Demons are the strongest level 4, since by the time enemy has like 30-40 crusaders u have 300+ demons
just watch some good players play before making pointless suggestions

I'm talking 1x1, not how many you can summon. Of course demons will be more, that's the all point of demon farming.

Inferno is my favorite town (maybe tied with other evil towns) so for me go ahead. 7 imps with 5 hp do 35 hp and 9 with 4 do 36 so 5 hp per imp is more exactly.

and growth of all. Feels completely unfair to cerberus having same base growth as pegasus. Also 24 crew mates seem too many.
We are not planning to change stats of original creatures (including their growth), however some Cove creatures may get a change in that way.
The Imp's hitpoints were returned to default as it was decided to be an unnecessary and ineffective change. The positive effects of increased hp did not outweigh the break of habit, the impaired ability to estimate creature's toughness from the original game.

Are you planing to add conservatories from evil towns? and/or make conservatories paired with his towns? griffin conservatories only with castles zones etc...

There are no plans of adding more conservatories to general gameplay or significantly changing existing ones. But some banks with creature reward might be added for the specific maps and templates.

It is totally unfair that imps have weekly growth of 16 while pikeman's growth is almost same as imps' - 14 and assuming health ratio is 4/10, HotA team must consider increasing either growth to 18 or health to 5. If you ask me i'd say growth change would be more appropriate and original because there is a saying in tavern: "What the imps and familiars lack in strength, they make up for in numbers."

If you want to judge blance you can't just compare two units out of context.

HotA Map Editor - Defining a Starting Hero
Hi all,
I play random maps which I generate and then run through HotA Map Editor to remove Dimension Door, Fly, and Town Portal. My question is before I generate the random map, I choose a starting city and starting hero. After generating the random map and running it through Map Editor and reloading, it retains the starting city I chose but randomly selects a different starting hero
Is there a way in Map Editor I can define my starting hero - I've searched through all the option screens with no success.

What is it with growing impatience about update in this thread? As far as I know the nearest usual update release date will be January 1, 2018. Please relax and play the game until this date.

Is it HoTA or HD mod that made heroes unable to walk up direction when standing on a learning stone?
Cause I just noticed that some old maps are not playable, cause you can't move in that direction anymore. I'm quite sure it was possible without hota/hd ?!

I guess it's mostly because the announced update from january 1, 2017, was missed and is still absent.
As Nik explained, though, this is the result of several key members of the project having been wrapped up in other stuff, most of which is reallife. People are just anxious to hear anything at all, with the update being almost half a year overdue based on the initial announcement.
Of course, what people do need to keep in mind is that HotA is a project made by fans (in their spare time), for fans (for free). It's a gratitude towards the community at large and anything we (as the community) are given should be considered a gift, not something we're entitled to. Something that people sometimes tend to forget .

I agree, of course. Constantly begging for an update (which is coming, rest assured) is probably annoying to the team.
But could someone answer me? Is the Forge still planned?
