURING the relationship. When do they get pissed, why do they give you the silent treatment etc etc.

Having a durable relationship is similar to acting in a movie, you have to act naturally while simulating. You must know exactly the border lines to not cross, how much you have to show "you don't care", how much to show you are in love (don't be fool and show you can't live without her) and most important, show that you are a strong entity and not dependent of her. To a certain point, acting like a jerk will give opposite results. We have an expression in french, not sure what gives in english, "être sur le qui vive": means you have to be fully aware, both defensive and offensive at every second you spend near her.
In general, it helps having a job you are passionate about. There is nothing more challenging for a woman than finding out that you have a higher or similar interest elsewhere.

Well, the whole "it's a game of power" stuff isn't for me. I only feel happy with women I can act spontaneous around. Don't tell me that's not possible because it is, actually I think those are the only relationships that are capable to last life-long.
I agree on being passionate about what you do though. It helps because it makes you a better and happier person. I guess being a pianist has its advantages btw, I can imagine a lot of girls are into that.
