I live in Portugal, a very small country to your standarts, so those things are diferent here but I can't see where is your problem.
You are from the same town, right? So, you both can meet when you visit your parents.

I've been reading the thread for the first time during this weekend so I will give you this summary:
1. In a few months you don't seem the same person. Your way of looking at your fellings is completely diferent.
2. You will both get a tremendous boost to your independence in the next months (Ex: allways take a bus alone to go anywhere, sleeping outside your parents house for weeks in a row...)
3. Sorry to say but the greater obstacle in your way during all the thread is yourself. I even think that maybe the 'has boyfriend' 'doesn't has boyfriend' stuff could be about you and what you saing to her those days...
But is your love life not mine.
I can add, if you want, that when I was about 10 years older then you I decided to wait for my girlfriend, while she was getting a master degree in France.
Did it worked? No, she broke up during the second year admiting she allready was having something with another guy for sometime. I was cheating every time I could since second month.
Do I fell regreat right now? No, I don't. It was just another experience...
On the other hand, I regret every time I didn't tried something (both in love and business matters) because I was to affraid of the consequences. Does it makes sense to you?
Sorry, from the readings I had formed the stupid idea you were an american kid. I know Serbia is not so bigger then Portugal.
