Silly generalization, implies that women have some sort of need for attention that needs to be satiated.
Like we men have some sort of duty to look at her ass cuz otherwise her need for attention goes unsatiated and that would be sad.
That's a sexist generalization. There's as much variety among women as among men, yet it's always easier to find more variation within your own group than with an outside one.
I can think of several persons who if I noticed them looking at my ass I would cringe, I don't need their attention, so why would all women want mine?

Sal, glancing at a woman and appreciating her aesthetically isn't reducing her to a sexual object. There's "Oh, she looks nice" and then there's "I want to have sex with her", which are two completely different thoughts. The first is nice, the second is usually unwelcome.

Nothing wrong with desiring, I agree (though I think it's strange to have that desire purely for aesthetic reasons). What's wrong is expressing that desire towards someone who may not want it.

Mvass, can you not be robotic about anything? If someone is not a hundred percent jerk which carries a brick instead of a brain, you handle those approaches with intuition, that's what all the suffering in the teenage years do, teach you that stuff. Don't road accidents happen every once in a while, yes they do, but nothing big.. And you say, sorry, didn't mean to bother you and go on your way and she goes her way knowing she's still hot.

I said "expressing that desire to desire to someone who may not want it". Determining who wants and who doesn't depends on context. A woman at a bar? Sure, you can come up and talk to her, as long as you leave if she's uninterested and respect her boundaries. If she's at a bar or club, it's not unlikely that she wants sex, so it's reasonable for you to find out, though it's important not to be pushy. Anywhere else, people usually don't want to be approached by strangers looking for sex.
As for the teenage years, you know what they taught me? To only have relationships with people who were already close friends. And that was exactly the right lesson to learn.

Been there done, that. I don't fall in love easily, never at first sight, so it's usually someone I know. Yet, it always has the risk of ruining the friendship. And if you naively say "why, if it doesn't work out, simply go back to things as they were" I will come chasing after you with a shotgun.

The first commandment in dating is expressing your desires, louder, faster and smarter than another guy. Of course, there is no guarantee that it will work so you may have to abdicate before becoming annoying, and here is the difference between sexual obsessed and just horny man. Unfortunately, women are not very impressed by logic, sensibility and tenderness before they go intimate, they just want a straight man, without inhibitions and showing insecure. Later, the relation ship may evolute and then you must emphasize other qualities, the ones which are durable and protective.
There are exceptions still, some women (rare) indeed may prefer a guy who takes his time and is not insistent. Up to you to adapt to such weird algorithms. Do not confuse friendship with love.

Same, I don't think we should mix, they are opposite concepts. You may take the long way and try to date a girl by showing her all your qualities at once, but you take a big risk if another guy is in the race. Because women are rarely great psychologist, except for their own person.

Sure, there are no rules, but there are some tested facts. The most weird thing is that you can also succeed (with big chances) if you play the "I don't care about you" game. It is risky too, so you must initiate it when you feel she is interested but not yet decided and it hangs.

I think everything is life requires diplomacy, even love. If you were alone with a girl on an island, you are free to take your time and act as spontaneous as you want, but in real life valuable women are very praised so you don't have years, but rather days. But beware at one thing: women consider early tenderness as weakness, and they play a game too, always. Of course, the expression "my two cents" is applied here for the best, as frankly, they will always remain a mystery.
