I'm personally looking forward the next DoC No-Rare Tournament in our Forum,. It seems so fun, i will participate when the next tournament is held...

Hi every body. Time to ressurect this topic
I have to purposals for you.
We could start a new No-rare tournament or....
What would you think of a Balanced deck tournament.
Rules of such an event: No card limitations, you can use what you want, but your deck must have a minimal number of Creature, Spell and Fortune cards. (Lets speak sommething between 13-15 cards each)
What do you think?

I think the old rules still reign supreme as one of the balanced system in this tournament,. but, limitation of those card seems quite interesting,. it's deserve to be tested if we want it,. But there is one thing that i want to complain about, if we limit the card such as creature in low amount such as below 20,. in your example like 11-13. I fear that any AOE damage card take a heavy toll if used by anyone,. and it's rather unpleasant to see those effect too overpowered in some circumstances like this, i know this is an important part in our strategy too,. but the loss of that effect it's still too high in my opinion,. how about your opinion my friend?
NB : no offense mean to anyone,. it's just my own opinion,. forgive me if i'm wrong friends.

Well, they just announced that they are going for 2 days maintenance, from 8th 4AM to 9th 8PM April, so I guess it will be on 10th or 11th April.

Good news for everybody (except me, since I have one more level to grind). But can we stick to the topic?
The questions I would like some people to answer
Open VS Standard
---- or ----
Balanced decks VS No-Rare
I would personaly be for open in both considered themes, since standard has rather few cards in it right now.

I would like if some of the people here after the expansion would get together to play an in house open format tournament like ban it all, where all the participants can ban 2 cards.

Then it's a good news the update came out earlier than predicted times.
It's more interesting to play in standard format if we are not too far again from the BS2+H0N,. But, No-rare seems preferable though. I think this two option is worth trying...

@Davey: I think the choice should be:
Open & No rare (as in the past)
OR
Standard & anything goes
I think if we go for standard we need at least a week to check out the new cards and strategies, but it might be exciting for this HCom tourny if we go standard as it's fresh and we might surprise each other with new, innovative strategies.....

Yeah, i think that's nice thing about Standard.. I'm mostly agree with DoubleDeck.
Personally i choose Standard & anything goes, like the post above.
More opinion about this thing needed..

I am all for it, but we will have to wait and see. The game will be out on 9th April and we will see all of the cards. After all, there might be some good cards that will change open a lot, but overall I agree, it is easier to just allow everything in standard.
There are no clear winners like in open since Necro got significant hit with the removal of Decay Spitters.

Yeah,. That's it! Hope it will be launched soon... I'm really can't wait for this.. Hopefully it will brings some new interesting meta-game though..
